I remember the first time we stayed there my son meandered down to the beach to splash around when he was a tiny little thing and it was so tranquil. I knew immediately that this was a place we'd return to again and again. It's just one of those places that feels like you're going back in time to a simpler place. The area around the property is vibrant and alive. Everyone seems happier just being there. Elkhart Lake is such a picturesque little town. Everyone at the resort gets up and takes a morning walk to the shops, the farmer's market, the park, the library, or to get some coffee and breakfast. Part of the charm is you really don't need a car while you're there. Everything is walkable from the resort features themselves to additional dining to a great ice cream spot. The lake is gorgeous and pristine in its beauty. Enjoy time at the beach, the complimentary kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats, or rent a boat in the nearby marina. If you're not a lake person they have a nice pool and, of course, everyone loves a hot tub! Often times there are events in Elkhart Lake on the square around Siebkens or on the property itself. Siebkens is steeped in a rich history of auto racing and is frequented by people in IndyCar and other motorsports including those at the nearby Road America raceway. You can see a lot of pictures and information about racing history at the resort. The food is phenomenal. If you're a grilled cheese connoisseur, and who isn't, then you're going to love Siebkens - but honestly, everything hits. The cheese curds are classic Wisconsin, the baked brie is next-level, and the short rib ragu is the kind of dish you end up thinking about later. Siebkens has a formal dining restaurant in PAM's and a bar with food at the Stop-Inn. PAM's is perfect for a nice, long meal with great food and wine or cocktails. The staff is incredible and really makes it a nice experience. The Stop-Inn is a fantastic bar with darts, pool, and plenty of space to let loose. I've had many a good conversation at that bar. There's always live music on the patio outside the bar and people just having the best time. Bottom line, if your family wants to get away, go to Siebkens. You won't want to leave!

Check in was great; We were given tickets for each day for breakfast, room was clean and everything shipshape. We found a place to eat that we picked out before our arrival at the hotel. There was a nice dinner group as we arrived; that's always nice to see. Upon returning to the hotel we stopped in the bar and met Conner, the bartender. He was a nice bartender and good conversationist. Filled us in on the history of the inn. Breakfast Saturday morning didn't disappoint. We got certain breakfast entrees to pick from or you could use the voucher for a $7.50 towards other entree items and pay difference and any tax. Nice idea! Gone all day so back later to hotel. Breakfast again Sunday morning; same routine. They had a large breakfast group Sunday morning and all not people staying at hotel. So local come for the breakfast as well! We had been there before so I knew there was a little bench/sitting area outside of the bathroom. So after using the bathroom, I thought it would be the perfect little area to decompress and take a little break and have a couple snacks so go sit down on the bench get our snacks out put them on a little table start eating them five minutes later the door that separates the area to the wedding venue section opened up, and I hear this lady talking to a woman with a child and a man explaining to them that they can change their child's diaper on the bench.......that was already occupied by myself and my child.....and she continued to explain it to them AFTER she saw us sitting on the bench. I have nothing against the other mom. She was just doing what she was told. But with that being said, I have changed my child's diaper in weird locations and there was a diaper changing station in the bathroom 10 feet away with no line. So at that point it became extremely awkward for everybody involved. I tell my child to hurry up and finish his food and collect his garbage which felt like minutes, but was probably only 30 seconds with the other family still hovering over us waiting for us to get up. He asked me why we had to leave and I didn't answer him. I had no problem with the other family. Maybe they didn't know there was a changing table in the bathroom, once again, they were just doing what they were told. BUT in my opinion, they never should have been told that. The other lady basically kicked us out of the spot. We were already well established at. Out of the almost 7 years that I have been going to fun activities basically every weekend with my child I have never been disrespected like that. Now with that being said, I do not believe it was her original intention to do so, but I would like for her to know that she did offended me and maybe next time see if the bench is already occupied and provide another location. Maybe double check if there is a line for the bathroom first. Yes I know it is a first world problem. But I have been thinking about this since Mother's Day. We can call this review constructive criticism...... but maybe not so that again.

They offered made to order breakfast each morning with an efficient system and plenty of options while reducing food waste, which I appreciated. The bathroom had a separated space for the sink and mirror which was great for saving time getting ready. The fridge was also really handy and they had reasonable rates for food and drinks (including Spotted Cow!) in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and offered great recommendations. We would absolutely stay here again next time we're in town!

The price was fantastic and it was a comfortable and clean place for us to lay our heads at night. We were not disturbed by other guests at night. The air conditioner was loud and the mini fridge would hum or turn on/off periodically but after the first night we got used to the noise. Our 1-year-old slept soundly regardless. The complimentary breakfast was nice - we ordered the English muffin egg sandwiches each morning along with some sides. The portions are small, but nothing was wasted. They also served Door County coffee which is a local Wisconsin made coffee. There is a lovely outdoor seating area off the kitchen and another outdoor patio space in the front. The property was clean, and we liked the nautical theme - very on point for Manitowoc. The location was perfect for us as we did not want to be in the heart of Manitowoc. It's close to everything you need including the downtown, eateries, and a Wal-Mart. The workout room was under construction when we stayed here. There is a game room with a large shuffleboard also on the property. We would stay here again if the price was the same - it was a great deal. We paid about $93 (plus tax) a night when we stayed in May 2025.

We had a beautiful night of fishing and the guys tried extra hard to put us on the fish and it worked. My 16 year old was able to land a 20 plus pound salmon to cap the night off after a 25 minute fight. We had the greatest time and plan to be back again with this boat and crew.
