Which is a good deal especially because they are walking distance from the high school. You have a choice to get beef or pork. I chose pork because I can't eat a lot of beef. The service was good . They only have one table in there I guess you could eat there or scratch off lottery tickets . The hot dogs were tasty I can't complain I ate it all . A few people were waiting in line to get hotdogs so you can see they are popular. My only reason not to give them a five because I ordered mine without chili and when I got out side to my car it had chili on mine my husband ordered all the way. The salad was very good, the salmon was nicely prepared, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We liked the Greek flavors so much that we bought a container of their Greek seasoning mix to take home. Dining out can be challenging for us because I have Alpha Gal syndrome and a tree nut allergy, while my wife has a gluten allergy and is sensitive to dairy. Starfire made things considerably easier by clearly identifying gluten free items on the menu, and our waitress was helpful in working through our dietary restrictions. We were both able to find meals that worked for us without sacrificing the quality of the food. The atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant, although the dining room is showing some age. It has the slightly worn feel of a long established local restaurant, but nothing that detracted from our meal. Good for families, casual dates, and casual business meals. The dining room probably isn't the setting for an important business dinner or special occasion, but for a relaxed meal with genuinely good food, it works very well. We would absolutely return. The smell is unmistakeable and you can take it to go or eat inside a covered area that has booths and even a pool table. They sell farm fresh eggs and other various produce, flavored honeys and bottle of bbq sauce. What we ordered.. 1/2 rack ribs - don't even know where to start with how tender, fall of the bone the ribs were, with a perfectly spicy bbq sauce 1/2 lb sliced brisket - this is their best seller and my lord, I entirely understand why 1/2 chicken - hubs loves chicken and this was like a mutant because it was gigantic and not overly smokey, but just right dipped in the rib sauce A small container of potato salad - had I known how truly delicious this was going to be, I'd definitely have gone bigger. Next time!! It was a tad sweet but balanced perfectly with relish. I have no problem traveling for quality.. this spot is about 1.5 hours away from Myrtle beach where we stay, and worth every minute of the drive. Best of all, I got to meet Mike!! He's a southern gentleman, a blast to chat with and I cant wait to go back. Being that it has just opened it is basically one small room inside another door. There is one shelf w stock on ea side. Another smaller shelf opposite register, and glass display w additional stock. The owner says she wants to expand the store eventually. I did not see any meat/fish options. There are dried goods, drinks, fruitcake, seasoning. For us in Florence this is incredibly convenient to have this grocery now. My wife says the prices were about $1 cheaper on most items that our usual spot. If you live in Flo and are Jamaican/Caribbean check it out.
