Weil's is very large (yes!), with wheelchair access and plenty of convenient parking. There's a great taco "truck" right in the parking lot. And a loading zone right outside the main doors. Many, many dealers and something for everyone, but I was semi blown outta my boots by the prices, even on some of the booths offering 10%, 15% & 20% off (although I found about 3 booths with prices in my ballpark). I am not a cheap skate or haggler, nor am I a "collector". I'm into small framed pictures/photos, small enamel dishes for jewelry or olives, small, novel ceramic vintage wall reliefs - most of the items I liked started in the $25 - $35 range. Maybe I've just gotten too old to goody shop and I only bought 3 paperbacks for $7.50 each. But they were really super books, so... :D I'm happy. I found the staff to be friendly, fun music playing, a train passes right out the back door that you can see in summer time. I think it's worth a visit for sure, although it's 45 minutes from me and I probably won't make the trip out again. Just cuz I know a few more local shops that I can better afford. I don't want to be a hater, so just go and see for yourself... it's a fun place and you never know! read more

What a unhelpful and rude place. They have be TONS of clocks, but not for sale..... It was the day after the election And I felt like I had a liberal sign on my head-? They didn't want to help load anything, I asked if they had a cart ,they said no. When I saw some but the side door and asked about those, they said ok? ( didn't they know they were there!?) I have been there several times. If I was rating it on content thumbs up. Last time I was there a booth called MOM had a 30% off all Christmas. I purchased a lot throughout the store. When I got to the register there was a long line behind me and you cannot see what they ring up. When I left, the three items I purchased at the MOM booth I received no discount. A candy tin marked five I was charged 15. Beware when checking out. I live over an hour away so I let it go but if I return I will have them tell me the cost on each item when they ring me up. This kind of oversight is bad for their business and really not the fault of the vendors. read more

Terrible shopping experience. They had an oldies radio station just BLASTING throughout the whole mall. Complete with the blaring commericals - what an unpleasant experience, being forced to listen to super loud commericals while trying to enjoy browsing antiques. News flash, it's 2021 and I have the technology to listen to my choice of music if I want to. You don't need to force me to listen to your music at ear splitting volumes. And when you turn the music down then not so gradually turn it back up, it comes off like you're bratty kids not actual adult employees of a business that ( in theory) wants to please the customers. That was really a shame because it is a pretty interesting place with a big variety. Oh well, The Slatington Marketplace is a much more pleasant experience and now they even have a farmer's market. Weil is great! They have a wide range of items available (furniture vendors, knick knacks, retro items, true vintage items, etc) with wide price ranges as well. Once you go several times, you'll know which vendors have items you're looking for, or at price points you want. It's huge too, so make sure you set aside at least an hour to just walk through! read more

Pretty good selection of antiques. Glass, minimal primitives (thank god) lots of nice sterling and jewelry. If you love clocks they have tons! The younger guy that helped me was very nice. The older lady was not the friendliest I must say. Some half decent sales on some stuff. Definitely worth dropping by! read more

There is definitely a lot of stuff here - I'm not going to say it's not worth checking out, but it would certainly be time-consuming to sift through it all. I personally wouldn't revisit this place because I actually did try to purchase something that was in a glass case. It took 30 minutes standing in line behind 2 people to get someone to unlock the case, and then another 45 minutes standing in line behind 3 people to get it rung up. There were three people behind the front counter but apparently only one register. A little bit ridiculous and a waste of time. read more

The older cashier woman with short, grey hair threw away the price tags on my items and kept one tag from the bunch because they were similar and she ASSUMED they were all the same price. They were not. I went back inside to explain this to her as I had taken a photo of the items previously and it shows the prices. Also I know what the prices were anyway. She and another customer mocked and laughed at me because I was saying she overcharged me. She said, " well, what do you want me to do? How much are you trying to get back?" I said" I want to be charged the proper price." What a concept, right?? Lol. She finally gave me my refund after arguing and not believing me. I showed her the basket full of the other items like mine marked $2! NOT $5. Also.. just follow protocol for the store. The vendors need the PROPER price tags taken off and recorded on a receipt.. not thrown in a trash can and for the cashier to make up prices because she wants to take a short cut. Check your prices people! And don't be pushed around by the employees. read more

Weil Antique Center is a collection of antique (and vintage) seller booths. There is a little bit of everything here. I wandered around for hours. Shopping here really helped get my creativity flowing. I had all sorts of ideas after leaving the center. I didn't really "shop." Instead I wandered around, identifying old stuff, and remembering how funny old stuff is. The building is down-to-earth, not stuffy or pretentious. I will be back! read more

