Dr. Wolfe, for reasons I'll likely never know, nearly cost me my life. He prescribed medications…read moreand failed to warn me about other OTC medication and food interactions. When I confronted him about that, after a team of ER doctors spent hours on me and I had a six day stay in ICU, he said I should have googled the medication. So I did. And I learned that he was to have been conducting quarterly blood tests. He never did a single blood test. That was the most dramatic and life-threatening of his errors or misses in my care, but there are others. Fortunately, I started relying heavily on specialists and they caught most of the things that Dr. Wolfe should have been doing, catching, and acting on. I would not trust him or any Practicioner at One Medical with my health. They seem too focused on attracting new members and securing insurance reimbursements, in my opinion, to have the bandwidth to adequately care for the needs of their existing patients.

First let me say - I am and "experienced" patient (17 major surgeries and many other tests and…read morebiopsies over the past 20 years), so I'm really tired and VERY skeptical of doctors and the medical profession in general. I recently switched from 15 years with Kaiser, back to Blue Cross, so I had to replace about 10 docs and thank goodness for Dr. Wolfe! I met him last week for the first time and I was SO impressed. He's very knowledgeable, he's not intimidated by my questions (or all the "stuff" going on with me), he's open minded, he was a pain doc for 6 years (so he gets THAT part of my treatment) and overall, he's a very likable guy - I can't recommend him more highly (keeping my fingers crossed that I'm not putting him on a "too soon" pedestal - but I don't think so). The ONLY downsides are the whole "Med One" $200 annual fee for "special" things that really, all docs are offering now-a-days, and the fact that Med One isn't on either of the 2 main electronic medical systems in my area (UCSF and Sutter), so I have to make sure they get all my labs and doc notes from EVERY other doc....which in my personal case, is a big PITA. That being said, I really feel like I have a good doc now who can be the leader of my team and really help coordinate all my issues - before, it was only me, bringing things to docs and trying to figure it out on my own, so YEA!!!!

Recently Dr. Murphy has been on my mind because I lost my mom, brother and aunt in May to COVID…read more Dr. Murphy was a young doctor at UCLA and I was going through some really difficult health issues and he was my hero. We lost touch when he moved up North but I can honestly say he was the best doctor and I really doubt he has changed. I would so love to connect with him again to just say "hello". I was working in TV production for years and have been a psychotherapist in Pasadena for over 12 yrs. I read some of these reviews and have no idea how he has been doing since the 90's but I do know how the medical field has changed and how it's impossible with insurance companies and agencies, schools... so much about the bottom dollar and we are losing great doctors. So Tim if you read this, I wanted to say hello and hope you are doing well, staying safe from COVID. It's been a nightmare for my family but thanks to you suggested therapy with Janina so many years ago, I have learned resiliency. I can't believe I became a therapist. If you or a staff of yours sees this, please contact me to say hello. 818-395-8066 Joanne (Diaz) Koegl

If anyone is looking for DR. MURPHY, he is in Mill Valley…read more It's awful what has happened with the moving around from Prima that became UCSF and then back to Sutter; he's back in private practice and taking new patients. When I went to his new office he was greeted by every patient with hugs, tears and gratitude; Dr. Murphy didn't abandon his patients as these large companies would have you believe. I hope he can reclaim his NAME on YELP. Here's the information for his office: Lynnette, We are moving! Effective March 2nd, 2020 the office will be located at 279 Miller Avenue in Mill Valley.
