First time coming here and honestly the customer service was terrible. The lady helping us was rude, impatient, and acted like we were inconveniencing her for simply asking questions. She kept making us feel dumb instead of actually being helpful. She said she didn't want to wrap the items because she was about to go on lunch. The whole experience came off very dismissive and unwelcoming, especially when we were literally just trying to buy a nice gift. The only reason this review isn't worse is because the guy working there was actually nicer and at least treated us with basic respect. read more

We went to Welborn's to get a floral arrangement for my father's funeral. We picked out a large standing arrangement to go by the casket. What was sent was about half the size of the one pictured and it contained few of the flowers or items that were pictured. On top of that, the flowers it did contain were wilted looking or fake. I called this place to send my mom some flowers for her 90th birthday. We sent them pictures of what we wanted and told them the kind of flowers we wanted in this Arrangement and they said they had the flowers and that they can make the arrangement . Also we asked them to send us a picture before it was sent to her and of course we didn't get that but now I know why. When she got it it was nothing like the pictures. IT didn't have any of the flowers but one type that we wanted in the arrangement Then when my sister sent us a picture of it it looked nothing like what we wanted. We called them and they said they would make her another one to send to her but then let us know that they couldn't get one of the type of flowers that they had and they couldn't name what we wanted that they told us to begin with that they had so that they weren't going to make another arrangement so they refunded money. I would not use this florist if I were you. It pretty much ruined my moms 90th birthday present from my daughter and I. We wanted it to be special this year. They don't make good Arrangements and obviously not truthful. The one they took to my mom was ugly with nothing but cheap filler flowers in it except for some lilies that had buds sticking up out of it that they didn't even bother to open up. It was literally ugly with carnations instead of roses. Not even the same colors we wanted. We paid $120 for it and a box of chocolates. We will never use the again and totally understand why they don't have a very good rating. A huge waste of money!!!! read more

I (out of town) ordered an arrangement for a family member. Welborn called her before delivery and she received just what I ordered. Possibly even better than the photo online! We have used Welborn several times and they always do a great job. I will keep using them since when we use large national companies, we haven't always gotten what we expected. Shop local! read more

Email sent to Welborn Floral on 4/23/22. No response from Welborn. I would not buy or do business with them again. Hello. I am Tina Patton; my son purchased flowers for his date and himself for prom yesterday. I've never written an email like this but this was an upsetting experience. I picked up the flowers around 9:30am and brought them straight home. He then took them to his girlfriend and we later met them at Smothers park for photos. We were about an hour, mostly in the shade. The flowers were wilting before they could get to the grand march at 7:30. When I met with them just after the march they requested I take the flowers home, as they had wilted so much they looked foolish wearing them. One of the orchids had lost its petals, and all of the roses were drooping. I did not see any other attendees that had issues with wilting flowers, and I had seen many of them also at the park. In addition, the elastic for her corsage was so large I doubt she could have worn it as a garter. When we ordered I specified that she is a small girl. Overall it was incredibly disappointing that their flowers did not even make it to the dinner or dance. Although it was only prom and not a wedding, it was still a big night for them. read more

I walked it, told them exactly what I wanted and they made it on the spot. They took the time to let me know what they did and didn't have and introduced me to other flowers I had never seen. Even though I didn't choose them, it was nice to see new flowers. :] They were patient with my needs, considering I had no idea what I wanted. I sent an arrangement that I had purchased online to my girlfriend in Owensboro, KY. I am in Nashville, TN. Well, they delivered the arrangement, and she was thrilled... I went to visit her that weekend, and saw that they had delivered the mini-version of what I had ordered. She accused me of making a mistake until I pulled up the picture that accompanied my order, and she could plainly see that the two arrangements were not the same. I have to think that they figured I wouldn't see the arrangement. Sort of a "bait and switch"... I won't deal with these scheisters again. read more

I ordered from Welborn's website the top photo and the bottom photo is what arrived. I was so disappointed and embarrassed with the arrangement that ended up at Aunt's funeral. I don't feel the arrangement that arrived was worth $190 I ended up paying. I will use another florist next time. read more

We ordered flowers for prom. Picked them up at 9:30, took them straight home and put in fridge. My son took them to his girlfriend at 2:00, and around 4:00 we went to take pictures. I ordered flowers for a friend (mind you I live out of state) I wanted, gerber daisies, yellow roses and tulips. That all came but without the tulips without me being told. The arrangement she got didn't look appealing at all. I called to find out and the tulips apparently didn't look good for that day, so they replaced them with small white daisies. I called and spoke to the complaint person and she told me she would have a new arrangement made up. I did see this one beforehand. So they went to deliver them (and pick up the other one) but the recipient wasn't home. I then spoke to them and they said they would be home soon, told that to the store they said they would be there after 1pm, never showed up. Cliff at Welborn's was so totally amazing with my family when my brother Neil Bradley passed away. We laughed and cried and the best way to promote them is to say that when we left there, we knew the flowers would be amazingly beautiful (and they were). My friends called them directly from California to get their flowers and felt the same way when they hung up. Beautiful showroom decorated for Christmas. I used this florist for a funeral. I live out of town and wanted to send a nice gift. It was great service. I ordered online for same day delivery to the funeral home. They called me an hour later to say that they were out of stock of the gift that I ordered but upgraded me to a larger, nicer gift at no additional charge. Awesome florist! Patient, kind, took us thru the stock area to look at flowers on hand at my request. Knowledgeable, told us which flowers would hold up best, offered to replace the hydrangeas in the standing wreath if they started to wilt. Fulfilled all of our requests to place specific flowers and plants in the wreath. Made the wreath and delivered it on time and in perfect condition to the correct venue. After a bit of a fiasco involving prom flowers (from a different place) for my son's date, I went to Wellborn's practically in tears. They sent me back to design, the gentleman knew I was shaken. He took me into the cooler and picked out exactly what I wanted and it was one of the most beautiful bouquets I have ever seen. My son's date was so pleased and they looked amazing.
