If I could go 0 stars I would. My mother and I came in for a tour today and it absurd how we were treated. The receptionist paulette at the front desk was so rude. We looked like we were bothering her when we walked in. She rolled her eyes and she was so rude. This was our first impression of the place and it was not a good one. We asked about the program and she let out a loud sigh and told us "we take care of the elderly what else would you like to know". I was so appalled. They still haven't gotten me in to see a dermatologist!! It's been sooo long now. Crazy. Their transportation now is not good . They come way too early so I'm about an hour early for my appts, sometimes even more than that Do I'm sitting there waiting for a really long time. . I shouldn't have to get to my appt longer than 20 mins before I have to be there. Nobody would want to sit there waiting that long. Nobody. It's quite disrespectful. My time is valuable to me just like yours is to you. I've complained about this a few times but it doesn't change. I got quite sick too last appt I went they gave me 2 vaccines. I usually only get one each time I'm there . The next day so got really sick with chills and fever and felt horrible and threw up four times. I rarely ever get sick like that. They don't even let you sit outside by yourself to wait for something either. If you want to go outside to make a phone call privately like they make someone go with you the whole time. That's crazy to me. It's like your in prison lol. read more

My 91-year-old mother in law has been a participant at the North Hollywood location since Jan 2025 - it's really an incredible place - like nothing we've ever seen before. They provide her medications, medical equipment, dental care, eyeglasses, hearing aids, weekly socialization, and in-home care. They transport her to and from all of her appointments and her weekly socialization activities. Their goal is to keep people living independently in their own homes as long as possible and it's been great. The staff are skilled and kind, caring, and respectful. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I'd say one sort of down side is sometimes you have to wait for some of these services, but they are reasonable about that, and participants are getting these amazing things for free so it's still worth it. read more

Soooo fed up and frustrated with this, so sure it's making my blood pressure too go sky high! Their transportation and Communication reguarding it just is what's going to have them lose me. I will start exploring other options any day now. For over 3 months waiting for an appt today and trans doesn't even let me know they are downstairs waiting for me etc . Then they go rescheduling me for an appt same doc like four months from now which I needed this appt 8 mos ago. Going around daily with lead in my body. Prob big health risk too. Oh oh no if they don't fix this and get me in there within two weeks tops I'm gone. They already had me go there three other times and doc wasn't even in that day. Wasting my time each time and their gas Its about. 40 min drive one way to get there even. They can waste gas money that's on them but wasting my time already three times it's just way too much !!!! Piss Poor! Their communications suck! From a woman that does NOT speak clear when leaving a voicemail. You tell Welbehealth in plain english, after 12 pm scheduled appointments to cancel and not the 0930 hours. AI will leave a voicemail and will send you a text to confirm or deny. I received 3 text messages for different appointments. AI wanted a response of 1 to confirm. I responded with 111 to confirm. AI says we did not understand your response. Apparently, when you tell Welbehealth, they did understand english. From AI to women Welbehealth staff they don't or will not understand. I don't trust liars and deceivers. That is already fraud. They are NOT worth it! Their transportion sucks! I got to Welbehealth facility in North Hollywood late to scheduled appointment. Integrity is not what they have. Everything is ment to look good! This is California, fraud is what they know! They were a waste of my time and almost cause me a heart attack. I hate everything about California! This was an additional problem I did not have to experience. I made a bad choice returning back to California. read more

Welbe is a fraud, not professional. All smiles but do not do what they say, do not provide all services they offer, find ways to get around non-performance. Also, liars. Capable of some performance but don't expect them to meet their representations. Formal communication very difficult, if you need to talk must leave message at call center, and they might get back to you in a couple of days. Transportation unreliable. Third party dentists (plural) and optometrist not good, glasses are unusable, a joke, had to glue the lenses in and the frames still fell apart. Dental work completely inadequate, had to be completed third party outside Welbe. Do not waste your time at Welbe unless all you need is day center socialization and breakfast only once a week. read more

