The conversation was loud enough for customers to hear, and the way she spoke to the other employee came across as reprimanding, disrespectful, and unnecessarily harsh. It made the entire office uncomfortable. It seemed like the rest of the staff was trying to carry on as if nothing was happening, but it was difficult to ignore. As a customer, I don't expect to witness internal workplace conflicts while I'm conducting business. It gave me little confidence in the professionalism of the office, especially knowing customers were being exposed to conversations that should have been handled privately. I work in customer service myself, and I understand that difficult situations happen. However, there's a professional way to address coworkers, regardless of the circumstances. The interaction I overheard came across as mean-spirited and inappropriate for a workplace, especially in front of customers. Ironically, the rest of the staff was wonderful. They were friendly, professional, and made the experience much better despite the uncomfortable atmosphere. They deserve recognition for maintaining their composure. Each month I call in my payment for my vehicle and home owner insurance. When i called in the same date of the month i usually call in. In April Omar had a new young girl answering the phone. I told her I wanted to make a payment. She was too lazy or didn't know how to do phone payments.. so she told me that i was all paid up until May 20th. I didn't understand how that was possible.so i asked her at least 4 times if she was sure. Because i didn't understand how i didn't owe a payment for the month of April. She said she couldn't accept a payment since there wasn't any payment due.so i hesitantly said ok. and hung up. So In May i called to pay my regular payment. And I was told by the person who i usually pay my bill to. He said i didn't pay for April so now I'm owing for Two months. Which was totally out my budget. I tried explaining to the clerk that the previous person refused to accept my payment for April and said i didn't owe anything until May. So i asked to speak to Omar and he was very rude and unprofessional and unconcerned about the girl giving his customer wrong information. I wouldn't recommend this Agent to my worst enemy!
