Aerated my lawn the day after a full day of rain. Big chunks of yard are torn up all over the yard. It's a big mess. This is unacceptable. If it's too wet then the aeration should have been rescheduled. I will never use this company again or recommend them to anyone. read more

They sprayed my neighbors property and decided to spray up to 4 feet into my property through the fence. They sprayed the area that I had just planted grass seed. They sprayed in my flower bed. They sprayed in my garden area that never gets chemicals. It was not an accident nor wind drift. read more

We have used weed man for many years. I'm just fed up. My lawn has had a lot of weeds all summer. At one point I called them to come out to treat the weeds between visits and they caused significant damage to the grass. When I asked about it I received no followup whatsoever and no apology. No one has ever contacted me about it or discussed repairs. The customer service is dreadful - it's like they don't care whether or not they keep my business. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

bad service, killed a 3 x 2 foot spot in yard (I do not know why), weeds everywhere which is what I had hired them for in the first place. lots of bald spots, the lawn looks worse than before they started servicing it. I used them one year on a prepaid contract. While much of my new house lawn improved - they missed several large areas of grass, which were not treated at all. I called and complained. Then in November, the company had the audacity to auto renew me as a subscriber. I called and cancelled right away. I will NEVER use their service again. It's a joke! I can't recommend Weed Man enough. I was sad to leave my lawn at our previous house, as they helped it get to a lush green. Their services also came out to help kill grubs one year and army worms another year. I'm looking forward to having them at our new house so we can be the envy of the neighborhood again. read more

Weed Man has on more than one occasion "accidentally" misquoted prices to me based on my yard size. Since the initial quote I felt was too high I requested to only do a partial section of my yard. When getting a quote to get some aeration done I got one quote. With a call 5 minutes later saying he got the price wrong and it was roughly $30 more. Honest mistake, I was ok with that. But I DID ask several times this is based on the entire yard and not just the front and sides. The gentleman on the phone said yes, the entire yard. 30 minutes later I get a call saying he misquoted again and the job was way more than double the corrected quote. I don't have time to deal with all of this indecisiveness. My front and sides don't look any better than they did before Weed Man started working on it this past spring. You be the judge. I was referred to The Weedman by a neighbor who had wonderful results with them. She told me they called before they came out and if I was not happy with the service they would come out and make it right. I established an account and was contacted on Fri, 05 Apr that they would be at my home next Monday to do the Early Spring Fertilizer treatment. I ran out that Saturday morning out and rented an aerator and purchased 60 pounds of grass seed to aerate and overseed my lawn. Aeration and seeding was completed on Saturday lawn was being watered twice a day. I returned home on Monday and found that the Weedman had been there are treated the lawn. I called and informed them and their response was that they were not informed about the aeration and seeding. My answer is anyone in the lawn care business would see the plugs left by the aeration and the seeds still visible on the ground. The gentleman that I spoke to said he spoke to the office manager relayed the message to me "let's wait and see if anything germinates and we will go forward from there". Nothing germinated. I called The Weedman back, spoke to the office manager and she told me that when they left the message for me on Fri, 05 Apr saying that they would be there next Monday that really meant this Monday, 08 Apr and I should have known that. Bottom line, they took ZERO responsibility for the situation. What do you think? read more

The reviews didn't allow for a half star, so I am forced to give them one. This is my first year with them and my last ! They treated my lawn for weeds and I have weeds growing, throughout my yard, so I called them over two weeks ago, about the problem and they said to wait two weeks for the weeds to die off, BS ! I have always treated my own yard and I know that weeds will begin to die within three or four days at the most. I also have some crabgrass, even though they treated my lawn for crabgrass back in the spring. I paid $75 extra to treat my yard for what they said was Redleaf, but I know it was dollar spot, well, their treatment didn't improve my yard one bit. Save your money, I am disgusted and that is an understatement !! read more

Mid last summer I had a 2 ft by 3 ft area of my front lawn die. After contacting Weed Man, they cam out and looked and said it was due to spilt fertilizer. But evidently, the person applying it didn't notice or didn't feel it was worth mentioning at the time. They eventually fixed it but now that same area is drying up and the grass is dying again. I told them before I pay then $300 to overseed I wanted them to come out and look at that same area. While conversing with their service manager on the area and the cause, he tole me I was the most anooying customer they have and when I asked him if he wanted to let the office know he told me that or if he wanted me to he told me the office already knows it. Not sure of the purpose for letting me know that but I read that loud as clear that, as customer of theirs for six years, I am not apprecidated so I immediately called to terminate services. I use to love Weed Man at our old house and could pick and choose what we want serviced on our yard. Since moving to a new house and speaking with Logan, if you don't buy the whole package they price gouge you for aeration, $145 + as opposed to $75 with the total package. I do not need the whole yard treated for weeds as we only have a couple pop ups. I just wanted the yard fertilized and aerated but am not going to be forced into a package and products that I do not need. Not a great business model and they lost me as a customer which is a shame because they did such a nice job on our former house in Dublin. read more

**EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT AND EMBARRASSING EXPERIENCE*** Charged me amount of 2 applications although I didn't place an order. They starts applying applications unless you don't say do not want service instead saying I want the service. It is like they just sold their products and charge customer since I didn't say no from their quotation and confirmation contact which neither I did not received!!! (Weed Man claims they sent and gave me automated call for confirmation which requires "NO" to stop them.) After 14 minutes of phone calls, they ended up reducing the total amount in half, but it is still unexpected payment to me. Even they didn't kill my weed after they applied chemical!!!!! I called them the very next day telling them I didn't hire or want their service. They charged me for their service and requested payment by harassing me with multiple phone calls. I talked to manager but they believe because they sent me a letter that said renewal notice I was made aware of their auto renew policy. I asked if anyone from my household approved treatment on my lawn and they admitted no. Their company's stance is so moronic it would not surprise me if bankruptcy is in their near future. read more