The staff were very welcoming as I arrived at 8am. They greeted the participants with a smile and assisted those that need assistance. The facility is beautiful!!! The participants were actively participating in activities with joy on their faces. If you're looking for a day program for your loved one, Welbe Health in North Hollywood should definitely be considered. read more

Here's a revised version of your experience: I don't recommend Welbehealth in North Hollywood, especially for elderly individuals in their 70s or 80s who need assistance with medical appointments. My father had a very poor experience with this center. I was his caregiver before he switched to Welbehealth, and he chose them hoping to give me a break, as they assured him they would handle his needs both at the center and beyond. Unfortunately, the transportation services were terrible--my father was often left waiting on the sidewalk for 30 minutes to an hour, sometimes even longer. There were occasions when he wasn't picked up at all, causing him to miss important medical appointments. I was actually able to get him to his appointments more reliably than they could. Whenever I called to report issues or request help, the responses were unhelpful, and there was little to no improvement. Even though they have a new facility and a "wrap-around team" with multiple people involved in his care, this team approach did not make a difference in meeting my father's needs. I strongly advise against enrolling with them or switching your Medicare to Welbehealth. Staying with traditional Medicare offers more options, and programs like IHSS provide better support for loved ones in need. read more

The transportation services now aren't good and have me having to arrive there way earlier than my docs apps due to them saying they have to pick up others on the way too. I live further than most people using them and it doesn't take an extra hour to pick up someone that's on our way there. They should just use one driver to take one person there and not pick up and drop off others on the way. It wastes alot of time for people just wasting their whole day sitting around waiting for rides! The other day to be taken home they had me waiting close to two hours saying they had to wait for other partisans to be ready to go too when those people were only doing crafts in the day center and live close by and they had me waiting that long when they weren't even seeing a doctor they were doing arts n crafts and I had to wait almost two hours? I ended up taking the bus which I had no cash on me but I just couldn't stand waiting any longer. Then the bus took long too and had to take two busses. Huge mission. Thankfully bus driver wasn't charging anyone that day to ride. I LIVE PRETTY FAR SO IT TAKES SITTING 35 MINS APPX IN THE VAN..IT GETS TO MY LEGS START BEING IN PAIN IF I SIT WEARING A SEAT BELT LONGER THAN THAT, BY TAKING OTHERS IN SAME RIDE EACH PERSON MEANS ANOTHER 20 MINS OF SITTING LONGER IN THAT SEAT AND GETS UNCOMFORTABLE. IF THE RIDES DONT GET BETTER I MAY LEAVE WELBE BECAUSE I EEFUSE TAKING MY WHOLE DAY WITH HOURS OF WAITING FOR RIDES JUST FOR ONE DOC APPT AND HOUR LONG OR LONGER RIDES HOME AND JUST WASTING MY TIME FOR HOURS JUST TO GET RIDES THERE AND BACK. My wife was a former employee at Welbe and they have yet to pay her after four weeks. The leadership at this company is incompetent and treat their employees terribly. They are always "busy" in meetings when employees and patients need help. I will be reporting them to the Business Bureau. read more

I have planned a vacation for several months now & have given welbe health ample time ( more than two months) to prepare for my husband's care (who is in a hospital bed) in my absence at home. I don't think they want to pay for him to be at a facility, and they have FAILED to coordinate care for him at home 6 days prior to my trip. I cannot express the level of anxiety and mistrust I have with Nancy and Welbe who was supposed to coordinate all of this from the beginning. This is not the only time that she has failed to communicate with me regarding my husband's care. I know this company has great potential base based off of what we seen at the Pasadena location. However in North Hollywood they have proven to us time and time again that communicating with us on most issues is not important to them or her. I have to go above pay grade to get an answer and to get things moving into action which is a headache, unnecessary, and very unprofessional. If you have a loved one who needs basic care this may be the place for you but for someone who has a loved one with severe and several health issues and or being in a hospital bed you might want to reconsider. However because they do provide home care and other care at home we are need to stay with welbe health. We really really do love every nurse and doctor and physical therapist that we've worked with but they desperately need to take care of business in a timely manner with proper communication. read more
