I would like to start off by saying thank you. Thank you for keeping our family together. Thank you…read morefor guiding us through this long journey. Thank you for always being honest. Thank you for all the reassurance throughout the entire process. Thank you for making sure that we submitted material that would give us the best outcome. Thank you for always giving us hope even though somedays it seemed like we were never going to get to the end. Thank you for being there for us now. even after we have completed this process. If you are looking for a place that is not going to beat around the bush and make sure you have all your I's dotted, T's crossed, and ducks in a row, this is the place. My husband and I were referred by a friend. It was a decision I will never regret making. It has been a long 8 years, since the first day we walked through the doors of this Law firm, to our first meeting with Charles Kuck, to meeting Alejandro Roig who would guide us through our long journey. There have been so many ups and downs, so many tears, so much frustration, so many hurdles and challenges, but we have also had so many successful moments as well. Alejandro Roig. I could not have asked for a better person to take our case. At first, I was a bit confused since we originally consulted with Charles Kuck, and I automatically thought he would be the one to take our case. Either way, I never questioned it. I knew that if this was Heavenly Father's will, no matter who it was, we would get to where we needed to be. Roig made that happen. Roig was always truthful, raw, and never sugar-coated anything. He was straight forward and made sure we understood each step of the way and how important it was that everything we submitted was going to help us, rather than hurt us. He has seen me cry tears of fear, frustration, sadness, but also of happiness. No matter what the circumstance, he would redirect me to the main goal, which was to get to the end. I am so grateful for that. Sometimes we get so caught up in our feelings that we forget to focus on why we are here in the first place. Through it all, we can finally put this nightmare to rest. We no longer have to live in fear of separation. We no longer have to live in silence. We can finally breathe. We can finally stop hiding. We can finally start living. It's a new beginning and we are forever grateful for this opportunity. Roig always said I did the hard work and he just put it together. He sure did. He made sure that every piece was in the right place and that it will stay that way. If you're reading this Alex, thank you for making my family a whole forever. There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are. One last hurdle to cross, praying that you'll still be there for us when that time comes. Counting down the days already. 2 years and 362 days to go. It's truly been a pleasure to have you as our Paralegal. Best way to ring in the New Year!

I will agree, a large portion of the communication is email, but that worked for me. When I requested a call, Ryan would schedule one and we would talk it out. I don't need my hand held daily through the process by my attorney (that is what therapist are for!). I need an attorney who will stand for me, my requests, and balance out what is reasonable. Ryan and the team did a good job with my many concerns. As a client, I feel it is best to be an active member of the team - stay on top of them, ask questions, etc This is 'your process' not theirs, so manage your expectation. I volunteered to run documents to the courts, get copies from the courts, communicate with document servers, etc - so I knew the entire process. I requested to proof read and review all documents before being shared with opposing counsel or the courts - this is vital, so you know where you are in the process. I made sure the team knew what I wanted to see in Discovery and I drafted my own postnup agreement with the terms I expected/requested. This is what made it work for me - if you know what your expectation is, then manage it to get what you want. Don't just sit back and worry over not hearing updates, or think they will know what you want. Tell them exactly what you expect and manage the result. I did have an issue with a delay in the beginning over serving of documents to my spouse, in my opinion it was a Jaffe error and I notified them of my conversations with the document server, what my expectation was, how I felt the delay was on their side, and what I expected to see moving forward. Ryan was quick to call me, listen to my concerns, and workout a solution. This was a small hiccup in the overall process, but Ryan was quick to 'own it' and correct it with his team.

I am disappointed with the lack of communication regarding my case. I understand that legal matters…read morecan take time and that there are procedures that must be followed, but the ongoing lack of updates has become a significant concern. I have reached out multiple times seeking clarification on the status of my case and what steps are being taken moving forward, yet communication has been limited. As a client, I believe it is reasonable to expect timely responses and updates, especially when important matters affecting my family are involved. The lack of communication has left me uncertain about the progress of my case and concerned about whether important deadlines and developments are being properly addressed. I hope improvements can be made in client communication so that concerns are acknowledged and clients are kept informed throughout the legal process.

She candidly admitted she was not immediately familiar with the county, but quickly looked it up, noted that it was approximately 90 minutes from her office, and confirmed that, as a licensed attorney in the state of Georgia, she would be able to represent me there. Afterward, I explained the details surrounding my ticket, and Melissa immediately began walking me through the options available to me. She thoroughly explained the potential legal implications, clarified legal terminology, and outlined the possible courses of action I could pursue. She was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, professional, and friendly throughout the conversation. What impressed me most was her honesty and integrity. While she offered her services should I choose to retain counsel, she also emphasized that this was something I could likely handle on my own and potentially avoid incurring attorney fees. She generously spent approximately 15 minutes consulting with me, reiterating the steps I should take and assuring me that if I was unsuccessful handling the matter independently, she would be more than happy to represent me. After speaking with eight different attorneys before finding Melissa, I was pleasantly surprised by how professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful she was. Based on my experience and first impressions alone, I would highly recommend Melissa. She is truly a rare gem.

I am in my low 20s and I was working at a low-income job. I was referred to her through a friend in the criminal defense business. I had called around to other lawyers and law offices and they were condescending and only made me more nervous about the situation I was in. Melissa was the exact opposite. I believe her first words were, "Everything is going to be okay, don't worry." She was extremely thorough and I actually felt safer knowing she was on my side. She communicated everything to me in terms I could understand and kept me up to date and in control of my case. If at any point something would change (in my case or in her working situation) I would receive a phone call asking my thoughts about an issue before she would act. I'm not sure how any of you would feel about this, but I LOVED it. Not only did she have more experience than she had told me, she used all of it to benefit me the most. My case ended exactly as I chose for it to, and quickly, even though Melissa had assured me multiple times that she was willing to go the distance for me. Things you need to know: Melissa is hardworking and consistently did so for me. I was treated with respect. She was willing to work as hard as needed to make sure I was comfortable in my sentence. She was very relatable. On my second DUI I chose to end the court sessions early and my sentence was as follows: All the normal classes that are required for a DUI, a $500 fine, 40 hours community service, and probation (2 years..I chose two years instead of one) that would become nonreporting when I had finished all of the other requirements.
