Sherry Sommers literally ruined my friend's wedding ceremony this weekend. She showed up late. When…read moreshe arrived, she took her place on the stage and announced that she would joining Philip and Angela today. My friends are not Philip and Angela. Everyone was stunned. The groom corrected her after composing himself and she replied with "I know" into the microphone for all of us to hear. She continued officiating the wrong couple's wedding even AFTER BEING CORRECTED. After about 5 more minutes and her reading a prayer my friends did NOT pick out, the bride instructed her to get to the "I Do's" and stop talking. Again, this woman brought the wrong wedding script to my friends' wedding and continued performing the wrong ceremony instead of apologizing and starting over with the correct script chosen by the couple!! If you want the ideal wedding ceremony, avoid Sherry Sommers, The Door County Wedding Officiant.

Continued on to call the bride by a different name and read a service for an entire other wedding that wasnt chosen by the bride or groom. Officiant wasnt even present for the rehearsal. Most astounding thing I've ever witnessed at a wedding ceremony. If this is your special day, please consider someone who will at least remember your names.
