This Weis Markets can be found at the Westgate Mall off of Schoenersville Road. This is definitely my favorite location. This store was just opened May of 2021 so everything is up to date. There is so much MTO food you won't know what to get. On top of all the food there is also a beer-wine cafe, pharmacy, meal solution center, and gas station. read more

On-line order was delivered to the wrong address. But then, there was neither a name nor address on the scrap of paper stapled to the bag. One day later, tracked the package to a neighbor. One item was missing. When I called this Weis, after several transfers I was told to contact Amazon. No. Weis was listed as the provider and undoubtedly initially handled the items. Why should I have to deal with Amazon? Why did the Weis employee not even provide a telephone number, let alone help seek a solution. I want my $5 tip back. Until I get it, I will shop at nearby Wegmans. read more

$3.49 for a can of Campbell's soup. The same soup is $2.49 at Wegman's 5 minutes away. The price gouging at Weis should be criminal.

Positives... Great selection of items, clean store, counter staff at sushi and seafood are great as are many stocking shelves. Neutral.. check expiration dates on everything, found several expired items. Poor customer front service. Unable to help with store reward card issues, Difficult with self checkout area being ready or anyone willing to help. read more

The store is laid out very well. I wish they had more frozen breakfast items. Self checkout is sometimes a problem but that's my issue.

Too expensive for their home delivery fee, charged a $10 service fee plus's other fees which ended up being about $20. Called because 4 of my 6 yogurts We're open & I was told there was nothing they can do about it. read more

Aside of being open 24 hours a day, this is what shopping for groceries looked like thirty years ago. You know the saying "This isn't your father's..."? Well not only is this your father's grocery store it's more like your grandfather's grocery store (which might be true seeing as they do offer a weekly senior citizen discount day). The big issue is prices. While Weis does have a guarantee a that few items every week will be the cheapest in the area, the majority of what this store carries is way overpriced compared to Giant. They sometimes offer BOGO deals on things in store which are not advertised in their weekly circular but as an example I'm not paying for Weis store brand ice cream when I can go to Giant and pay the same thing for Breyers. Another pet peeve about this place is that unlike most stores that have a deli which opens at seven in the morning the deli here opens at ?? There are normally employees in the general deli/seafood area restocking things but short of setting off a flare good luck getting any of them to actually stop what they're doing to help you out at that time. Let's also add in no self checkout lanes and easily the slowest cashier staff in the world who always has to make sure they fiddle with the receipt to find on the bottom how much you "saved" with their store card + any coupons you brought as if only they can read/interpret that mystical dollar amount. It's one thing to charge more because what you're offering is either of a superior quality or you try to make it look like it's of a superior quality but Weis is selling the same stuff that Giant sells or Redners sells or even to a degree that Wegmans sells except it costs more here without them having things like any type of high end or organic products or items in bulk sizes. Short of it being an emergency or you coming with someone else's money, I truly don't understand the appeal of coming here or why/how you could use this store as your primary grocery shopping location. read more

I have been shopping at this store since it opened as George's IGA back in the 70's Store was enlarged along the way, but I have to agree it's not a modern store. Why Weis closed the store on Catasauqua Rd (which later opened as a Bottom Dollar and later Aldi) and has kept the legacy store at Westgate Mall and keeps it open 24 hours beats me. For my wife and I it is more convenience than anything. 24 hours means I can shop on the way home late. For selection, it has what I need at OK prices especially with my Shoppers Card! And I usually can park almost at the front door. While I almost always use the self-checkout at other stores, I always head to the end checkout or counter where they sell the cigarettes for pretty fast checkout. I don't fill a cart. 10 items is a lot for me. Prices? I check my Weis flyer that they email weekly - along with a few other stores - and I shop accordingly. By the way, Weis brand ice cream is great! I buy it when it's on sale! And most of the clerks get me thru the line in ok time! So in ending, this is almost the closest chain supermarket to my house. While it's almost even with the Valley Farm Market on Stefko, and maybe Giant at the Lehigh Shopping Center, prices are ok at Weis especially with the shopper's card. And let us remember, Weis is an American Owned Store, compared to Giant & Aldi. Just my two cents! read more

I ordered a cake from the bakery (Schoenersville Road Bethlehem) for a bee & honey themed baby shower. I asked for bees in the decoration and "Mommy to Bee" written on the cake. I could not have been more thrilled with the cake....the cake decorator is amazing!!! The cake was delish as well as beautiful!! BTW...Wegman's said they could not put bees on the cake only flowers or balloons????? read more

As a former employee who is now retired I can honestly say that Weis markets truly listens to their customers needs. They provide fair prices and do their best to keep their shelves well stocked . They have great sales and their customer service is excellent. All the cashiers do their best to provide good service. And also everyone that does the gas station provides good customer service also. read more

