From large tools such as planer's, band saws, exhaust equipment to DIY wood turning kits (garden trowel, ice cream scoop, pizza cutter, etc.) to wood shaping and wood working classes, they have it all. Including the wood. And the drills and bits. And they have a small classroom setting for teaching on site. It truly was eye opening as a specialty store for the serious woodworking craftsman. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Store was bright and instructive with good displays and explanations for the tools. Several large machine floor models were also present. If you have a friend who is into or interested in getting into wood crafting, this is their candy store.

I drove the 10 miles to get there at no such item on the shelf. I was encouraged by the liquid propane sale in the flyer. I went to the manager and before I could even say anything, he said, how can I disappoint you today? Who says that especially in a management position you have the wrong guy running the ship here. I have 2-30 pound tanks and asked if we could be charged for 3-20 pound tanks the manager said it doesn't work that way. Cut and dry and he walked away. I won't be back. I will drive additional miles into Greenville. I will spend my dollars at a location that works with me to figure out solutions to my questions.

The people at the top--those at the front counter and in charge--rarely smile, offer no greeting, and seem irritated by simple customer interaction. A "thank you," a smile, "would you like it in a bag?" or even "have a nice day"--none of those basic human courtesies seem to exist here. What's more disappointing is that this behavior seems to trickle down. Whether by example or expectation, the culture has become one of indifference. I've given this place several chances, hoping the vibe might shift, but it hasn't. So I've started shopping elsewhere--even if it means driving farther or paying a bit more. I'm not just buying hardware; I'm choosing where I feel respected.
