Setup an appointment for a 2PM appointment. We were called back at 4:30! The tv screen up front was useless. People would be called back. Nothing would change. You would the wait time show a shorter time and then go back to 1hr. The only positive on their efficient and front office would be free bottles of water. I suspect to combat dehydration. Why 3 star instead of 1? Well, if you survive long enough to go back. The Drs we saw were fantastic. They had an excellent bedside manner. They also didn't hesitate to triage the problem, take an X-ray (I was already thinking of demanding one), diagnose the problem, and get us on our way. I am really upset about how this urgent care is handling their business with the Covid situation. I scheduled my apt for 6:25pm. They said my symptoms meant I needed a telehealth apt which is okay I understand. I received two text. One said I had a balance to pay before I was seen. The next said it's almost time for your apt. I called the front desk to let them know I was in the parking lot for my 6:25 apt and she didn't ask my name just said okay I'll let them know and hung up. I called back at 6:35 and was informed I was removed from the list for not paying. They never called to tell me. I sat in their parking lot for 45 minutes feeling like complete crap and only found out because I called. Due to covid they keep their doors locked so I couldn't just run inside to pay. I figured they would contact me at the time of my apt to pay. Finally saw Dr. Via telehealth. My symptoms were a cross of covid and strep. They ran both and said they'd call with results. Dr did not do any type of physical exam. Just assumed covid. I was sent home with mucinex samples and cough drops and told if they don't call in 72 hours to call them. So no point in going to the dr. My husband had an appointment today and he done the fast pass for 10 am. He checked in when he got there and they let him sit for 4 hrs!! He went to the front desk and asked about the wait and they never checked him in apparently. He was sitting there waiting and no one even asked if he'd been helped or anything. When ppl are sick, no one wants to sit for 4 hrs anywhere, they'd like to be taken care of. Geez, at least check on ppl if they've been sitting in the lobby for an extended amount of time!! Not only are the nurses/physicians rude, I have given them my insurance both time I went in on the weekends. They told me it was scanned and then billed me both times having them call me daily for payments that I do not owe. And then they are threatening to give me to collections when I gave them my insurance multiple times. Figure your shit out and get better physicians. You're helping sick patients, if you don't like dealing with people get a different job. Worst urgent care I've ever been to. I understand that COVID has made things difficult for businesses, but Wellfast just does not care about its patients. I went in to be seen one day and learned that they had not been taking walk-ins. No big deal, times are tough. So I made an appointment for the next day. Now, one would expect that if I made an appointment, they would be ready to see me around that time. Nope. I had to wait for over an hour an a half to be seen by a doctor. The doctor was not helpful at all and seemed like he just wanted to get me out as soon as he could. I love that the website says "WellFast specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of common, non-life or limb threatening illnesses or injuries." Thay was not my experiance. I went in with swollen hands and feet I currently can't even use theu are so sore. The doctor ran two test, didn't listen to me, and tried to give me the same over the counter medication I had told her I've been trying for two days and wasn't doing anything. so she gave me a stronger anti-inflammatory and that was it. My wife is sick and needed a simple doctor's note for work. The doctor she spoke to via televisit insisted she come in for a rapid COVID test. This "urgent care" does not live up to the name whatsoever. They are neither urgent nor do they care about you. We waited over an hour to get what we came for. Seriously, go somewhere else. I had to make an appointment to be seen for a walk-in clinic. Had a 9am appointment and waiting over 45 minutes so far and no one else is in the lobby. Was told they only have one exam room so I had to wait. Had bad experience once before when I took my wife in for an X-ray of her foot. They made us fill out an application on line then they had use come in for an 11 am appointment. Spent an hour sitting there watching many others go in before us. Once in they took X-ray and left room. After an hour I asked what we were waiting for. Was told the X-ray tech needed to read it before we could go. He was at lunch and they expected us to wait another hour for tech to get back from lunch read more

The front desk receptionist was very rude. Please be a little more in tune to the patients you have coming into the facility. We don't feel good, are hurting and don't want to be there as much as you acted like you didn't, etc. To hand me 4 pages of paper work to fill out before being seen in ridiculous, and then on top of that acting like it was an inconvenience that I (and others) was even there. To top it all off, I was there for over an hour.....seemed very under staffed and the nurse that took me back was in the worst of hurries. Took less than a minute to do a manual blood pressure (sorry takes longer than that) and left my jacket on for it. They also took my temp with a temporal thermometer which came back as below body temperature, (might want to check that) which I know was wrong because one of the main reasons I was seen was because I was running a temp. at school. Was not even swabbed for what I came in for-because what I overheard is that they were out of strep tests... and ruled out flu, because it hasn't been seen in Oklahoma yet.... wow.... so what if I have the flu???? Symptoms are pretty consistent with all the flu symptoms posted all over the posters on the wall in the facility....at a glance symptoms are consistent with strep, yet you didn't test for anything ? My granddaughter came here with her 7 month old son to take care of me after surgery. On the 4th day, the baby became ill for the first time. Low fever, vomiting and in great distress. They refused to take her insurance and offered no help other than a huge ER. She came back to my house devastated. I offered, of course, to pay for it but she was very unhappy about her treatment. Now, the only option is the ER where I believe it is more dangerous for a baby. Thanks Lawton. Since I had to move here, you have never failed to not disappoint me. read more

My wife has been feeling major pain in her abdominal region for about a week now. Many kinds of questions have filled her mind about what could be wrong with her, self diagnosing ourselves when we are not medical doctors is normally never a good option. Fear can cripple the minds of people who read webMD every day so we would rather just go see a doctor and figure out A. The main problem and B. A treatment option to correct the wrong. Today my wife reluctantly went to the Urgent Care on East Gore in Lawton. Before she got there she stopped at a gas station to buy a bottle of water figuring that they would most likely want to test her urine. When she was sitting in the waiting room after providing our insurance to the front office she asked them if they were going to be testing her urine (because she had to go like right now..) The front desk lady said something to the effect of "Oh well Umm I can ask, but I doubt they are going to take it." Another voice of actual intelligence was heard from the other room saying "Uh no, lets get that, it is better to have it and not need it." Finally when my wife gets to see the doctor she comes in and says "Well we ran your urine and your not pregnant, but you are right your pain has something to do with your bladder, a pulled muscle or your uterus." The doctors final educated statement was "Take some tylenol and wait it out." Never once was my wife asked when was your last period? Are you on any type of birth control? Out of frustration after talking to my distraught wife, I call the urgent care in hopes of trying to get a first person account from the doctor that could reason to my why the magical answer was simply "take tylenol and wait it out." But the staff and doctor were too chicken shit to answer any questions and simply kept deflecting with things like "I can't have the doctor just call you back without a complaint." I understand HIPPA and its bull shit that is associated with it, but why in the heck was no other test done or questions asked? I guess even doctors who pass school with straight D's are still doctors at the end of the day. Save your copay and just go to a real ER because this place is a waste of time. read more

Both times I've visited in the last month, I've not had to wait more than 15 minutes, and both doctors were very good! Once on the west - Doc Diaz and once on the east - Doc Delarosa. Very nice staff at both as well! read more