I was trying to find a new grocery store since I moved. I tried Weis but was very unhappy. Since I live alone and on a budget I'm always trying to save money but that can't be done at Weis. Although they have great sale prices, you only get the sale price of you buy three of the item. So if there would be 5 sale items I wanted I would need to spend money on ten other items just to get the sale price. Money that I don't have budgeted for excess items. So with that I'll find another place to shop. read more

We purchased a. Christmas cookie assortment from Weis on Schoenersville Road for $20. We have purchased in the past and they were good, these were inedible, some of them were so hard you could not bite or chew them, others all tasted alike. Very poor quality. Will never buy again. read more

The cashier was rude to me about being in the express line with 20 items even though no amount was specified, only two other registers open with long lines, deli person was very nice but had to ask her associate for help when several more people came to counter and got annoyed at the wait. Store is outdated and drab. Would probably be better to drive out of my way to Tighlman street Weis IF I need to go to a Weis for special items, otherwise will stick to giant. Do not need to be humiliated in a store when I am spending my hard earned money there. read more

I wish I had thought of taking a photograph or two while I was in the store. Specifically in the produce section. I pick up several bags of tomatoes and they were all moldy. Out of the five bags they had, 4 contained a large amount of mold in each bag. The rest of the produce looked awful. Wilted and no where near fresh. This is not uncommon for this weis location. Because of this, I'm completely done with this store. Even if I just need soda I'll find another place to go. For such a small store you would think they could at least maintain a fresh selection of food. Sorry Weis, three strikes and you are out. read more

I go there at least 3x's a week. I love the fried chicken but only the thighs. Sometimes whoever is working they will upcharge me for them and I appreciate that cause I don't like wasting food. However, there are times where they tell me no that I can order that. Today I went there and asked if there was any fried chicken at 1:00 cause there was none out. They lady in the lunch meat dept. asked the guy how long u til they have any. She came back and said it would be 30 min. After 30 min I went back and another girl asked him and gave him I my request. He came out and said he could not sell me just thighs and that it would be 30 min. I told him I was told that 30 min ago and he said that it was impossible. It was a couple min ago. I told him that I do not appreciate being told that I was lying. He said those were my words. I said no you may have not used the word lying but you surely insinuated that. Keep your chicken "weiss" market. I'll grt it at Valley Farms where I can order what I want. My suggestion is to be kind and try to treat your customers with respect. read more

So it seems that the very "essential" employees here that risked their lives daily during Covid are not good enough for the shiny new store opening soon. Yep! To all you regular shoppers who know (& love) all the regular employees you've come to know through the years : don't expect to see many of them. They have been transferred all over to other stores. They were good enough for Covid but not for the new store. Some employees who don't drive now do not know how they will be getting to work. For some ...family time will change because they will travel more getting to a store farther away. With all the trauma and change in life the last thing these employees need is more change and uncertainty. Weis is too good now and striving to be like Wegmans. They don't want their silly old-timer employees in their shiny new store. Nice time to open during graduation time too. Can't plan sons party because you can't plan days off. Too busy making more money for weis. People don't support a store who does this to long time employees who served you during Covid! Shame on you weis. read more

This is Weis is old, cramped, and outdated. It's not a pretty store or necessarily visually appealing, but it is what it is. It's convenient, decent prices, clean, ample parking and I've found every employee I've had contact with to be pleasant and helpful. I've never encountered any rudeness or excessively long lines. I want to address a previous negative review that begins with the word "racist." I am a minority myself, and maybe it's how I conduct myself, but I have never been treated any differently than the majority of the local ethnic demographic. I act like a respectful gentleman and I am treated like a respectable gentleman. I can't help but to believe that quite possibly the person who wrote the negative review based on a perception of racism, most likely is one of my people who goes through everyday of their life with a chip on their shoulder, who blames everything that doesn't go in their favor on The R Word. I shop here regularly. I've never had any problems or ever felt like my money wasn't good enough because of the color of my skin. My money is green, and it's a business and that's what they care about. Overall, it's a decent local smaller supermarket...maybe too small to be a "super" market. Oh, BTW: the owners of the Westgate Mall who just renovated the place: you people should've updated the lighting in the parking lot. It's scary dark at night and I'm an armed retired police officer. Sick and tired of buying birthday cakes there and other bakery items behind the glass and everything is old dry or stale..the buttercream icing was stale and just falling off of the dry ass cake..its so embarrassing because most people buy these kind of cakes for an occasion..come to find out recently that they do NOOOO BAKING in that store what so ever......They get EVERYTHING DELIVERED FROZEN and they only decorate it......WTF read more
