Like most other Wegmans, this location is great. Competitive prices, great quality, and the store is always clean. They added a liquor store here, but honestly, better prices and selection can be had at Joe Canals. My only complaint is that the checkout lines tend to be long and they don't do the best job replenishing the shelves on sale items. Overall, it's a great place to go grocery shopping. read more

We have shopped at Wegman's since the store opened both for groceries and Rx items. Since the recent "downturn" in the grocery dept. has become more of a reason not to shop there it seems the pharmacy is following the same trend. I always call days in advance of a needed refill and always am told ..... " We need to order that in." Since we do grocery shopping and Rx pick-up at the same time this often causes an extra trip. Round trip is 30 miles and not " just around the block." Sad to see what was a great store with all the amenities fall apart ! Really gone downhill over the years. Produce quality is not what it was years past (which was the main reason I shopped there.) They also sacrificed half of the seating in the cafe (which was hard enough to find a spot to sit and eat at lunchtime) to put in a wine section. Bad move. Coffee bar specialty drinks and prepared foods bars are ridiculously over priced. On my most recent trip to purchase a bouquet, we had to track down someone in floral, asked if we could get a bouquet with a vase (she grabbed one off the shelf and handed it to us.) I kind of expected her to put the items together, hey even throw in a ribbon and upcharge us. But no. We went home and did our own floral design. It's like the employees just don't care anymore. what can I say, there is nothing not to love about their pharmacy service. I had 4 strokes and on at least 8 different drugs. Let me list all of the reasons why they are awesome. 1. If I have no more refills, they automatically call my physicians and take care of getting a new prescription. 2. When a prescription is filled and ready for pickup, I get a text indicating the drug and any cost. 3, If there are any changes, a Pharmacist reviews them with me. If I could only shop in one grocery store for the rest of my life, I'd choose Wegmans; and I've lived in several states!!! This store is 100% top-notch perfection in every.single.way. Their sushi is the best in town, their pizza is too, ok maybe tied for first. Their cheese...omg...their cheese!! I love cheese and Wegmans is everything you want in your wildest cheese dreams. Whether you are looking for cheese to impress the queen of England, or an affordable mix of things for a picnic, you will not be disappointed. Seriously. They have a great bulk section with everything from cous cous to candies, loads of dairy options. Frozen foods, sodas, pharmacy etc. but what sets them apart, that I haven't already mentioned, is their home goods, bakery, hoagie/sub counter, produce, beer/wine....and my favorites: imported isle and hot food deli sections. If you are looking for something from England, Asia, India... you'll probably find it in this section. So many times I've needed one ingredient I can't find anywhere, order it online, then slap my forehead when of course, it's at Weggies. Their hot food section, well, everything you could want.
