We like to stop by here on the weekends some times and look at some of the nice used cars they offer. When we saw online that they had a used Audi A3 diesel, my husband was excited because he's always liked those. We checked it out on a Sunday when the dealership was closed and could see it was very nice. Based on the Carfax report, it had also been well maintained. He contacted the dealer the next week and we made an appointment to test drive the car. Our sales rep was very nice and low pressure. We drove the car and liked it but had a set price in mind that they couldn't quite meet at the time, so we parted as friends and left it at that. A couple of days later, we got a call and they were able to get closer to our price and it seemed reasonable, so we went ahead and said "let's buy it". We were able to do most everything remotely, so we signed the purchase contract and sent the payment all via the internet. The only thing left to do was to pick up the car and sign the paperwork to get the registration/title paperwork done. It was fast and easy! I'm not sure how fast but I know that I didn't get to the train station in Brewster until 5:35 and then we drove to Danbury and signed the papers and were driving off in the car by 6:01, so that was pretty fast. Loved that there was no pressure for add-ons or being trapped in the room with some finance guy. Really a pleasant experience. The staff at the dealership was nice and they always have very interesting cars (I would have loved the BMW convertible but that was out of our price range!). We recommend Weeks Pre-Owned. read more

Oh dear, I needed a car. I was buying a car for the first time in over 10 years. I have not even owned a car in 8 years (living in Manhattan). I was shopping for a certified pre-owned Audi Q5. I had called around dealers, used the usual car search sites, and also went into some showrooms. Once I started getting offer sheets and started negotiating, there always seemed to be something not quite right. I felt like something was missing and I was not getting a good deal. Enter Weeks pre-owned and everything changed. I worked with Derek who had exactly what I was looking for in stock. He was a very upbeat and positive guy. I am a fan of Weeks Pre-Owned center. I've bought two Audis from them. A We bought a Q-3 for my wife and a Q-5 for me. Rich Medla, our salesman is the most pleasant and professional I've ever dealt with. He gets a five-star rating from me. The reason I don't give them a higher rating is because their Finance Manager, Scott Litt lied to me about some paperwork that was a part of my purchase agreement. We paid both of our car loans off well in advance and I wanted to get a rebate on the gap insurance that was part of both purchase agreements. I knew that this was the norm having done it on another car a couple years ago and because it was part of our paperwork. Scott Litt told me "I never heard of such a thing and I've been doing this for more than 20 years". In my opinion, somebody who's having you sign paperwork for a 20, 40, or 50 thousand dollar purchase better be as honest as the day is long. I don't feel good about my experience with Scott. If you buy a car from Weeks, please do buy it from Rich Medla. I would not however get involved in any financing with Scott. read more

We recently purchased a certified pre-owned 2018 Audi A5 convertible with just 12,000 miles on it at Weeks. We saw the vehicle on a Thursday early evening, left a deposit and arranged to pick the vehicle up Saturday at 10:00. We arrived at 10:00 am sharp, super excited to get the paperwork signed and get the keys. Derek Smith, our sales guy, took us out to the car and it much to our surprise the car was filthy, dead bugs all over to the front bumper and grill, smear marks where is looked like someone basically hosed it off and wiped it down, the inside was dusty on the dash and in the vents. On Thursday when we left a deposit it was pouring out and we knew the car needed a detail, they had all Friday and Saturday am to assure it was done. Derek was equally surprised and said how embarrassed he was. He said he was going to get the detailer out immediately to take care of it. After sometime waiting with no results he went to speak to his sales manager's and came back out and assured us he was working on it, he asked if we had time to wait, keep in mind that we live in Middletown and with no traffic it is a an 70/75 minute drive one way, we agreed to wait. After another 20 minutes sitting outside waiting for the detailer, sales manager or anyone for that matter to clean the car we decided to leave. I went back inside and found Derek sitting in his managers office. They said the detailer was not answering his cell phone, they offered for us to bring the car back another time. I explained that we were not traveling 2 1/2 hours to get the car detailed and that resolution was not acceptable. We paid $225 to have the car detailed. A few days later we received an email from Joe Catanese thanking us for the purchase and assuring us complete customer satisfaction. I am sure it was an auto-generated email because it never addressed or apologized for what happened. I responded with our displeasure and copied Derek in, Derek called shortly thereafter and thanked me for the email and said that two detailers were fired for the incident, he again wanted us to drive back down to Danbury for a detail, we declined, we told him that it was not acceptable and would be happy if they just reimbursed us for the detail. Now the second issue, we inquired where the windscreen was for the car, Derek originally said on Thursday when we looked at it that it was in the trunk, we checked and it was not, he then told us that the car didn't come with one because it wasn't on the original sticker, we believed him but thought it was odd because the car is equipped with a Premium Plus and Luxury Package with every option available. We went to Wallingford Audi last week to order it and when they looked up the vin# they said the car did come with it as a standard item with that car, that pacakge. When we asked Derek about it he said that the dealership was sabotaging them which was far from accurate, they were simply trying to save us the money of ordering one when the car did in fact come with it. We paid $48,000 for the car, original sticker was $$62,000, we never thought we needed to inspect the car before signing the paperwork, we previously purchased from Danbury Audi and they were great. I would never purchase from Weeks Pre-Owned again and would NOT recommend them to anyone. read more

