At first I completely understood that she is tough because maybe she has drug seeker patients or drug addict patients, but once she gets to know you and knows that this not what you are about you would think she would treat you as a human. I spent almost 1 year of her horrific treatment before I finally listened to my friends and family and found a new doctor. Be prepared if you have an appointment with Dr. Hashim that your appointment will take at least 3 hours because she does EVERYTHING on her own, from checking you in, running your insurance, doing all of the nurse jobs, setting up another appointment etc. She has NO STAFF because nobody can work with her! I rarely take allopurinol now. 2. Cupping on my forearms and triceps provided much needed relief, as I tend to lift heavy at the gym What didn't work for me: 1. I could not tell much difference from the cupping on my back 2. If your elbows click or pop like mine, the chances are that will persist. Do not expect that to go away. The whole wet cupping therapy is highly recommended and provide amazing relief. The part where people get freaked out about is the blood, and perhaps the meditative music doesn't help that experience. Also, the therapy sessions are not likely covered by the insurance. So it can be expensive at times. Despite a couple of downsides, I still recommend the wet cupping therapy.

I have been going to Camelback for quite a few years now due to inconsistency in my own schedule (otherwise I probably could have prevented further damage and been better, quicker!) and every single time, it has helped me tremendously. This time around I have tried to really commit and keep a consistent schedule. The results have made a world of difference. When I came back to Camelback this year, I had numbness and tingling in my right foot, terrible pain in what felt like my tailbone that prevented me for sitting for long periods of time (which is hard for me because I work in a corporate office!), and excruciating neck pain due to issues in my neck as well. Since returning, the numbness in my foot has stopped, I can sit for extended periods of time without having to shift every 15 minutes, and I can look down at my phone without having awful pain in my lower neck. My quality of life has improved significantly just in my everyday tasks. An employee named Annie is the worst and has no place working in healthcare. I suggest you go elsewhere as they clearly show no empathy when dealing with patients who are going through the worst time of their lives. Is the doc okay? Maybe? But the ADMIN is horrible to the point that I filed a complaint with the Illinois Department of Public Health. BEWARE!
