This is hands down my favorite place! I love everything about this facility. The office always makes sure that you understand how your insurance will cover procedures. I've heard others be told how payment works, and have heard people ask how many sessions they have left that will be covered by insurance with no complaints or groans. Marcy is probably my favorite part of my visit. She remembers absolutely everyone's name and the time and days of the week they like to come in. She also sends reminder texts for appointments so they're not forgotten. What's best is that she is very flexible with appointments. There have been a few times I've been sick or had an emergency come up and she adjusts my appointments without issue or penalty. The massage therapists are outstanding. Everyone that I've meet have been awesome. They're understanding about your pains and don't take offense if you let them know they're being a little rougher than you can handle on your injuries. Likewise, if you go often, they'll also remember what massage they need to do, even if you don't go to them every visit. They are also great with remembering patients which makes the entire visit feel like a visit to see family instead of a physician. Dr. Chris is awesome! He's quick, patient, and also does wholistic treatments such as acupuncture. I love the level of transparency I get and the suggestions to make things better for me. My son and I both have been going to Wellness first for over 3 months . I've suffered from fibromyalgia for over 20 years , after a flare up that had me off work for a whole year, my doctor referred me to Dr Chris, I was skeptical but went with an open mind. It took about 4 weeks of treatment before I started to notice a difference but I was surprisedly amazed at any improvement at all. I'm not going to lie and say my fibromyalgia is cured but the treatment I receive has made the quality of living much better. Okay, so let me say I have good and bad to say about this place. I'd never been to a chiropractor before so wasn't sure what to expect. Was experiencing some back pain so went in. I was explained the billing process which seemed complicated and strange to me. Rather than me pay a small copay each visit they offered me a years worth of like 32 visits or something along those lines for 5 copays so maybe $150 or so. Seemed wierd but whatever. I regret doing this as I was basically forced to commit to them prior to having my first visit. Basically here's how a visit goes you either go get a 15 minute massage first then see the doctor for 2 minutes and get cracked once or you get cracked and then go get a 15 minute massage. The doctor, staff, and receptionists were all super friendly really nice people so I gotta give them credit for that. Make you feel welcome, super friendly, seem like they care so props for that. That said I feel like the doctor has waaaayyy too many patients to really give anyone any quality care. Like another reviewer said it's like a rotating door of people in and out running people to different rooms, etc. I feel this is less a medical center and more a spa to be honest. A dcotor can't spend 1 minute with me diagnose me and come up with a plan of attack, I realy doubt things work this way. Also, this was my first chiropractor but having spoken to others who have been it's much more medical like xrays, measurements of how far your head can turn, none of this was done with me. He talked to me for 2 minute sand told me what was wrong. I would also only get one crack on one side each time which struck me as wierd not that I know what they should be doing. Overall here's my take on the place. The doctor is a young handsome guy, no I'm not gay I'm just saying good clean cut good looking muscular guy in a tight polo, a couple hot female receptionists, flat screen tv's. Just seemed more trendy than medical to me. Attractive receptionist, modern looking sorta upscale office. To me it seems more like a spa than a doctors office, not saying thats a bad thing in terms of ambiance but I just don't feel like its a truly medical experience, I think its a way to get insurance to pay for your massages. As far as my compaints, I felt I was always pressured to come in. Even if I didn't feel like my back and neck was bothering me, even if I was busy they were trying to get me into there 2-3 times a week, I just don't have timefor that nor do I really need that. At their pace they would have run me out of appointments after a month or two vs a year like it was supposed to be. I wanted to ration mine out as I needed them. I actually wound up stopping going because I was always feeling pressured to go and just didn't have time for it. I was kind of annoyed by one other incident that happenned. I had paid for the 30 or 32 visits and probably only used maybe 6 of them. I stopped going and just chalked up the other 20 sum visits I had left to a loss. Well a few months later I get a call from a collections agency. Wellness first sent me to a collection agency over $25. Not only did I not owe this money but if anything they owe me money. I called and left a message kinda pissed and I do have to say the receptionist texted me back about 10 minutes later and apologized and said she would take care of it. After some time has passed I honestly wouldn't mind going back if they'd tone it down a bit in terms of pressuruing you to come in so much. Honestly Im kinda embaressed to go back after yelling at them and threatening to sue them if they ruined my credit score lol. Gotta give their massage therapists some credit as well. If you've only had massages at chain palces or happy ending shops you really gotta get a real theraputic massage they really do work out knots in your muscles and do a really good job way above and beyond most other relaxing massage type places. Honestly if it weren't for the high pressure to come in all the time I'd probably have at the very least continued going there for the rest of the year I paid for. After I stopped going and then left a voicemail yelling at them I was kinda embaressed to go back. This place isn't bad, it's a nice office, nice people, relaxing and does help with sore neck back and other issues. My main point however is if you have serious back problems or health issues or were in a car accident and want more than just relaxation I'd recommend going somewhere thats more medical than spa Thats my 2 cents. read more

The Doctor is very good at teaching you the the difference between Fact and Faith: Fact is when an ordinary Doctor diagnoses illness in a report. DO NOT COME HERE FOR FIBROMYALGIA TREATMENT I called and inquired about their fibromyalgia treatment and $49 initial exam treatment. They have an ad on google that pops up every time I google fibromyalgia. They may have good marketing and good info about treatment online , but I went in for a month and half spent over $600 and no results. Everyone was very friendly but in retrospect they NEVER offered anything they "claimed" on the website . Like nutrition advice, food sensitivity test, nutritional supplements, acupuncture, exercises, good sleeping habits . I don't know if they are false claims or they are just so concerned with getting people in and out and not helping people feel better. I was only offered 15 min. Massage and 15 min chiro appt. which turned into even shorter appts depending on how busy they were. I feel that it is false advertisement and they should take it off their website if they aren't going to offer those services to patients . I will not be back ! read more

