Even before our shoot, he shared great tips and answered all our questions, which made us feel confident and excited going into the day. On the day of our wedding, Eric showed up early and was extremely professional. His talent and vision were clear right away. My husband and I aren't the most experienced when it comes to posing, but Eric guided us through everything so naturally. One of the best parts? The turnaround time. He sent us a sneak peek of the photos just a few hours after the shoot -- and they already looked amazing! By the next day, he sent over all the unedited photos so we could choose our favorites. Our initial consult with her was so engaging, she made us feel at ease, described her process, and by the end of the call, we already had a good feeling she was the one. We cannot say enough great things about working with Prasanna. We planned the elopement in less…read morethan a month and she was willing to work with us on a very condensed timeline. She was personable and kind and met with us virtually prior to the ceremony to walk us through specifics, which was so appreciated. During our planning calls, Prasanna was very prepared and flexible, ensuring we fit in as many shoot locations following the ceremony as possible. She was even kind enough to film the ceremony portion for our moms that couldn't be there. We spent the whole day and into the evening together, and it truly felt like having a friend along for the day! She made us feel so comfortable and took extra special care of me to ensure I was able to get to each location safely (I was 14 weeks pregnant). And above all, the pictures absolutely blew us away. Each location was shot so beautifully and captured both us and the city of San Francisco that is so meaningful to us and our journey. Our friends said we look like we're in a vogue photoshoot! Prasanna's creative direction shined - from the shots in the forest with the lighting on my dress to the shots at the top of California St with cars whirring by to the most epic shot of all on the cable car (with mere seconds to jump on and get the shot!) It's so hard to pick a favorite! My husband was most excited about the shots at the beach at sunset. Prasanna brought lanterns as the sun was setting and it really does look like a scene from a movie! Just wow. Lastly, she got us our sneak peek shots and ceremony video within two days of the wedding! That's unheard of! Even with all of the extras she provided (video, quick editing turnaround), her prices are very fair and reasonable for the high quality work she provides. I was initially planning to propose at Filoli, but wanted something more private and nature-focused. Rather than simply telling me everything would work perfectly, Prasanna was honest about some of the potential mismatches between the setting and the experience I was hoping for. I really appreciated that honesty. She ultimately suggested Mt. Tam as an option, and it ended up being the perfect location. From there, she was instrumental in helping shape the proposal plan. She scoped out the area beforehand, sent reference photos, talked through logistics and timing, and helped me think through potential hiccups before they happened. Throughout the process, she was incredibly calming, organized, and easy to communicate with. During the shoot itself, she made us feel completely comfortable and natural. She gave helpful guidance and prompts when needed, but mostly encouraged us to just enjoy the moment together. You can tell she genuinely loves both nature and photography, and she has an incredible eye for capturing people within a landscape in a way that feels authentic and emotional rather than overly posed. The final photos completely exceeded our expectations. Our friends and family were blown away by them, and we truly feel like she captured our relationship and the feeling of the day perfectly.
