No smoke detector in the room just the brackets to hold one. Said there was breakfast- a gallon of milk in the fridge- cold coffee and no food. Juice machine was broken. Checked in at 9pm, pretty sure I woke the girl at the desk. Internet code did not work. Epic fail Days Inn. We'll find somewhere else to stop between Florida and Michigan.

Congratulations, you've found it. After a young woman's car broke down- alone, 3 hours from home, she checked into this charming dump because she had no other safe option. The next morning, she sat quietly in the lobby with her childs car seat, simply waiting for a ride after learning no rental cars were available. She wasn't being loud. She wasn't taking up space. She was just existing. That was apparently too offensive for the pajama clad front desk clerk, who is also the owner (Yes, the owner) who promptly kicked her out. Not "are you ok?" Nope-just a cold demand to leave. Because God forbid a paying guest sits quietly in the lobby of the hotel, they had just paid to stay in. And let's not pretend this place is some 5 star resort with rules to uphold. If you dig into the reviews, you'll find multiple reports of bedbugs and nasty conditions. So maybe, just maybe the management should worry less about removing a stranded woman from their lobby and more about the filthy conditions. If you are into hostility and itchy nights, you'll love it here. For anyone else, I suggest literally anywhere else. Sleep in your car before you sleep here.
