I purchased a chandelier medallion for $140 from them and when I went to return it I was told that it was an accessory and all accessories items are final sale/non-returnable. When I ordered the item it did not say final sale/no returns. Customer Service said the returns area of their web site mentions it so they feel that sufficiently covers them. So they definitely didn't gain a repeat customer and I'll tell ten friends, and so on. If this review keeps at least 1 person from purchasing from them that will be worth my $140. read more

We were unhappy with the quality of the light received. We had just partially unwrapped the box to check it out and repacked it exactly how it was delivered. There is no reason to not resell this light bar. I ordered this light through WalMart, thinking a return would be easy. My mistake, for not reading the fine print. No returns to Walmart from purchasing from this vendor. Okay. I get that. I contacted WeGotLites to receive the return procedures. I paid $192.60 for the light fixture. Paid $62.32 to ship it back and was charged a $66.00 RESTOCKING FEE! Seriously! Their policy states there "may" be a restocking fee. Well considering the circumstances and the fact that the light had just been looked at and repacked exactly as shipped, I feel a $66.00 restocking fee is terribly unfair. I will never do business with this company again and would warn anyone to keep whatever you purchase, because if you return it, you may not get back what you paid. This company does not provide good customer service. We ordered a product on 12/7 for Christmas . We felt we had ordered in plenty of time based on information on their web site we were led to believe that we would receive the product in 3 to 10 business days. Our product will not be here until 12/28. Customer service could actually care less and made no attempt to see if they could get us the product by Christmas. This was an Amazon order and we were directed via that site. We received no communication from the company and needed to track down the status. read more

Very disappointed in their lack of customer service is right. They don't tell you that the fixtures do not come with instructions. Not only do they not come with instructions but they will give you an electrician who wants an obscene amount of money to hang the fixtures. I purchased several fixtures which I do love. I purchased the largest one was the spiral rail drop on 6ft long. Well it came missing strings and balls. Then it took them months to get someone out to repair it. Then it still wasn't correct so I received a messages saying the manufacturer said there was a defect and they would replace it well two years later they never did. They had an electrician come and turn it around. It has since lost a string and balls. They refuse to answer emails or calls. Messaged Josh and he blocked me off Facebook. All I wanted was a beautiful fixture never asked for a dime back. Love all four pieces I purchased. The other ones are fine just wanted my big one to be perfect instead a got a lemon and they won't make good on the exchange. I guess I will try civil court at this point but just want a fixture I don't want the money. Very upsetting. read more