You enter by the staircase on the right of the loading dock or the ramp on the left. Wow this place is huge! We spent hours digging for treasures. You name it you will find it here. They have antique and Mid Century furniture, vintage lamps, farm accessories, collectibles and you can even get your old clock fixed there! Great selection of things to check out! This is one of my favorite places to get antiques in the Lehigh Valley. Prices are good, and selection is decent. Furniture and smalls, even some vintage clothing. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They have flea markets in the parking lot on weekends in the summer. Only downer is that it's way hot in the summer (no ac). read more

This place strikes a good balance between quality goods that are carefully curated and the feeling that you're rummaging around in grandma's attic and might find a steal. (Boy grandma has good taste!) I've seen a bunch of antique dealers here buying to re-sell, so you know this is the place to go for good stuff at good prices. Huge warehouse antique mall. Prices are reasonable and they have lay-away for bigger ticket items. You can find Victorian, Primitive, Deco and even some ethnic stuff. There is some junk, but not a lot. For the most part, the merchants stick to antiques and oddities. The staff is nice and helpful. I have bought a Victrola, a number of old history journals and a vintage trumpet (?) among other stuff. They seem to have the highest concentration of quality items in the Allentown metro area. This was a great place to find a hidden treasure if you know what you are looking for. It is huge so make sure you have a few hours to browse. Some items truly are other people's trash and you have to wonder why they have a vendor booth, but over all it was a great three hours spent and ultimately finding a few "can't live without" items. A hint, either bring your items up to the front for the ladies to hold or walk a specific path and take pictures on your phone of the item with booth number so you can go back. read more

I spend three to four days a month antiquing. Antique shops, antique malls, estate sales, rummage sales & garage sales. I am a hunter. This spot is fantastic. Reasonable pricing, large selection & a helpful staff. It's a haul; so I only go a few times a year, but I'm always pleased. My husband and I have always enjoyed our monthly shopping trips to Weil's for years. Unfortunately our visit last week has turned us off to the place. The woman working the front desk that day was very rude and not helpful at all. She acted as though we were bothering her when asking a question. She flat out refused to tell us if there were any discounts being offered in a particular booth we inquired about. Said if there isn't a something posted there isn't a sale. I mean come on, papers fall down on occasion....we were just asking. There were several items that we would have purchased had she not been so short and snippy with us. Instead we left and spent our money elsewhere. It will be a long time until we darken the doors of Weil's again :( read more

Great place to stop by and browse for hours, you really get lost looking at all antiques from clocks to furniture, and smaller unique items like vintage jewelry. Just like the previous reviews said there is no AC, but we ended up going during a rainy day in the summer and avoided any terrible heat. We got some records for decent prices! If you are looking for antiques of any size, I recommend Weil. Basically it is a huge warehouse with TONS of individual seller booths that customers can browse through. In combination with the antique area, there is also a clock store that sells old grandfather, wall, and mantle clocks.Overall, it is a pretty interesting place with quiet ambience. I love this place. It's one of my favorite Sunday diversions. The good: it's HUGE! There are tons of vendors, and it's easy to get lost for hours examining every last thing on their shelves. There are inexpensive trinkety things if you want something little and cute but are on a budget. I've gotten several pretty glass plates/dishes to store jewelry on my dresser, electrical insulators ($3 each) to make cool outdoor votive candle holders, and some cool vintage jewelry as well. There is a pretty decent selection of furniture, but it's not typically junky stuff that you can get cheap and refinish or paint. It's already finished and priced fairly (but usually out of my league). The bad: it can be really warm in the summertime. The only gripe I have about Weil I've stopped in 30-40 minutes before "closing time" and they make you feel ilke you should get out. They turn off the radio and start shutting the lights off way early. That makes me feel unwelcome as a customer. Not like I spend a ton of money, but maybe I'd spend more if I didn't feel like I was being kicked out 20 minutes early. Oh, and also, it's so big, so if I run in at closing time, there's less time to browse. Allow lots of time to really see the place. Other than that, it's my "go to" antiquing place. read more

I love going here, it reminds me why I love antiquing. You never know what cool thing is right around the corner. It is not cramped or disorderly, nor is there the musty scent that sometimes occurs in antique malls. If you are bored after wandering around, then you are just not looking! read more
