please do not rent from this organization , we stayed at a property in Arlington VA, the building was beautiful state of the art great amenities until you open the door to the apartment , it was like going back in time. the place is roach infested, I was told maintenance people were coming the following day, they were pest control people. My family could not sleep we stayed a couple of hours had to put my bags in the car so nothing would crawl in them. Checked in at 11 pm, sat in chairs until 4 am when I was able to find other accommodations. We are still fighting for a full refund with the host, as they did not issue a full refund. VRBO or Expedia continues to tell me they are investigating after sending picture, videos and my bank statement. I am just so frustrated. to make things worst, they cancelled my reservation so I can not leave a review to warn people about this place. so if you see this advertisement do not book

I would never recommend Whost. This company does not respond and was one of the WORST experiences I have ever had! In hot Miami, the house was kept on 76 degrees, the refrigerator didn't work and spoiled our food and the stove did not work. I attempted to contact the person that introduced himself right before checkin and could not reach him until the day we checked out. His name was Rafael. Once I spoke to him, after checking out and told him the issues with the property, he said he would need speak with the supervisor. Her name was Johanne. She said I would not be refunded anything because I received assistance. This was a bold face lie. I was skeptical of the company from the beginning. No one in their website was at the phone number. They only recieve messages from WhatsApp. This company is shady and very unprofessional. If it's to good to be true, it's not! Beware of the company and they should be shut down! If I could post pictures of the spoiled fruit, I would. I'm going to report them all over social media. Oh, I can.

My friends and I booked with WeHost via Airbnb for a Miami trip. It had an odor, mold in the bathroom, leaking sinks, dirty bedding, and no key for the amenities. We kept requesting to be connected to the property manager, but they refused. After the trip, they tried to charge us twice for the missing amenity key that we kept telling them that we needed throughout the stay. When I wrote an honest review on Airbnb, it was removed. BEWARE!

How the cleaning people left it with dirty water and dirt

Worst Airbnb Company We needed to rent an Airbnb since my son was getting shoulder surgery for a football injury he had in the beginning of last year's season. So we ended up getting one from December 3-December 22,2023 in Arlington VA. Our experience was so bad I never want to stay at another Airbnb. First and last time. Since the first day we arrived they told us we couldn't go in because they were cleaning the apartment. Once we were allowed to get the key and enter it was when the nightmare started. To begin, it was supposed to be clean. My shoes were sticking to the floor because of the film on it which gave away that the floors were dirty. Dust was everywhere, the bathrooms had pubic hair everywhere, there was a bucket with a dirty wet mop in the closet, the laundry room had a horrendous smell that was a result of dirty water and a dirty mop just laying in the washer. I was so disgusted by this that I decided to look at the sheets. They were also dirty and smelly. Bottom line on the first day I had to buy cleaning supplies to clean the apartment and wash until 3am. Next day we bought groceries and realized there were no utensils, working knives, kitchen and bath towels as was stated. We ended up needing to purchase them in the hopes we. Old leave them in the dorms after we checked out. There was a leaks in the main bathroom sink and kitchen sink which we solved with towels. There was very little water pressure. Once I was able to get everything in order it was ok except for the sofa I had to sleep in so I could help my son get up from the rental recliner, which was made of rubber. Yes I slept on a rubber sofa for 3 1/2 weeks. Then to make it worse, they towed our rental because of their incompetence and they didn't reimbursed us whatsoever. Which was their fault since they were supposed to give us the parking space for almost a month. That's what we agreed and paid for. I'm just trying to warn people about this W-Host Group. I will attach as many photos as I can on the review. And hopefully this doesn't happen to another family again. Trail is paved, direct sunlight. In Jan saw over 60 gators a couple crocs. Took about 2.5 hrs with stopping to watch. Most national parks will allow you to access and pay earlier hours -- this park doesn't. This park gate opens at 8:30am, and creates a line that goes out into traffic, clearly only catering to people using the trams. We had to park on the Hwy and bike in, which was allowed but there was someone at the booth even at 730 to take money-- why not just open the parking lot early if someone is manning it anyway? To cater to the trams, which are very expensive. We were trying to enjoy watching some baby gators and the tram came up to about a foot behind us on our bikes to loudly scream over an intercom about the babies. Really takes away from the natural experience.

I am generally a fan of National Parks. The Everglades is fairly uniform and spread out over a huge…read morearea. There are multiple entrances (and perhaps visitors' centers) but we only checked out this one. Shark Valley is about an hour west of Miami on Hwy 41. En route, you pass 3 - 4 airboat tour companies that all take you near or into part of the park on their tours. That is, to me, the quintessential Everglades experience. However, you can't do that tour at the Park HQ. At Shark Valley, the main apparent draw is a large (15-mile) loop road that goes south from the highway. At the far end is some tall observation tower. You cannot drive on this road, so you have 3 options: walk it, rent a bike from the ranger station, or take a periodic tram tour (2 hours) that costs (I think) about $34. When we arrived, it was already 3 p.m. and if we took the 4 p.m. tram tour, we'd have been driving back through downtown Miami in the dark. Traffic there is scary enough in daylight, so we skipped that. They also had a boil water advisory that day (?), so we could not refill our water bottles. The ranger station was nice enough, with a few exhibits. I think the entrance fee is $20 per car. When we arrived, the lot was full so you could either wait in a short line of cars (where the let one in as one left) or park out on a wide shoulder of Hwy 41 and walk to the ranger station (probably about 1/3 of a mile one way). Depending on what sort of Everglades experience you're looking for, this may be worth a stop. Or you may just want to choose one of the airboat places instead.

There are two sections of the park, north and south. The south section bayside which I visited is on the promenade that runs along the Intracoastal. There is a paved walkway and the Aventura Community Green Garden. Residents of Aventura can lease a a 4 x 12 foot garden plot for $110 a year. The northern section of Founders Park is for Aventura residents only. There is a welcome center; a quarter-mile, four station exercise trail; ADA accessible playground; sun shelters; tennis courts, and a multipurpose athletic field for baseball, softball, football or soccer. The park is also the home of the Founders ParkSplashPad, a water play area inside the park. Admission is free for Aventura residents and non residents used to be able to pay to use this section of the park but this year they closed to anyone that does not have ID saying they live in Aventura. This is the first city park I have ever come across in Florida that is closed to non residents. This is probably a 5 star facility if you live here but if you are from outside of the city you are not getting in the north side of this fenced in park.
