Danielle took ALL of that stress away and delivered the most amazing day. I didn't have to worry about finding vendors and interviewing/getting quotes, she was able to help me with that which was so appreciated. Trying to plan this day from states away would have been near impossible without the help from Grandest Gatherings. Danielle has such style and a mind for design and colors. I wanted to be surprised the day of and she completely delivered. Our picnic was stunning, she thought of every little detail even down to having a sleeping pad under the blanket to make sure we were comfortable. As if having someone plan out your elopement and hiking about 3 miles round trip while lugging a charcuterie board and pillows wasn't enough, she's such a friendly bubbly person! I felt like we were friends right away. I'm currently looking for reasons to have her plan another event because it was that magical.

After our wedding was postponed due to the pandemic, and our first attempt at an international elopement was canceled, we decided to elope in the Catskills.  With six weeks notice, Danielle was able to help us coordinate and design an incredible elopement, including the ceremony, brunch, and dinner.  Leading up to our elopement, we were in close communication with Danielle, discussing our priorities and what type of design we were looking for.  We went back and forth on design elements, and she welcomed our input.  Danielle was able to curate an elopement based on our budget and wants and was genuinely excited during the entire process.  She wanted this day to be just as memorable as we did.   Danielle coordinated with vendors on our behalf, coordinating a greenery runner for dinner with the existing florist that we were already working with for our bouquet and boutonniere. She found vendor options for brunch and dinner, taking into account our food preferences, and presented us with a wide range to choose from based on our budget.  She was also able to use her network to find us the perfect charcuterie board to compliment our dinner.   The day before our elopement, Danielle and our photographer scouted for the perfect brunch location.  We're told that she cleaned algae and pools of water off of the designated brunch rock at the waterfall so that it would be dry the next day (it had rained the day before).  The day of our elopement, Danielle lugged everything for brunch down to the waterfall (she's a beast!) and had it all set up for us when we arrived after our mountain ceremony.  She also kindly shooed people away from the spot that she had so meticulously picked out the day before.  Danielle was in constant communication with our photographer, so that she knew exactly when we would be arriving.   While the design of our brunch was absolutely stunning (plating of food, candles, pillows, blankets, even a comfy pad to sit on), it was the little touches that really impressed us.  Danielle got us fresh coffee when the existing coffee from our brunch vendor had just sat out too long and had some additional surprises in store.  She picked out a location that gave us the most amazing view of the waterfall while enjoying chicken and waffles and prosecco.  A few hours after brunch, Danielle arrived at our Airbnb to start arranging everything for our dinner.  We left for a sunset hike and Danielle went to work.  She completely redesigned the patio of our Airbnb (with the host's permission) for the most intimate and perfect elopement dinner, including moving a very large gas grill, table, patio furniture, etc.  She even restrung the host's bistro lights so that it was a continuous line of lit bulbs with the burned out lights out of view! Danielle ordered our dinner for us on our elopement day and helped us pivot when the original restaurant closed for the day unexpectedly.  I can't forget to mention that Danielle is a serious fire whisperer!  She started fires for us the night before our elopement and the night of and took over maintaining it on our elopement so that we could relax and enjoy the evening.  She can seriously do it all. While we had a schedule of events for the day, the communication between Danielle and our photographer allowed for the timeline to shift so that to us, everything seemed to occur seamlessly even when we were "off schedule" by an hour, which I know is no easy task.  Danielle surprised us with so many additional touches on our elopement day, surprises that I feel I shouldn't list so that future clients get to experience the same joy that we did when we discovered the additional touches. I'm betting that she also did so many additional little things that we had no idea about. And it honestly felt like we were hanging out with a friend that was busting their butt to give us the most amazing elopement day.  Seriously. It's run by the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont, but they're a very open minded bunch and I've seen all sorts of events go down here. The wedding I photographed made use of the center's chapel-- but had a buddhist lay priest officiating. We used the woods and the lake background for formal photos. The main dining hall for the center was used for part of the reception and the terrace outside was tented for overflow. The dining hall boasts ample commercial kitchen space (a caterer's dream). There are also nursery areas for your littlest guests. Another great feature that the BBCC has is dormitories. It's not 5 star accommodation but it's a cheap way for many of your guests to all be under the same roof and right on the grounds of the function. The one big drawback is that there is really no way to disguise the institutional-ness of the space. A dining hall is a dining hall. But if you're considering the space as an option, go look around. I think it's likely to be very inexpensive for what you're being offered and the wooded lakeshore provides a beautiful backdrop that bares clear visual markers of Vermont.

We got engaged in July after 6 years of dating and knew we wanted to get married fairly quickly with just our closest family there. The most important thing to me (besides marrying my soulmate!) was to have amazing pictures of us that we could look back on and remember our special day forever. However, we both are not crazy about getting our picture taken and wanted someone who was going to make it as comfortable as possible for us. I found Jenna with a simple google search and when I went to her page immediately fell in love with her style and photos. I could tell from her bio and portfolio that she was a super cool person with so much talent. I contacted her and she got back to us right away, scheduling a breakfast meeting to get to know us and talk about our ideas for the ceremony. When we met with her she was just as cool in person, answered all our questions, and even suggested Shelburne Farms for our venue when I explained to her the vibe I wanted. Even in the middle of a very busy wedding season, she was able to give us a date that was just a month away. She stayed in contact with us right up until the day, having us fill out a questionnaire to get to know us better, and scheduled a phone call 2 days before our wedding to lock down the finer details. On the day of our wedding (which was a Monday!) she helped us navigate how to set up a first look and was even flexible with the schedule when an unexpected rain shower started right before we were set to take pictures! My husband and I had a full hour with Jenna to take pictures before our ceremony, where she made us feel immediately comfortable. She made us laugh, gave us the explicit directions we needed on how to pose, and made everything super fun! Our families were also impressed with her during our ceremony and family photos. She was able to take my vision and make it a reality. Even though we only had two hours for our personal pictures, ceremony, and family pictures, the time with her did not feel rushed or stressful. He did not get any communication from the business stating this was not possible. By the close of business 4pm on that day they were still not delivered. Then I received a call at 5:10 stating they were outside my work "if you are still here". Needless to say I was not. I then had to make arrangements to pick up my own flowers. When I arrived to pick them up none of the flowers were blooming and they tried to give me just my flowers and forgot the chocolates. I had to remind them that they were ordered with chocolates. The long and short is this kind gesture turned into more work for us and not one flower to look at.

Pipsqueak came to our daughters 1st birthday party in April and was amazing. She then did face painting for all the kids and Balloon Animals. Her assistant doing the balloon animals was so nice and patient bc my son really wanted another one and he was so kind to make it, it made his day. She made sure my daughter's other 3 siblings felt part of the show, they were so excited. I highly recommend her for any birthday Party.
