It was actually the original gymnasium for the park before they built a new one in 2004. The rooms is 55' by 30' with original wood floor in great condition. We used it for a little rollerskate photoshoot and the rental is only $45/hr! They have 90 chairs, fourteen 6' tables, five 8' tables, and 3 each of two different sizes of round tables. I want to host a kids birthday party here soon, but honestly, the vibe in the space is so good you could bring in a rental company to do fancy chairs and this would make a killer wedding venue, it's that good. If you also need a kitchen, you can add on kitchen rental for just $25 an hour. There also two small classroom spaces you can rent for 25/40 so you could have a getting ready space.

This center also has a partnership with IPS and helps students find additional educational help, as well as a safe, quiet place to study. Currently during COVID19, you can't walk in the offices without a meeting, so I'd suggest calling beforehand to book an appointment.

But I was able to look at all the photos and posters on the walls to see all the good things that happen there during the weekday. The John Boner Center offers a variety of community services for Indianapolis residents who need it. Right now, during COVID-19, you cannot just have a walk-in appointment. I can come up…read morewith a zillion reasons to donate to the Union City Help Center located near the state line, doctor's office and Ghyslain Chocolatier on the Indiana side of Union City. We grew up taking everything from clothing and trinkets to jewelry and furniture to the help center to donate. And, on the flip side, sometimes we picked up a few items here but most often we visited the Goodwill in Greenville. I would describe the Help Center as a scaled down Goodwill. On the back side of the building you'll find a nifty drop off port to leave donations after hours. The trusty team of volunteers sorts through the items, then cleans and tags them before adding to the inventory. You'll find artwork, nifty items like vases for crafts, bibbed overalls and other Union City treasures. To this day, I save many of my donation items from Indy and donate them when I return home to Union City.

There is ample room in this facility for hundreds of family members and a nice kitchen space to accommodate all of the good food that comes with family coming together. The facility is clean and comfortable. There is some outdoor space that we used to allow our grillmasters to do their thing. It was an awesome family weekend enhanced by the great space that allowed us to enjoy one another.

Cancer. The diagnosis is one no one wants. The entire journey from diagnosis to treatment choices is no easy journey by any means and finding providers with friendly employees and facilities that offer a wide variety of services is crucial to your physical, mental and emotional health. The Cancer Center at Community North is one place that I was surprised by and truly pleased with. I am far from impressed with the health care system in America so I felt it was very important to provide a review. From the moment we walked in, my family was treated with exceptional care from each and every employee we came in contact with. From the first employees at check in who gave us a overview of information of care to even providing us with financial assistance information at the front desk we felt a sense of genuine caring. Finally someone understands that the journey is not simple nor inexpensive and they offer you help up front instead of shocking you with medical expenses that you probably will not be financially prepared for unless you have medical emergency funds saved up for catastrophic health issues. Once we check in and knew where to go next, we met awesome nurses, care coordinators and doctors that did not rush us with helping us to understand all of the treatment options available and who encouraged us to take a few moments to think about what was best for our family. Even at check out we were not just directed on how to figure out how to get to check out. Our care coordinator escorted us to the check out and encouraged us to contact her at anytime with any questions, reaching our doctors, setting appointments, etc. If every medical facility ran as great as the Cancer Center, I guarantee the health care system would be so much better for everyone. They are a shining example of what other health care facilities and health care employees should be striving to be like!
