GREATLY disappointed with my experience today at Weis. My friend and I stopped by to grab some last minute items for a Christmas Eve dinner. At which point we were followed by an employee by the name of "Jade" who was VERY aggressive stating "the store is closed, we closed five minutes ago, there was an announcement." I totally understand people wanting to be with family and loved ones on Holidays but this treatment was beyond unnecessary. Never in my life have I had an experience like this. The whole experience put a bad taste in my mouth. The young lady who checked us out was very apologetic of "Jade" and was patient and sincere. Our experience was quite the talk of the night. I live right behind Weis, but I think I'll be driving a little further for gas and groceries from now on. read more

What is up with the half-rotten produce? The vegetable section is always well stocked and clean, but the produce itself is already limp and too soft to buy. Salad is limp in every package, regardless of brand and date. Squashes and cucumbers are puckered and already mushy inside. Bags of potatoes have withered, white fuzzy potatoes in the middle like they were not temperature controlled. Bendy celery and while carrots. Is there a refrigeration or storage issue? I love the meat department here. Good selection in general of cuts, and especially good stock of pure meats without added solutions or vegetable proteins. Their frozen sections are clean and free of frost buildup, with recently stocked products. No frozen peas from two years ago. So overall, the store is clean, well stocked and has a great selection. I just won't buy any produce here. Which makes up half my grocery budget. read more

I have been getting my prescriptions a wise for a while now but the last couple of months no auto refill and I can't even get some of my prescriptions that I need as I am a diabetic. I would have given a 0, but it wouldn't let me I guess I might have to go somewhere else if this keeps up I need my med's on time. read more

I just stopped by this store for the first time this evening. I will never shop at this establishment ever again. Once I pulled up to the checkout, there were two people just standing there. They ignored me until I said something. After I asked the two workers for help, they spoke back nastily and lacked even basic customer service skills. I asked them for a savings card and they said "Yo, we can't do that because there is nobody here from customer service." Unreal. Seriously? This is the WORST grocery store ever. The checkers and baggers are rude, nasty and they laugh at customers (yes I actually watched them laugh at a customer). read more

Hubby stopped in just the other day. He picked up 2 of their roast beef subs. Ya know, they had more meat in them than Subway's subs.I also like their egg & potato salad. Their macaroni salad is pretty decent too. read more

Great place to shop fair prices. The Young blonde lady that helped me at the register was awesome!!

What a sh*t show. Every time I go there I have nothing but issues at the register whether it's self checkout or a person helping - they don't know what going on. Apple Pay works 20% of the time and the chip readers work 70% of the time. I spent 30 minutes getting my groceries all to leave the store empty handed. Even the manager couldn't fix the issue with Apple Pay not working and said we had to pay with a physical card. When we used our card the system wouldn't even recognize it. I'm not coming back to waste another afternoon. What an aggravating experience. read more

This Weiss market has twice the "footprint" of the store in Martinsburg. I actually found a "dog bed" here that works fine for us and we plan to purchase another. The price was right too. Yeah, I know that is not their specialty, but the point is they have a lot of "convenience" items the Martinsburg store doesn't have. Everything also seems "fresh" and "clean" so it comes up to par with Martins. read more

I love trying plant based foods & other vegan options, and while out shopping here, I saw a plant based Buffalo dip. I took it home and come to find out it was 15 days EXPIRED. Thankfully I had only had a bite but still absolutely unacceptable. What makes matters worse is that I called the store before I brought the product back to let them know there were expired products on their shelves. 2 hours later, I arrived to get a new one and the expired containers were still on the shelf. Weis consistently has fresh produce and friendly staff. The prices are not lower than some of the other places but often with produce you get what you pay for. They also have a good selection of brands unlike some other bigger places. There is always plenty of parking. They also have good specials and also some stores are taking part in the order online and curbside pickup. This is a great way to save time. read more

As stores go this is a big jump up from the local Food Lions. I'd say it's on par with Martins but the ultimate store is Wegmans in Frederick MD. We need to get a Wegmans near us to showcase what a true grocery store can be, not some average run of the mill operation. I do like to pick up prescriptions here and Kevin, the Pharmacist is very squared away, polite and helpful. He makes it worth shopping at Weis! read more

I love this Weis! The staff is very friendly and helpful! One of the very few places I can find gluten free blueberry muffins! The store is always clean and organized. They offer sales and coupons frequently. I recommend going here. read more
