The collard greens are organic because that was the only kind he could find. So the guy buys four pounds of organic collard greens and he takes them to the cashier who barely acknowledges his existence despite an attempt at interaction. The register reads $17 and some cents. But that's not the joke part. The guy goes home to prepare the collards and upon unbundling each plume finds that many of the interior leaves of each bundle are not collard green, but collard yellow or collard brown. But that's also not the joke part. The joke part is that the collard greens/yellows come from a store that has disappointed the guy multiple times over many years due to a lack of ingredient availability, price gouging, and questionable customer service. A store that is called ... ... FRESH Market. (Ba dum tiss.)

The people who work here are friendly and I always stop by when I'm in the area to see what kind of bargains there are to be had. You do have to be conscious of expiration dates. Everyone entering must have a cart, they've been using this to limit the amount of customers in the store. The store is well stocked and very clean. Everything looks fresh. There is a large prepared foods section, you can smell good food even in the parking lot. They have high quality food. People working there looking happy. The shoppers looked even happier. Don't miss the cafe upstairs. There's a lot of parking and good shops around. Highly recommend this place! One more thing, they have Caper carts! They're a new kind of technology where you can pay in the cart, it even has a scale to weigh produce. It looks like a cart with a computer on it.
