I described the only issue I have been having, and he prescribed me an anti-depressant because it would also help with my symptoms, although I'm not experiencing any of the symptoms associated with depression. Understandable that medicine can be used for treatment of other things. Totally irresponsible to prescribe me a new medication that is known to have side effects that can alter your brain chemistry and then tell me to schedule a follow-up in ONE YEAR. However, over the last 6 months, I have experienced MANY office communication problems. This is across the board with specialists and primary care physicians. The providers' staff DO NOT return phone calls or respond to messages. I had to physically walk into the back of my primary doctor's office, (without an appointment, and no one at the front desk) to get a referral for PT after calling four times with the request. The nurse was concerned she hadn't gotten the messages, and I showed her my call log to verify the contacts. This is just one example, we have had three other concerning encounters involving cancelled appointments (on their end), records not being forwarded to specialists outside the site, and an inability to schedule or reschedule appointments as no one returns our calls. Primary doctors and nurse practitioners retire or resign and there are no replacements, the existing doctors are stretched thin. We unfortunately, after 30+ years, will be looking for a location.

Scheduling appointments to see your treating physician is not easy, they dont have openings for weeks or when you call to make an appointment they want you to see their NPs. With that said, Charlie, the "nursse mgr" informed me that "Mace Medical has 20,000 patients and when he speaks he speaks for all the doctors there, if your not happy, find another provider" Charlie also proceeded with snark comments regarding my Jan. 25th 2025 visit with Dr. Ebo Yes, after 30 yrs of primary care, the Doctors there allow their staff to dismiss patients. Through their Healow app I requested a prescription refill to hold me over because I found a new doctor. Just like that, my refills were sent and they took away my access to their app, which was medical records and history needed for a new primary. If you're looking for a family friendly doctors office, this is no longer the place to go.

I initially like his wholistic approach to medicine but I have seen a steady decline in his practice of medicine through the years. Like most folks these days complaining about their doctors, this doctor buries himself in the computer when I go in for my annual exam and barks questions at me barely giving me enough time to answer one question before he moves on to the next. He clearly is very aware of the time he is spending with you. That all aside, he has demonstrated significant lapses in my medical care that has most recently become apparent. He neglected to monitor me on a drug I was on long term, that is identified with significant side effects, and when I mentioned a year ago I was experiencing some of these side effects (not realizing it was the medication) he did not pick up on it. Most recently, I had an aortic heart valve replacement two weeks ago that was severely occluded. This doctor ignored my heart murmur for YEARS (saying it was benign), ignored the stasis on my legs (telling me to keep them raised and wear compression hose instead of trying to find out why they were swelling by referring me for an echocardiogram), and most recently ignored difficulty I was having breathing (I couldn't get an appointment to see him). Fortunately I was able to get in to see my pulmonologist who ran all the appropriate tests and hooked me up with fabulous cardiologists. Oh! And when I had to contact Dr. Goldman to set up my post procedure follow-up for one month after my heart procedure? He didn't have any appointments available for 7 months. I can only assume why he doesn't want to see me now. Avoid this doctor at all costs!

I liked him and talked about him so much when my wife was looking for a doctor she decided to go start seeing Dr Goldman and she is glad she does. My son is also a patient of his. His office staff is great. Although, I miss 2 women that have worked for him over the 25 years. Bonnie and Amber were the best. However, Karen the office manager always has the staff in great customer service mode. Appointments start and end on time. Prescriptions are taken care of if you are on the medication for a long time within 24 hours. Heather and Lori do a great too! So, in short Dr Goldman is the best doctor I have ever seen.

It was still a very stressful situation with all the last minute changes but overall I am pleased with the outcome and would recommend Dr Rosenthal***** I am ver upset that Dr Rosenthal decided to cancel my endoscopy at the last minute which I had booked for over a month now and even reconfirmed 2 days prior. Her reason for cancelling was unprofessional and uncaring. I would have understood if she had some sort of emergency or something but to tell me at the last minute that it was because I had rescheduled it a few times previously - What the heck? If that were really the reason then they should have not scheduled it for me nearly two months ago. Also although I did have to reschedule it a few times due to a family crisis- I never changed it at the last minute like she did to me! Then when I asked for a callback to discuss it - her office assured me 3 times that she would call me back but she never did! My driver had taken off work and I have been off my prescribed medicines and vitamins for two weeks now as was instructed so I did all the prep work. But then she cancelled on me at the last minute and tried to blame me for her cancelling last minute!

When I walked in for my first appointment I was young, and was suffering from many different medical problems and was seeing many different specialists. I walked in and handed him a paper with all of my medical issues and what bothers me, when I was diagnosed, by who, and who I had been seeing. He looked at that paper for about five minutes then looked up at me with shining eyes and said "your a challenge. And I love a good challenge. I would be honored to be your doctor and help you through all of this if you let me." I now only see one of my specialists and he is able to take care of the rest. He was there for me when my mom died and made sure I knew if I needed anything at all, even just to talk, that he was there. Granted he is no spring chicken anymore and is getting up in years, but he is still the best doctor.
