EJ and Thomas made sure to capture the entire day and to get key elements that were most important to us. We truly enjoyed spending time with them! They made us feel comfortable and were great at directing us as well as being able to hide in the background when needed. Both of them showed us throughout the process that they cared and wanted to make us happy. When we received the highlight video, we were blown away! My husband was apprehensive about hiring a videographer but I convinced him to do it as I really wanted to have those memories. After watching the highlight video, he was so happy we hired Reel Motions. They picked one of the songs we liked and it flowed perfectly with the video. They captured everything we wanted and more! I've watched it so many times and each time I love it more. Everyone we've shown it to is amazed at how beautiful it came out and how professional it looks. The video quality is top notch as well as the editing. I'm grateful for them taking the time to make this special for us. They even scheduled a call with us while they were working on it to confirm a few details. Later on we received the footage from the day which included another four videos (getting ready, wedding ceremony, speeches, and friends and family). Not only did they put two of the videos to music but they also made them into edited videos that are fun to watch. They captured moments that I didn't even remember and/or didn't notice that they were recording. The ceremony music sounded great and the mics they put on my husband and our officiant blended in pretty well and captured the voices well. We 100% recommend Reel Motions to anyone who wants a videographer to capture special memories. We would use them again in a heartbeat! Long overdue on a long review (our wedding was in June haha), but wanted to share about our…read moreexperience with Pure Devotion. The team, Eric and Connie, is great - they're super sweet and passionate people. They offer a broad selection of services for you to mix and match depending on your needs, so if you are an overwhelmed couple like we were, then this is perfect for you :) We used them for videography, flowers and props, lighting, and photobooth. Videography: Eric handles all the videography and photography, and he's very knowledgeable about his craft. We were a little on the fence when we first started looking for a videographer (we didn't know if we could justify spending thousands of dollars for a short video), but Eric was very no pressure and just happily showed us samples of his work. He patiently made sure he understood what we were looking for, we ended up going with the "cinematic" style 4K highlight video (~3 minutes long). On the wedding day he showed up with 3 assistants and a drone to capture all the footage. It took roughly 3 months to get the video link and he mails a USB with the remaining raw footage. He went the extra mile and helped us edit the raw footage as well so that it was watchable and not a jumble of clips. Flowers: Connie did an amazing job with the flowers. I just sent her pictures of what I wanted, we discussed which flowers were important to have, and she delivered beautiful bouquets, aisle pedestals, guest table decor, and the dining centerpieces. I actually wanted taller centerpiece vases than what she had in inventory and she went out and got some! Flowers looked fresh and great through the night. We also had her help us with draping background for our garden setting. She went out to the site to make sure the draping would work and checked in with me before making adjustments day of. She kindly stayed through the ceremony to help move the flowers to the reception area afterwards. She has a ton of props in the studio, so don't forget to ask her what you want to rent! Lighting: We rented uplights to put up around the room. They also have pin lights and other fancy lights. The uplights were technically fine but I think we had missed communication on the color, so check beforehand :( Photobooth: Unfortunately can't recommend this service. Supposed to be backdrop with props manned by an attendant that prints out the photos. Camera ended up being unattended, photos mostly blurry/out of focus. Thank you, team! Couldn't have done it without you!

We chose Uncommon Weddings to cover both photo and video for our February wedding in Carmel after…read morehours of research looking through social media, trying to find the best fit for what we want and our budget. We opted for their highest/most expensive package since it seemed worth it - and we were right! The whole team, Sway, Sean (lead videographer) and Camille (lead photographer) are very responsive from the start all the way to the end. Sean, Camille and their associates arrived on time, they were professional and worked seamlessly with all our other vendors. The crazy part is, I didn't notice where they were at all during the ceremony and reception, but they were able to capture all the special parts, big or small, in a candid way that really captured how we felt during those moments! We also highlighted early on that our parents and our dog are very important to us, and it showed on our final photos and videos! They delivered the photos and videos earlier than promised and are very accommodating with all the edit requests we had! For the photos, they already edited almost everything we would've chosen ourselves, we only had to ask for around 15 more edits just to capture a bit more and we are very happy with the results! Camille nailed our portraits shots too! And the team handled the colors and edits of those shots so perfectly, there's really nothing much to ask for. Their video portfolio is the main reason we chose them; their style is exactly what we wanted and they didn't disappoint! Our final highlight video is so beautiful, so well thought out, and it showcased our wedding in a way that we will truly cherish forever! The reception and ceremony videos are so well done too, we are so happy with the results! Sway and his team were super prompt with answering any questions or acting on any suggestions we had leading up to the day. Everyone working the event, including our lead videographer, Cliff, put so much care and attention into making us feel like we were their ONLY clients. They beautifully captured our ceremony while never feeling like they were in the way. Our reception was joyfully raucous, and the footage reflects that impeccably. And when it comes to the highlight video, we are OBSESSED! We really appreciate that they were able to tweak it slightly after we gave feedback, and they flawlessly edited our footage to one of our favorite songs. It was also remarkable just how much footage they captured! It really felt like they were able to record every single special moment of that day. He even pulled us aside later during the day where there's a short 30 minute window or so to capture shots when the light hits you just right. A lot of the shots during that session ended up being some of the best shots in our collection. We opted for the package with his team, who were also great. We figured this helps free up Max to capture our big moments while his crew could capture alternate angles, details and B-roll footage. I knew is was the one for us! Max showed up for our rehearsal on time and met our wedding party and family and it felt so great to have us all working together. Photos at every angle and different lighting, and he stayed way past the scheduled time just to make sure he got the best possible photos for my husband and I. We are very happy with our choice. The only thing I wish we had done differently, was give Max a list of specifically who to have one on one photos with. My husband and I are both a little passive, especially on a distracting day like our wedding day and did not speak up about getting more individual photos. Our fault for not giving him a list! Lots of group photos for sure, and the most beautiful photos of the two of us!
