ER staff were very efficient. What made his stay bearable was the ICU staff and we want to give them a SHOUT-OUT! Each and every one of the nurses, doctors and support staff was exemplary . . . dedicated, talented, creative, humorous, caring. Unknown to us at the time, depression can come hand-in-hand with Afib! The ICU staff individually and together as a collective made the stay tolerable and likely saved my husband's mental health!!! We feel extraordinarily blessed!!! During that stay we learned quite a lot, including how short-staffed their cardiology team is. Makes a significant difference on treatment options!

I was called into an exam room even before finishing. Saw the doctor after nurse took vitals. Diagnosed issue as a pinched nerve and began treatment. They continued to check on me and adjust as needed. Everything was explained and I was given follow up instructions. All of the staff were helpful and pleasant. The entire experience was great - which meant so much more after I spent more than 2 hours at another hospital's urgent care in the afternoon and was never treated, never saw a doctor and the only medical staff I did see acted like he didn't want to be there. And, this was not because the waiting room was full. Unless 3 patients were overwhelming. This was not my first good experience here. A number of years ago my wife needed care late at night. Staff then was pleasant, efficient and took care of her. This visit I learned they also have an urgent care clinic. That's where I will go next timer it's needed!

He gets home and collapses because his defibrillator went off twice and hit the closet and hurt his hands they go back to St. John's after being there from 1:00 PM to midnight they then put him in ICU which they might be taking care of the problem after being an ICU however, if you ask a question as to why it wasn't addressed the earlier before and them,nurses and supervisors think like it's no big issue if you address time of his last visit he was in ICU and asked for them to move that person around so they don't get bed sores obviously it wasn't enough to express your concern now they tell me I can't address it. It's none of my business even though it's a family member furthermore, the nurse in the ER was so rude To the wife and if you ask that question, they don't want to address it you ask for admin person to talk to them to get answers instead if you take a name, if you take a name they bring the security and a supervisor, instead of a admin person...I did mention you all gonna get yourselves fired, which is not a threat they bring up security to escort you out and you still haven't got to talk too a admin person to answer you questions...private hospital is not a trauma they don't have the capability of resolving the issueThey are rude and they don't care they bring their security that you're out of control and making threats which never happened. This hospital is very poor and second time that a family member has been in there so the powers that be in this hospital facility sucks not everybody is nice or compassionate at all. They told me not to call the hospital or talk to admin or anyone else for that matter so what is being hidden in that hospital but yet I see all these great experiences from other visits I'm disgusted and even though I'm not a PA , or his wife I'm just a sibling and I can't ask questions with my bother there in the room and the supervisor talks over you I got up and walked out and furthermore, you have to ask the nurse three times to leave so you can have some time with your sibling and she is her department and she can be there if she wants to. They should be shut down and there's got to be more people that are being treated horribly as a family member.

