I'm from the city of San Francisco I truly miss the Asian markets. I discovered this little shop last year and I am absolutely thrilled they have 95% of all the classic Asian ingredients. The staff is extremely helpful and understanding regional Chinese as well Tai, Filipino, Japanese pretty much all of the Pacific rim popular food items. A popular item in California is called Gylon which is an Asian style broccoli lightly sautéed and sesame oil with a little garlic and onion finished black bean paste is to die for, I'm so happy that you carry it. Best little store in Martin county. I absolutely love buying my kimchi here, and I always order sushi to go. The owner makes it fresh, and has no problem adjusting the ingredients to meet my needs/wants. Vicki the other owner always remembers me with a warm smile, and helpful hints. It's also the place to shop when your looking for products to make sushi, and other oriental inspired yummy treats. If you haven't taken the time to stop in a browse, make today your day.

I was looking for a quick take out/Mediterranean spot and this place came up in my search. I was…read moresurprised that it was located by a gas station store. You can order food all the way at the back of the store. They also have ready to eat food and sides in the refrigerator section. I grabbed a big slab of spanakopita for $10 (delicious once I threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes at home), hummus (also delicious - it was very smooth), and stuffed grape leaves/dolmas. I also ordered a double shot of ginger juice (which seemed more like a single shot in a tiny sauce container for $5), chicken shawarma platter and chicken Greek salad. For almost $17, the chicken shawarma was a bit disappointing in terms of portion size - it came with two sides, which we did French Fries and grilled veggies. Taste wise it was it was decent but I didn't get full from it. I went on a weekday afternoon and they had a steady stream of customers but only one guy manning everything so service was not the fastest. There were several tables available to dine in but most do take out.

A friend recommended this place to me, so I decided to try it out. I ordered the kibbe, baklava…read morewith pistachios, lamb shawarma, and Turkish coffee. The kibbe was very crispy and firm, the baklava was sweet and flaky, and the lamb shawarma was the highlight--absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it; it tasted incredibly fresh. The Turkish coffee was a bit of a letdown. I usually enjoy black coffee, but maybe I just haven't acquired the taste for it. The service was great--the server was friendly and always had a smile! The restaurant itself looks a bit run-down from the outside, but the inside is relatively clean. It's nothing fancy, but it's a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. I'll definitely be coming back for the lamb shawarma and baklava, and I'd love to check out more Lebanese snacks and goodies!

My experience at this supercenter…read morehas run the gamut from smiles and a restoration in my faith in humanity because of friendly, competent employees who strove to go the extra mile all the way down to crushing disappointment with the occasional employee who really couldn't give a flip about anything. It really is a hit or miss kind of thing. But I remain eternally optimistic. I often wonder if this is just an Walmart thing or not. I can't understand why if something is available in several different flavors they either don't have the one that I want or are out of it. This doesn't seem to be unique to this store either. I've experienced it at Walmarts all around the country. In a similar vein, frequently when I find something that I like, it doesn't seem to take that long for them to discontinue it. Then when I ask the people in charge of that particular product, they all seem to shrug their shoulders and say "well that's just Corporate". So it all seems to also be the luck of the draw on whom you get to help you. Some of these employees seem to be very unhappy for whatever reasons and maybe they want to share. Personally, I would say that if you were not happy in your job then you should find a job that does make you happy. On the other hand, I have been fortunate to find some associates who are kind, helpful, patient, and wonderful and they have my deepest gratitude for all the ways they have helped me. They are stoic, dedicated, and devoted to their customers and I think Walmart should do everything in their power to keep them because they are the company's greatest asset. May God bless them each and every one of them. It's good to know that Walmart is an American company because in some ways it's a lot like the country itself. The stores are ginormous and while they may not have everything one might want, they've still got a lot of stuff! It's also made up of a lot of people from all over the world and they're working hard to feed their families and improve the company. Things aren't perfect but we're all still trying to live our best lives in our pursuit of happiness. That's America!
