Our dishwasher broke down. I called Mr Weeman and got right through. They scheduled me for the next morning. He arrived right on time. He spent around 2 hours on it and found the drain pump had a piece of chipped glassware preventing it from draining. He could have probably told us we needed a new pump if he wasn't honest as I suspected that was the problem based on online videos and my own lack of success doing preliminary cleaning. But he tested it out and it worked fine. Wrapped up the job and charged us a very reasonable fee that to me seemed about half of what I thought reasonable. Absolutely, horrible company. I was scheduled for in-home appliance repair and they were a no call and no show. When we tried to call to find out if the technician would be coming the phone just kept ringing and no one ever answers the phone, which is extremely unprofessional. read more

They are terrible. We have a rental property here at Kennebunk Beach ME. The ice maker in the fridge was broken. Of course, we had to wait days for a part. They came on a Thursday to install, but did not hook up the water in the back of the fridge. So it leaked onto the floor for a day and a half before the damage was found. Water was over over kitchen floor and went down to a bedroom and bath on floor below. We called Servpro and they were there in an hour. They had to cut a hole in the bathroom ceiling and bedroom to dry it out with all of their machines. Our insurance company came to view the damage. The total cost of fixing this was $12,000. Mr. Weeman is an honest, reputable local serviceman. Unlike another appliance repair business in town, he will not work on your appliance unless it's truly broken, and will give you the most economical price available. He has come out a couple of times for my dryer & recommended I use a different setting rather than work on it, & he didn't charge me for the visit! He will usually get to your job within a couple of days (good servicemen are busy!). I highly recommend this local, family owned & operated business. read more

They are USELESS!!! Al came out and could not figure out what was wrong with our microwave. Said let's try changing out a door sensor switch. He said he would be back with part next week. NO word for a week and a half. Called 2x and never returned calls. Finally called Whirlpool as this is a brand new microwave. Al had not even ordered the part. I told them I refuse to use them going forward and they are making whirlpool look bad. They found me another service company. This is NOT the Weeman's my parents used for so many years. I have a Kitchen Aid dishwasher. The top rack broke. Lowe's initially contacted On Broadway appliance repair out of Dover, NH. Nearly 2 weeks later they still hadn't come to the house. However, I then called Lowe's and complained; so they sent me to Weeman's in Kennebunk. I received an appointment the next business day which was Monday. Mr Weeman ordered the part immediately and just repaired it this morning, Wednesday, just 2 days later same week. So I am thrilled! Very pleasant and diligent people run this business.