Wegotlites.com has the absolute worst customer service, and the most dishonest business practices I have ever experienced. I had to contact the company about the status of my order since I never received any shipping confirmation emails after almost a month of waiting. They kept pushing out the shipment date every time I made contact with them. At this point I canceled my order thinking the item would never ship. I received my refund several days later except it was $150 short. When I called to find out why, they claimed they sent me a free gift (which I never received) and that they were charging me for it. The agent then clamied this would be escalated to management and they would call me back with the resolution. Countless times I was promised call backs within a days time but have never received one call from this company. Since I was concerned about my refund, I called them back numerous times only to be spoken to rudely and given the run around (managers on lunch, in meetings, left for the day, etc...). It started to get to the point where the customer service department knew who I was and would yell "we will call you back, and quit calling" before hanging up the phone. After 3 weeks of trying to get an answer from this company, I have never been able to speak to anyone but a customer service agent. I highly recommend choosing a different company even if it means paying more. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Comission, and my credit card company. Don't give up if you are getting nowhere with a company! There are other options! Maybe we can run companies as terrible as this one out of business with enough complaints. I am completely unsatisfied with this company and their products! I ordered 3 crystal pendants from them about 2 years ago. One blew out and stopped working after a year. I sent it and and they fixed it, but a 2nd one stopped working about a month afterwards. The product is obviously of very poor quality. It is too coincidental that 2 would stop working. I called them to complain and they told me to send it in. They now want to charge me $75 for them to fix it...unreal! They have my pendant and I just told them to send it back to me. I will not give this company another dollar. I rather throw the whole set in the garbage...what a waste of money. I am waiting for the 3rd one to break any day now. The manager on the phone was also very rude and blamed the blowout and using an incorrect light bulb rather than their product, which is not true. The worst experience ever! I ordered 2 crystal chandeliers from this company and used an expert Design person to help me. She explained the crystal I was going to get and they came today only to be the worst quality crystal I have ever seen. I called because there were not directions in the box,no invoice, nothing. I called and asked how to install them because there was no white/black wires. They said they would call me back. NO CALL BACK! The first time I called the girl hung up on me. I had to call 3 times to ask them to send me my invoice and tracking which they said they would be didnt'. They came today and the quality is the worst crystal ever, chipped and cloudy. I have a $40 GLASS chandelier in my home and the quality is better and clearer and they are trying to tell me its glass the european crystal is cloudy. Never said a word on it coming chipped and cloudy and I used their designer. Its the worst customer service ever, they refuse to send you any paper work, call you back, send a tracing number anything. They just take your money and try to upgrade you to there most expensive crystal but after seeing this I wouldn't belive that that's what you would get. I will never buy from this company again and I would never ever reccomend them to anyone. I called to ask how to return them and they said well you will have to pay the shipping back plus a 25% restocking fee. Thats half of what I paid for this product. And on top of that its all factory done. So I ordered two on the same day and I only recieved one and the other one is coming a week later which I was told would only take 5 business days. It's been over 3 hours and no call back on how to install this chandelier so now I had to call my contractor to come and help me out. This company makes promises on their website but does not honor them. Never again! NO instructions, NO invoice nothing in the box just a piece of paper with some pictures nothing on how to install it and when I called they hung up on me 3 times. You can get better quality at other places who stand behind their products as for this place STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! LIke I said I talked to a designer who told me to buy these and that the crystal would be clear and that it just wouldn't sparkle like the more expensive one they wanted me to upgrade to so I have ALL of her convesations we had printed out since I talked to her via chat. If my next chandelier comes and its the same way I will be taking further action on this company. I have the proof. I spent almost $300.00 on these lights so to be treated like shit is just wrong. Also they were chips from the crystal that was in the paper and I got a piece of it in my finger and was bleeding all over the place. I purchased a crystal chandelier and spot lights from this place after checking all the local store prices I found they were way cheaper. I made a long trip to the place and purchased the item. The Russian girl over their didn't provide freindly service, but I was happy with the price and knew what I needed so purchased the lights. A year later I reliesed that I didn't need the spotlights and I called Eliezer the boss who is very nice and gave me an extension on the return policy which is a year and gave me a store credit. Also the lighting has to be assembled by the customer but it comes with instructions which are easy to follow. read more

