Wellbridge has incredible counselors and support staff. But what really helped me was the community of patients being allowed to formulate their own recovery paths. With groups developed and ran by patients for patients I felt autonomous and empowered to take my recovery in my own hands. No one can do this alone and Wellbridge provides support from counselors while providing a sense of belonging within a beautiful community. In many ways they gave me my life back and I am grateful and blessed to be a part of their alumni. I am planning on attending their alumni events and hope to speak there in the future. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone struggling. Johnathan was my counselor and he was spectacular. Deanna's groups were impactful as well. But I can't say enough about the community feel. Go here and get your life back like I have! read more

People on here think a rehabs responsibility is to assure long term sobriety for themselves or for a loved one if they go. Wellbridge gave me a solid foundation in my sobriety, they showed me multiple paths where I can continue my recovery journey outside of there and helped me get into a sober house before I discharged. I had an amazing experience here. From the moment I arrived, I knew that everything was going to be ok. The staff was exceptional. When I say staff, I mean everyone from the front desk to the cleaning personnel, to the counselors, cafeteria staff, nurses, I could go on and on. The facility is gorgeous, and the treatment is A+. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this "facility". There is absolutely no improvement in my son/step son at all! The counselors must get their certification from some correspondence course or need intense, additional training from what I'm reading on here. They don't seem to care & do not return phone calls. They do not know what their dealing with & have no intention of finding out by working w/Both sets of Parents. He is still an alcoholic & drug addict as far as we are concerned & we can tell by his Cocky Attitude over the Ph. My husband was given a 1PM appt. on a Sunday from Chadds Ford, PA to Long Island. Which is a 5 hr drive. They were unwilling to do a Zoom for him. Counselors STINK! He needs long term care & isn't getting it. Clinical Director is unwilling to include or call my husband but thinks he is the KEY to his sons problems. MY Husband is the best MAN I know & I also devoted every available minute I could to proberly raising him from 2-12 is when he returned to his biological Mother full time, w/us slowly being removed from his life. We've always been available for him until he became abusive to us. This Place does not give HELP. It coddles. 33 is a Man that's made an a mess of his life with every advantage given to him. So sorry his mother sent him here. NOT EVEN A 1 Star. We've reached out but to no avail. Ms. Lopez is the worst. read more

My son was accepted to wellbridge on a sunday afternoon. He was placed in detox unit with 6 days of binge drinking given atavin and was having detox symtoms. I was notified 24 hrs later he was progressing. he would have a psy eval ( standard ) on tuesday am. Tuesday afternoon he called me not knowing what was going on and said he was being sent to south oaks facility for psy eval dual harm concern. strapped to a strecher and transported to south oaks. South oaks called me not knowing anything about why he was there. i informed them of wellbridges thoughts. his psy eval was clear and was to go back to wellbridge. However they would not answer phone or email for return. so he was left under detox state drugged and dismissed from south oaks and left in waiting room for pick up by me tuesday night. only to find out wellbridge forced him to sign out while drugged state and detoxing. I personally hold Andrew Drazan CEO, Edwin Hakami DO and Jenifer Neithercut responsible for the failure of care and undue stress this put on me and my family cause he relapsed further. BTW i was informed by anonymous worker at wellbridge these three where directly the decision makers on situation and knowingly did not respond to email or calls from south nassau for the return of my son to the program. i have filed several complaints with NYS mental health dept and office of professional services for hakamis DO license. their staff is extremely inexperienced and inappropriate. I saw staff members try to come onto vulnerable patients. Everyone is disposable in Wellbridge's eyes. employees get treated luke shit and in return the patients do too! read more

I have never been in a hospital or facility with people that have the hearts like the people at Wellbridge. Their staff from the owner to the house keeping staff are the most kind and considerate people I have ever met. All people in this field should be this compassionate do to recovery being a life and death situation. I am a recent patient that was at Wellbridge for 28 days and have been touched be every single employee there. I have been given every means of therapy to deal with childhood trauma and worked with recovery coaches one on one to deal with the future anyone would desire as a recovered addict an alcoholic. Even in down time in the facility I have sat and talked with BHT's that gave me great insight to an amazing life in recovery. I felt compelled to mention a few of these amazing people! I thank Angie, Greg, Emily, Kay ,Eric , Sierra ,Melissa, Lauren, Ally Andrew ,Dan and Shaniqua. And I can't forget the nurses starting with Ellen,Eugene, Emmy ,Vicky ,Crystal, Nicole, Kim, Rob , Sue and Yvonna. A special thanks to Corrina. Wellbridge has and excellent team, beautiful grounds, and caring team of professionals.

My husband went for treatment back in December 2021. He came home after 27 days and has never looked back. He has been sober going on 550 days (give or take). A little back story..., after 14 yrs with a great company, he started having trouble doing his job and was on the brink of losing his position. But that is all in the past. His optimism on life is now at 110%. This is truly a miraculous recovery. What amazes me is that it's the first time he ever sought help and went for treatment. Thank you Wellbridge. read more
