Megan was so great with both of us. She allowed me to sit in on more sessions than their policy states and only when I was ready did she take my son back by himself. She made me feel like she was my partner in navigating the whole speech thing. When I can't make it to take him to his appointments, she'll send videos of his progress and a little note. My son loves going to see her and doesn't want to leave the wait area afterwards! Jody, the owner, is also extremely kind and cares about all the kids and parents in her program. When a member of the staff was going to go on maternity leave and some of her responsibilities were going to be passed on to our therapist, Jody emailed me directly to make sure I was comfortable with switching my son's teacher. I expressed some concerns (he was very shy and just loved Megan at this point) and Jody quickly assured me they'd work around my son and my concerns. I can't tell you how wonderful it was for me that they went above and beyond to accommodate us. All of the people at CDC are truly incredible and will love on your child while they help them grow. She is adamant about signing all these documents but if you need to give any input on your child's well being it's frowned upon. If you do not agree to twice weekly lessons don't bother calling. They do not want to hear any feedback and she attempted to tell me she's not charging my credit card so I would not write a bad review. In addition, I asked how long it's expected to see results. I was hoping by end of summer and she responded "at least." Needless to say my card was stopped and I was incredibly disappointed with my overall experience.

I was lucky enough to find Molly as a recommendation from a local moms group, and decided to reach…read moreout. She was super responsive from the start and made it easy to get started. I started my son the summer of 2021 at the age of 3. He was behind on speech development, and it was really difficult for anyone other than me to understand what he was saying -which made him be extra shy around anyone new because they'd ask him to repeat what he was saying to try to understand. With him getting ready to start school (Pre-K) in the Fall I really wanted him to feel more confident speaking up and to be understood. Molly has worked wonders. She was able to get my son to open up and really get into his sessions (he was a pretty shy boy) and has made a huge impact on my sons speech. I was so much more comfortable with him starting pre-k because I knew he could be understood. He has been thriving at school, and I attribute a ton of that to Molly. She still works with us, does a great job at periodically doing tests and giving us an update on where he is landing in comparison to his age group. My son loves "Miss Molly" and looks forward to their sessions. She finds ways to keep things fresh with new games and ways to incorporate their speech work. I highly recommend Molly! Jessica is amazing and we are so grateful for her and the time she spent with our daughter. Our…read moredaughter was diagnosed as a "late talker." Her receptive speech was in the normal range, but her expressive speech was delayed. At two years old, our daughter was saying only about 5 words. We discussed speech therapy with her pediatrician at her 18 month well check, then again at her 2 year well check. When we were told that she should have been saying at least 50 words by 24 months, we knew that speech therapy was necessary. I contacted Jessica to start the process, and during our first phone conversation, I knew she was the right choice for our daughter. Jessica was extremely patient. She took time with me explaining the process of speech therapy, going over options, and overall, easing my mind about everything. After the initial evaluation, Jessica was able to give us a diagnosis, an overall plan, and an estimated timetable for therapy. Our daughter had sessions with Jessica for about 5 months. Jessica was very flexible with our family's schedule. She came to our home, as well as my parents' home, as they took care of our daughter a few days a week. Jessica immediately bonded with our daughter. She would sit with her on the floor and interact with her in a very calm and patient manner. Our daughter always thought that she and Jessica were just playing. She loved the games they played and the activities they did together. She looked forward to her visits every week. Jessica involved all family members in the therapy process, giving us tools to be able to work with our daughter on skills in our everyday life. She provided us with strategies to be able to reinforce what she had been working on with our daughter. All the tactics and routines that were part of her therapy plan were made known to everyone, and this approach, we truly believe, hastened her development of speech. We saw improvements in our daughter's expressive speech very quickly. Not only was she saying new words, her overall demeanor changed. Before she started speech therapy, she would get easily frustrated, as it was difficult for her to communicate with us. As her speech developed and she was able to express herself more to the people in her life, she became more content and calm. I had a mild stutter for basically my whole life. I was always fluent enough to basically get by in…read moremost situations, but my stutter was bad enough to lead to major embarrassment in high-stress social situations or public speaking situations. I reached out to Mark because my stutter was starting to get worse and I'm really glad I did. The program I went through with Mark really helped me become more fluent.
