When I arrived at the Cape after a week of hard work, I realized that I had huge blisters on the top of my feet. I was hopping around from store to store trying to find some kind of sandals or shoes that I could wear that wouldn't keep hitting the part of my foot that hurt. I tried Nauset Surf, knowing they carry sandals, and before I committed to some loose-fitting sanuks, I decided just to check out the leather shop across the parking lot, and thank god I did. I hopped over on one foot (drawing many looks from other people) and into the store. Two very friendly women (I forgot to ask your names, I'm so sorry!) immediately asked how they could help, so I explained my situation. One of them got right to work looking all over for pairs of sandals to bring to me to compare next to my foot, and the other gave me excellent advice on how to treat it, prevent it from getting worse, and from happening again. In the end, we found a really nice pair of Tevas which were the only size left in that model, and it perfectly avoided my sore spot. Bonus, they were on sale for only 19 bucks. Honestly, I wish it had been a little more so I could have supported them more. I'll definitely be returning next time I'm up here! Thanks so much for helping me out!