They wanted me to confirm my address which I promptly did and then they sent me 8 emails still asking me to confirm my address. These people are amateurs. wow, what scam artists. they advertsise that they are wholesale distributors of lighting to the public-- what a crock of s**t! first of all, i found these people online, and i did some shopping on there. i called them to ask them some questions and found to see they were nearby where i live. right off the bat, the lady on the phone was rude, careless and she was extremely pushy! she harrased me to give her my phone number and name, etc. i didn't and just said i will be there soon to look around (guess they work on comisson, its just so obvious). so, i make my way to this "showroom" which is in the middle of nowhere and in such a horrible enviorment i don't even know how i got out of my car. anyways, i walked in and was suprised how it looked. crystal everywhere and over-the-top decorating. if they want to make this place look like a cheap warehouse (like it looks from outside) im not sure why they designed it thinking they were in manhattan, def. wasnt! anyhow, i was immediately harassed by this really pushy sales lady (sounded like who i spoke to on the phone?) and i just wanted to look before i needed her. i wondered around to find not such a large selection (nothing like their online selection) and prices missing on half the price tags. every time i asked for a price, she went to the computer and did some numbers on the calculator and told me--- whatever! i ended up finding something i thought was ok-priced and needed to ask a few questions. she had absolutely no idea what she was talking about and realy wasn't interested in anything but taking my money. i bought the item, despire her persistance and lack of knowledge about lighting in general-- but asked if it didn't fit or work out if i can return it. she made it seem like it was a "hassle free" return if i needed to bring it back. well, why would i trust a thing this woman had to say? i'm not sure but i did. nevertheless, i brought the item home and decided to do some research with the actual item number online to see if it was cheaper. and sure enough, i found it about $200 less everywhere on the internet! i thought this place was "wholesale prices to the public". i called the woman the same evening, and she was extremely rude and said it was too bad. she hung up on me after i basically heard her rolling her eyes thru the phone. i went back to the store when they opened the next morning with my husband. i found that this lame security guard they had at the desk paged this woman for me to come downstairs (i guess this place isn't busy enough to have more than one sales person, nor a sales person in the actual store, they hide upstairs until $$ walks thru the door), and she wouldn't come down. they said she was busy (maybe eating?!)... so i asked for a manager or the owner. clearly, this place doesn't care about their business, their reputation, and most importantly- their customers because the owner was clearly too busy for this, as well. i didn't want to return the item, just get an adjustment like any good store owner would do. they refused and i couldn't even speak to management or any other sales person in there. this place treats their customers poorly, has a faciscious way of going about their business and does not reflect their advertisements that they are cheap! please, for your own good, shop elsewhere! read more

No stars! Absolutely the worst site I've ever shopped at online. First, it took 14 days to get the wall sconces... only to discover they were made of plastic. Their description in no way stated they were made of plastic. Needless to say, I was displeased and wanted to return them. After a lenghthy discussion.. the supervisor was very adamant to convey that "its our policy". I can't describe the aggravation and frustration it was to deal with this company. How can a business not take responsibility for their products and the products they represent? If a customer has a legitimate complaint, it is the duty and the professional responsibility of the vendor to make it right. I didn't want them to give me anything for free. I just wanted to return my product and get my money back. The supervisor "Samantha" insisted that it was their policy and she couldn't do anything (25% restocking fee). After contacting the Manufacturer, I was able to return without the restock fee ( the manufacturer absorbed the cost). However, she stated I had to pay for the shipping fee! NEVER AGAIN will I consider this company for anything. I'd rather pay more for the product than get the service I did here. Do yourself a favor and use reputable sites like Overstock and Amazon. They're great. No shipping charge and they're fast. Lesson learned. I hope this is of use to someone. read more

UPDATE. Yikes, these people have the worst customer service. After finally receiving my globe, 5 WEEKS after ordering it, I thought that I would give them another chance at being responsible and professional so I called and tried to order another globe for my client. THIS TIME, they told me that they could not honor the price that I ordered the first globe for because they had a trainee who quoted me the wrong price for the first order. So now I had to pay double for the new order? After what they put me though, almost loosing a client, sending apology letters to my client, causing me so much stress, you would think that I could get my second globe order for free and overnighted given the bad customer service I received from them! (We are taking $7 here, nothing expensive) NOPE. I was to pay the full retail price, even though it was not my fault that their trainee quoted me wrong! I give up. I will never order from them again. After 5 months of searching for the perfect pendants for our new home, we thought we found them from wegotlites.com The shipping took about 7 days, not too bad. The price was great but..... when we opened the box we realized that the blue pendants were actually quite purple and not as the website picture appeared. I have now called them 4 times trying to get customer service to direct me on the return process. I have spoke to one extremely rude person after another. They make me feel as though I am aggrevating them to request any customer service from them at all. I am not normally the person to write bad reviews but I want to stop others from wasting their time and money on this site. They are sooo very rude and I still have not got the call back that I was promised I would get to tell me how to return these Purple! pendants.
