I'm new to the area and have shopped at this location twice. I drive past two other Home Depot locations to get to this store. I find the people here very helpful, friendly, and concerned. Plenty of items to pick from. Stock is plentiful. I feel that I received a good price on all the items that purchased. Keep up the great work! read more

The cashiers are friendly, but I needed help loading some things and it seemed like there was no one to help me. They called multiple times for someone, but I waited and waited... Another customer ended up helping me horrible customer service with the people who should be helping load. read more

My daughter and I stopped here today just to have a look around. It appeared to us that this store had gotten a bit pricey. We looked at the bags of rubber mulch and the 6.99 per bag price was what we considered to be top tier price wise. Giving credit where credit is due; the store is neat and well stocked! Associates are not hard to find and they are friendly and helpful! I just can't get over the high prices in general. We will shop here another time when a good sale is on! read more

We bought a special order interior door and storm door with installation nearly a year ago. It took three hours to order the door itself because the salesperson hadn't been adequately trained on the computer system. He asked another person, who was the department head, for help and she would just bark one word answers to him even though I was sitting there waiting. The door took twice as long to be made. When it finally arrived in the store the installer, Nathan Richmond, who claimed to be the regional expert, didn't include the cover for the storm door screws, which are silver in a black frame. The installer didn't install the storm door lock plate so the door will not lock. I called multiple times and Mr. Richmond said he would correct these issues but he hasn't nearly one year later. I will not use this store for special orders again and strongly discourage others to do so as well. read more

The person today who helped the man with cancer today was rude to him he asked for help with 2 cabinet s never in my life would I treat a person like he or she this store really needs more manner tracing for there staff telling a customer it's not my job or problem raising there voice yelling move to the man if they took the time they would hav seen he was on portable oxygen just rude well guess I will find new place to buy stuff from I wont step back in this hd store plenty of mom an pop hardware store to buy from list a customer because of your rude employee read more

Don't ever purchase carpet through Home Depot!! After only having my carpet installed for 3 months the carpet started to have loops that were popping up in random spots in the carpet. Once we would vacuum the floor these little loops would get caught in our vacuum and get pulled out which would cause large strips of carpet Togo missing on our floor. We contacted Home Depot that had a guy come out who just blamed it on the vacuum. The carpet is onlyTHREE MONTHS OLD!! NowHome Depot will not do anything about it so I'm very unhappy to say the lease. read more

The mgr., Chris and employee Marvin were patient , kind and courteous ..But everyone in the large appliance department needs to be smiling and know there products. Bill, for one never smiles...he looks like he is doing "time". These employees should be well trained and know their products upside down and inside out. No one knew anything about the installation and codes for selling a gas range. I spent 4 hours setting up my order......only to be shot down by Piedmont gas saying that these people should know that 18" is the most you can separate a gas stove from cabinet clearance....its public knowledge . I checked in WITH CORPORATE Home Depot and they knew the specs. . I lost four hours of my time and even worse Home Depot lost a $2000.00 sale. A really disappointed customer. read more

I bought 6 pots of mums on the Eastside HD and they lasted well over a month. They were the prettiest for the cost of any around. I think I paid a little over $6 for each basket. I went back last week and bought 2 pots for gifts and again they were the best around. Customer service has gotten so much better. read more

I do not know what has happened to the Dorman Center Home Depot in Spartanburg. We used to get very good service, and people where very helpful. The last three times my sister and I have been in there we had trouble getting help. We USED to prefer going their, than to Lowes. However, today just cinched it for me! I am 62, my sister is 64. We have been purchasing lumber and items to remodel our home. I ask at the check out if someone would please help us load our car. The past two times she and I wound up loading it all ourselves because NO ONE ever came to help us, after three requests. Today I was by myself. I again asked for assistance in loading the lumber I had purchased. I went back in again 20 minutes later to ask again. At that moment when I again asked their were three employees standing near the register all chatting and laughing with each other. As SOON as I asked, it was like someone pushed a button and all three took off in different directions! I went back out and again WAITED. Finally I started loading it myself when a very kind STORE CUSTOMER asked me if I needed some help. I thought it was terrible that I had to impose on a store customer to help me load what I had just purchased. If this had been a ONE TIME issue I wouldn't have bothered lodging this review. However, this has happened the past three times we have been in there, which has been within the last month. We own a business ourselves in Spartanburg. If I EVER found out that our employees acted this way in our shop, they wouldn't be employed by us for long. I might ADD that it was NOT particularly busy in there today. It seems that the few employees who DO help the customers, are greatly outnumbered by those who don't' care to assist. I don't know if management has changed, I DO know that many of the helpful, knowledgable individuals we used to find in this particular store evidently are no longer there. Something is being badly handled here. We will take our business back to Lowes. At least I can find help there most of the time. read more