Annie Grossarth, Aubrey Harding and Elliot Taxman (doctor) have a questionable value system and moral compass for providing "high quality care" as a profession. People get away with things because they rely on others being quiet about it and I won't be silenced. Here are some more details I initially left out of the below review because Taxman seemed confused. While I was having a panic attack he held up his wedding ring hand in front of him and waved his hand around showcasing his ring-- I'm not sure why he thought that was appropriate? What does his relationship status have to do with my appointment? Is this standard for all his appointments? He seemed confused, I told him while in the middle of a panic attack I'm not here to date you??? I'll continue to repost this until the end of time, no patient should have to deal with this and then pay $800/hour My appointment with Dr.Taxman was incredibly disappointing. I had a panic attack at the beginning of the appointment, when I recovered I looked up and his head was tilted down and eyes looking up glaring at me... he looked angry? We just sat there and stared at eachother for maybe 60 seconds until I broke off the stare off. It was scary, bizarre, and cruel. Nothing warrants that response from a doctor. I asked about my issues, I have year round allergies I asked about and he shrugged and mentioned one drug, that was it. We went over two prescriptions I have, he said wow that's a high dosage when referring to my antidepressant, he did not elaborate. There was a knot on my throat he said he would be willing to see through till the end-- I'm OK, I'll go to another doctor. It's clear he didn't want me in the appointment and he had an attitude the majority of the time. He rolled his eyes twice while I was talking. I read glowing reviews from other patients who he's helped with similar issues before booking. There were STILL several other issues but I'll leave it at that. I overestimated his abilities as a professional and as a doctor. Taxman has weak character and questionable moral compass if this is how he treats people/patients. Imagine asking a doctor for help and the above happens. Then having to repost this review 83 separate times, Well Life & Taxman are trying to hide what happened. The next step is going to the Oregon Board of Natropathic Medicine. I thought Taxman was a good doctor but he was horrible, self flattering, snide, and indifferent in helping me. I'm still flabbergasted because I thought I was choosing a good doctor who could guide me to other good doctors and give me advice. He could have rescheduled me with someone else if he knew he wasn't going to help me. Edit: Since I said I was going to report my experience with Taxman to the Oregon Board of Natropathic Medicine because Dr Harding and Annie Grossarth weren't doing anything to help me they cancelled my medication appointment with a different doctor. Well Life denied me access to healthcare and creared issues accessing my medication because I reported Taxman to Oregon Board of Natropathic Medicine. Annie kept trying to get me to talk to her on the phone instead of email, she lied about there being a glitch in Athena and needing to cancel my appointment. She lied about a required transfer of care phone call, she put a hold on my account until I talked to her over the phone. She was extorting me for more information via TELEPHONE ONLY which is undocumented until I received healthcare. This place is so gross, Taxman is gross Annie and Aubrey is gross, the facilities are also musty and gross. The paper liner on the patient seating was dirty with spots on it when I went in for my labs and also when I went in for my appointment in a different room on a different day. How many other patients have had similar issues here and they couldn't defend themselves. Try giving patients kindness and dignity, get some ethics training as an organization. But what they can't do is return a phone call to find out how I can get my wallet and phone. I'm now stuck with no way to do anything because all my access is on that phone they can't tell me how I can get back. No wallet... How am I supposed to.keep being successful in my recovery when they are doing nothing to help me get my belongings back. I've been giving great reviews until yesterday and today when staff can't be bothered to assist me in life stataining items they are holding. I get policy, they should have added we don't help you if you leave. AMA. We don't care that much is what they should have added to the policy in their little typo filled booklet with the rules and policy's in it. So I have to sit and hold my breath to see if anyone gives a shit that my aftercare appointments are mostly phone appointments, and they are making it is hard as possible for me to get my phone back. Despite their lack of care if you leave with out their blessing, I still have 30 days today...even after my car was totaled yesterday and all my information is at discovery Recovery and I have no way to get it back until Kam is free and has time to give a shit about his phone messages and my request to how I get my stuff from them. First I came to this facility coming off…read morestimulants and was given lorazepam and gabapentin I told them I have abused gabapentin in the past, over 20 times I had to tell them and they still continued to try and give me the medication its like the head of the facility is not connected to the body I was never given an orientation and was there 13 days and during this time I set up my own outpatient and marriage counseling therapy without a lick of help from the staff. they have process groups that are a joke they tell you that you have a safe space to share about your experience here and then tell you to fill out a paper about what was talked about to give to the other staff members WHAT A JOKE and to top all of this when u come in and leave against medical advice you cant have your belongings you have to wait 24/36 hrs to get your stuff !! ok that's reasonable I get it I had meeting with the S.U.D.P the mental health and when I left they were so nice actually giving me my sweater that I was supposed to get at the non existing orientation being there 2 weeks ya think they would have done that ha what a joke so now I get a call from CPS saying I left against medical advice and they were worried about my kids. My children are here pissed as I am. They only wanted DAD home this place is a joke do not trust these people they have only been open a few years and have loads to learn about taking care of us.