Medicine & Relaxation should not be like fast-food drive-thru service. Even with injuries or medical conditions you only get minutes with the chiropractor. "Dr. Chris" is kind and seems knowledgeable but doesn't have the time to provide you with any of it. The revolving door of non-stop clients creates an atmosphere comparable to over-crowded Emergency Rooms instead of a doctor's office. UPDATE: My original review was EXACTLY how I felt after seeing this chiropractor. I still feel this way and I would absolutely NOT go back to this chiropractor. I would absolutely NOT advise friends or family to go to this chiropractor. Each person has an opinion we are entitled to and my opinion is this is a 1-star establishment. read more

Great practice! I would recommended Dr. Oberheide to anyone (and I have)! My wife, my cousin, and two friends are now regular patients. I initially went for lower back pain. During my visit with the doctor he explained the sources of lower back pain, and outlined a treatment plan with me. I then went in for a massage and it was like the therapist could see the pain in my back! It hurt at first, but I felt SO much better that night and the next day. Since then I've had a handful of sports injuries and have only trusted the doctor and staff at Wellness First to take care of me. I've read the reviews about how busy they are, but I've never been discouraged by the crowd, and Marcy does an awesome job of accommodating you while you wait. 3.5 years ago my wife started going to Dr. Chris for acupuncture to help with her asthma and a year of monthly bronchitis and pneumonia. Since she had such positive results (completely off all asthma medication and no lung infections since 2010) I thought I would try out Dr. Chris' office for an old snowboarding injury that had never gotten completely resolved. I had a nagging pain in my shoulder that would prevent me from sleeping from time to time. Since going to Dr. Chris and his team my injury has improved a lot and the pain has subsided. It took some time, but I am really seeing the value. Overall I would recommend Dr. Chris for acupuncture and pain relief. read more

WATCH YOUR BILLS!!!! I went in for 4 acupuncture treatments and they billed my insurance company almost $600! Marcy told me that I would be covered by my insurance, which was a bold face lie!! I was not covered for acupuncture so they billed BCBS for 3 to 4 spinal manipulations each visit. When I questions Marcy the office manger about this she was defensive and rude! The first visit was great, I even called my wife to tell her "I've found my chiropractic office". The Dr said he'd put me on a 2 week treatment plan to treat the root cause of my problems, even had an MT loosen up my muscles before he cracked my joints. All good. Sound plans. Next visit, the Dr cracked my joints, then sent me on my way to see a different MT. She asked me what's wrong, I told her the whole story... 10-15 minutes later of tugging and pulling on my neck, I was sent on my way. Third visit, I was sent to a 3rd MT who again asked me the whole story. Massaged a bit -- better this time -- then sent me back to the Dr who crack my joints and sent me on my way. What happened to the targeted and specific healing program? Why do I have to explain to the MTs each time? I even told the Dr part of my issue is intense stress, and asked the office manager for a relaxing Swedish, which in the initial visit she and the Dr said they do, but when asked, it was glossed over. Because she charged me for 7 visits' worth at the beginning, I will go for another one or two sessions, but if I bring this up to them again and they don't fix it then I won't be coming back. Words can not even describe how amazing this practice is. Dr Chris has given me my life back. From the minute I walked in I felt as if I was the most important person ever. Marcy greeted me with the most amazing smile a caring words and Dr Chris genuinely cares about how you are feeling and what he can do to make the pain go away. I walked in barely able to walk with pain so bad I could barely do my job. Other doctors wanted to perform surgery on me but Dr Chris said give me some time and let's wait. I waited and today I can do everything I use to. I feel fabulous with no surgery and no medications. I am so grateful to him and his staff for helping me feel like a new person. A big shout out to Sara who worked with me every time I came in and gave me so much hope that one day I would feel better. I can't thank Dr Chris and his staff enough. I have never written a review before, but after visiting this place I feel the need to do just that. Set up an appointment with the receptionist who hung up on me multiple times. I was hurt in an accident and she had no idea what she was talking about. She was mumbling!! so you want to use the Ummm, ummm, the insurance.. the 3rd party? After she hung up the 3rd time I let it go and just went into the office. Much to my surprise this business' hours are not correct or fluctuate depending on the day. The woman said sorry, we only take people who make appointments. We are out of here at 2:30 today. I couldn't believe the lack of customer service and how rude she was. My husband has been having chronic pain in his neck for two months. After hot/cold treatments, rubs, etc., we found Wellness First when performing a Google search for acupuncture. Main page of their website states how they specialize in acupuncture and how it helps so many problems. I called Wellness First to set-up an appointment and actually talked at length with the person on the phone about how acupuncture will help my husband. My husband and I were pretty excited about going to Wellness First and, hopefully, starting to be pain free. When we arrived we noticed how busy it was, thought this was a good sign. Then, as we sat in the waiting room I began to notice how fast people were receiving their "treatments". Kind of odd. After waiting 45 minutes past our appt. time, my husband saw the doctor, I went with him. He performed range of motion tests and back into the waiting room, 3 minutes with the doctor. Waited 20 minutes then my husband was sent upstairs for a massage! A massage?? 5 minute massage, back in the waiting room for 20 minutes then saw the doctor again for 2 minutes, who wanted him to come in 3x a week for a massage. What happened to acupuncture? My husband told him "no way". The next morning my husbands pain was actually worse. Very, very disappointed. My husband felt as if this was some sort of scam. As we sat in the waiting room 4x, I felt more and more like this was a drive through at McDonald's. We went there with high hopes and left there feeling even worse. read more
