The Wellington Beach Amphitheater is a 3,200 square foot entertainment facility in the Wellington Town Center Promenade. The amphitheater was funded by a Palm Beach County grant. It opened on July 3, 2010 with a performance to celebrate Independence Day. The amphitheater lawn can accommodate up to 1,500 people and has state of the art lighting and sound systems. The amphitheater is used for a variety of free events and concerts. It is the home of the Garlic Festival, Lakeside Market, food truck nights, shows, films, art festivals, the Green Market, and many more community events throughout the year. Events are typically held on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturday evenings. You can bring a blanket or chair and set up on the well maintained, expansive lawn. Restrooms are located nearby at Scott's Place Playground. I came for the Lakeside Market which included a concert by country music band, Rough Shot. If there is a drawback to this venue it would have to be parking. There is dedicated parking but it can get limited quickly during larger events. There is a shopping plaza next door but there are signs warning to not park there during events and they strictly enforce it.

A queen repop band that was absolutely fantastic! Thank you! Wellington.

My husband and I love Wellington amphitheater. They have a great community with amazing shows. We come here at least once a week to watch concerts. Shows are typically top notch tribute bands. People come from all over just go to Wellington amphitheater.

I didn't catch her name but the woman who greeted us first was so warm & welcoming. We went for their goat yoga class and we were pleasantly surprised by a tour of the farm & getting to meet & feed some of the other animals. Manish told us all about all the animals & the farm's sustainable energy and made sure we were enjoying the pre-class tour with lots of jokes. We got to carry the goats from their pen to the yoga area and it was such a cool experience. The class was great -- a good workout with lots of entertainment from jumping baby goats. Our instructor told us about the symbolism of having a goat place all 4 hooves on your back being a gateway to releasing any tension or negativity. Even with a class of about 15 people, they made sure to give all of us plenty of opportunities for the goats to get onto our backs. Those of us who are usually a little nervous around excited animals even felt comfortable enough to play with the adorable baby goats and we were all sad to leave them. If you're looking for a calming, nature focused experience, I would definitely recommend visiting 24 Karat Ranch! It's run by such sweet people and the baby goats are adorable. They offer a bunch of other activities as well so definitely give them a try.

We have traveled all over the world in the past 50 years and I have photographed, shot videos and wrote about many of the hotels and resorts we stayed at. We live in New Jersey but visit Florida often to visit our two sons and 5 grandchildren. Of course, we visit our friends and other family members too. This trip was a tough one because we had a bad flight, last seats on the plane from Newark to Ft. Lauderdale and we arrived around midnight. Rented our car and got stuck on I-95 North for two hours to travel about 20 miles. We didn't realize they had closed a large portion of 95 for night construction projects and we sat in crawling traffic for about two hours. By the time we arrived at the hotel we were beaten and hungry. We hadn't eaten all day and I had stomach pains. We got to the hotel and explained to Charles their night manager what had happened and asked if there was anywhere we could still get some food, anything. He said he has some bagels, cream cheese and some other goodies in the kitchen that they use for their complimentary breakfasts. We said we would take anything. He took us into their kitchen to open the refrigerator and took out some bagels, cream cheese, yogurt and proceeded to set up a toaster so he could toast the bagels for us. He has some orange juice and coffee too. I can tell you we were so relieved and happy to have someone to care for us when we were so very tired and hungry. Not only did he feed us but he gave us a beautiful suite that was handicap enabled. It was huge as you can see in the photos. The hotel is brand new, so the rooms were designed with all the tech features including light blocking electric shade and a more transparent shade to let some light in. We overlooked the pool which was fantastic. Great view of a lake with the new condo's built across the lake. The next day we had the pleasure of meeting their Assistant Manager Matthew Willhelm, who was also a real gentleman. We told him about Charles and he agreed that he was a great guy. Now that morning we enjoyed a nice light breakfast. Freshly cut up fruit, cereal, both dry and oatmeal, bagels, waffles, eggs, and other breakfast foods. Nice to get up from a sound nights sleep in a great bed to go down and have your free breakfast. One problem they had that I was happy to solve. If you make your own waffles you had a problem getting them to release in the waffle iron. So the nice ladies that worked there would come over and after a couple of minutes wrangling with the waffles would get them out, a little worse then they should be. I knew they needed a releasing spray that they didn't have. You spray it onto the waffle iron, add the mix, close the cover, flip it over, wait for the buzzer and open it and it is then easy to release the waffles. Of course, I write many articles and knew that Costco had the spray I needed. So we went over that day, bought two large cans of no calorie spray and brought it back to the hotel manager Matthew. Next morning I showed everyone at breakfast what to do guest and the staff and they all had big smiles when we made our first batch of waffles. The supervisor who overseas breakfast gave me a big hug to thank me and the women that worked their as well as a few guests did the same. Wow for $5 I was a hero. Back to the Pool... Their pool is truly beautiful and I did my laps to burn off some of my breakfast. We were alone with the exception of two women at the pool. It was like having our own private pool. Loads of towels available, new lounge chairs with umbrellas, fantastic. We even invited my son and his three small children over for some pool time fun and they loved it. We stayed at the hotel for a total of 4 nights and can't say enough about this great new hotel. Not too far from the Fort Lauderdale airport as well. We love Marriott one of the world's largest hotel and resort operations. All proceeds goes towards the You Farm's nonprofit aiding third world countries and it's a win win for both sides. Even though it has that part, we primarily enjoyed the pumpkin patch event. There were plenty of pumpkins to pick from and a lot of photo opportunities around the farm. They had vendors selling food, drinks, and jewelry. The kids were able to paint their pumpkins and add glitter to make it super sparkly. There was music going on that the kids could dance to and there was even a gem contest. The kids had the opportunity to go out into the field and find gems. One of the owners gave out prizes for who could bring up the brightest gem from the field. I would definitely come back for other events in the future and it was affordable.
