Provided great estimate summary and documentation. He was patient with us having some starts and stops in making the decision over a six-month period. Then, when we were ready, he brought out the shingle samples to hold up to the house. We pulled the trigger, he put us on the schedule and bang it was done when he said it would be done. They took off old shingles in one day, then shingled it with architecture grade the next day. Then, gutters on day three and we were done. We have a TRANSFERABLE lifetime materials warrenty with 25 years on parts and labor. So guess what? We ain't worried about the roof. Two other companies either never responded or didn't show up for scheduled estimate and wasted my time. The excavation wasn't deep enough; the concrete was not leveled properly; the brush mark show the amateur installation technique. Cigarette butts everywhere, very little clean up, and a rude business owner. One of the types that does nothing wrong, and will argue with you. Which is probably why he owns his own business, because he couldn't take constructive criticism. He also pulled the permit, charged the homeowner, and then would not provide a copy for our records. The town wouldn't provide a copy of it either. One would think that maybe the contractor and the town are into something corrupt. Here is my take: Do not hire, if you do, make sure you are a construction manager to oversee the work. Good luck.
