Today's experience was five star, and Hennessey provided a model for how all, retail employees should interact with customers. There were two customers in front of me, each with unique issues that required more time and attention. Hennessey handles each one with exemplary customer service in terms of her caring, competency, and efficiency. I had a coupon from the drug manufacturer that also required some extra attention and Hennessy handled it quickly. it seems like good. Customer service is a thing of the past, and it is most refreshing to find an employee who exemplifies what customer service should be. Kudos to Hennessey and wall greens. The atmosphere as I said early is more so depicted by who is working. She didn't even bag my items, just gave me my change and receipt and then turned around to talk to someone who had just walked into the store, even tho there was a lady with a cart of items behind me. I stood there for about 2 seconds to wait for her to bag my items and never did. I ended up putting them in a bag myself. Rude and disrespectful. I bought my daughter sectional couch for a housewarming gift from the Chester Store. It was in…read morestock about 4 weeks after ordering, just like the sales associate promised.The store called right away and made sure to hold the couch until we could pick up. About 2 months later my daughter noticed a spring poking out of the back of couch which ripped the seat zipper. I had bought the 3 yr warranty,however the warranty company was useless! They kept saying they could not find my info. I stopped by the store and BOB (furniture dept) said " I will hold the next one on the delivery truck in about a week." I felt uncertain but about 1 week later Big Lots called and said they had my replacement part. BOB helped me make sure I had the right piece,he helped me figure out how to disconnect the the couch and helped all around.BIG LOTS AND BOB were great!! I can not say enough good things about the experience. Thank you Big Lots Chester MD and a BIG THANK YOU TO BOB!!! Great customer service.