Without a doubt the worst interaction I have ever had with a car dealer. I made an offer online and they agreed to my offer price with the demand I include their Ceramic coat fee of $699. Knowing this was a scam (Goggle it if you doubt me) I rejected that fee being added. I then revised my offer by increasing it by $400 if they took off that ceramic coating charge. Hours went by didn't get a reply and having left texts Rich the salesman finally responds saying management hasn't got back with him either. This is Friday afternoon for them, and I am 3 hours earlier on PST. I tell Rich I had a doctor's appointment and will be back in an hour. I get no reply. Same thing rest of the weekend. Monday I check to see if car is still available (Still listed everywhere) nobody will reply to me. Tuesday i use my 2nd Email to see if car is still available and get an auto reply that it is still available by the sales manager. I reply to him directly listing the same steps as in this review. Still no reply. The most unprofessional dealership on the planet. If you have to buy a car from them offer $700 less than you planned so they can't scam you with their spray bottle ceramic coat job! read more

When I arrived they told me my sales guy was on vacation and someone else could help me. Long story short....car had a 7-10 inch gauge/scratch on the front quarter panel! I dealt with New Country Audi in Greenwich and Weeks Audi in Danbury. My Weeks-Danbury experience was totally professional. My experience with New Country Audi was a nightmare. Kim Christianson was my sales-person at weeks. He was low-key and extremely knowledgeable, yet didn't overwhelm with information. Everything was smooth and professional. I got the right car at the right place at a fair price. Meanwhile, I had made an appointment with Vivian at New Country to see an A-4 they'd advertised on line. I drove down an hour to keep the appointment--arrived exactly on time to encounter NO CAR. I saw pictures on line, but there was no car at the dealership. And no contact from them warning me off of a 3 hour waste of time. Who does business like that? Who has so little disregard for a prospect who is going to buy a car that week??? So the point of this is that people who get good service, and the treatment they expect don't tend to write reviews. People who feel burned and who get angry do. For a used car lot, these guys are pretty good. Sales is pretty low pressure, and test driving a car was not a hassle. I bought a CPO'd A4 from them about 4 years ago, and it's been great; excellent service at the dealer's service center, and I'm still driving the car today. My only real complaint about these guys is it seems that they don't get in a lot of higher end trade-ins (S4, S5, TT, etc), and their website isn't that great. Called about a car and was happy that they were willing to negotiate over the phone. The sale price was reasonable and we headed down there a couple days later. Test drove the car and started the paperwork and this is where it falls apart. They wanted a $500 deposit, even though we were already there and doing the paperwork. I asked if it was refundable, which they said it was, but the paper work says in big red letters "deposit not refundable". I told them I didn't feel comfortable with that because I have read nightmare stories about leaving a deposit and for whatever reason the sale falls through and people never get the deposit back. I said it is more than reasonable to accept $100-$200 as a deposit, they refused. I told them it baffles me that they are willing to lose a sale over this. I have bought many cars and explained to them I had even left a refundable $100 deposit on a car in New Jersey and had no problems. I can only suspect that they do this as a way to inflate the interest rate on the car loan and force you into accepting the terms and if not, they made a pretty $500. read more

Buying a car should not be this much work. This dealer is a shining example of what gives used car dealers a bad name so watch them like hawks and double-check everything. They give you friendly, prompt service but while doing so, will nickle and dime you at every turn. First, they will tell you they are able to find you the best financing options but I was able to find a MUCH lower interest rate on my own in less than 5 min. And then then had the audacity to try to convince me to go with the higher quote. Clearly they're getting a kick-back. Second, insist on an itemized invoice. I had to ask 2 different people a total of 5 times and threaten to walk away from the deal to get one. Third, their registration and documentation fees are egregiously high so be sure to ask about them and factor that into your deal. Fourth, double-check all the documentation at closing. Even after confirming the loan terms with me, paperwork showed entirely different terms. And lastly, be sure you're getting all the benefits of your CPO Warranty. The last point on the Audi CPO Warranty states, "Your car is clean and fully fueled." The car had a half a tank of gas. I'll leave it to you to decide whether a dealer who conveniently made so many slips accurately performed the 300+ point inspection and certification process but for me, it was the last straw to a truly miserable experience. read more
