No calls until 4.30 pm the day before, when I called in. The lady says - yes I have not been able to make my calls yet. When I asked about how much I would owe for my visit tomorrow. She says - I can tell you when you come in tomorrow. I said - I like to avoid surprises before my visit. She mentions - we don't have you insurance info here. She proceeds to tell me - she has 2 other patients in the office. So she is not sure if she can get the payment info for me. This is not a good way to make the first impression. Please follow through on what you committed. 1. The insurance info provided at the appointment booking should be saved. 2. Patients should not have to chase the payment info. You should be able to provide atleast an estimate (we understand this info can change) 3. Finally, why would you make it so shady and not be transparent about how much you would be charging. Customers have a right to transparent charges information. I really was looking forward to this and I hope they improve their new customer experience.

For a week, I sufferred with the inability to touch my toes, lay down or sit without pain. Getting in and out of the car was also painful. After a week, I decided I needed to seek medical attention. I actually found this place using Groupon. They had a special deal that included chiropractic treatment plus a massage. To be honest, I was a little frightful of going to the chiripractor, but I was desperate for some relief and answers. Once I purchased the Groupon, I called and was able to make an appt for both services the next day back to back, so no waiting! The office building and facility are quite nice. There is also a free parking garage connected to the building. Ignore and pass by the sign on the first elevator outside the building that says that it isn't working. There are working elevators inside the office building to take you to your floor. Not only is the building quite spacious and clean, so is the WGYB office. There is a electronic sign in, but since appointments are made accordingly, there aren't a bunch of people waiting and the receptionist will just check you in personally. First time visit you will of course fill out paperwork, but that's standard. Be prepared to know where and how long youve been in pain. That helps with treatment. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Roth who made this newbie to chiropractic treatment at ease. He was sincere, caring, listened, and answered my questions. As he did each treatment, he walked me through what he'd be doing, what I would feel, and was able to multitask and converse while giving me treatment. Before I knew it, the "worst" was over! I had three treatments on this visit that included electrodes and decompression along with adjustment by Dr. Roth. By the time I left, I wasnt completely cured but I felt way better. Dr. Roth cautioned me to take it easy that day and observe how well I felt in the next couple of days. The next day after treatment, I was in less pain and had more flexibility. In combination with the deep tissue massage I had with Angelica, my lower back and hip pain are gone! I am so appreciative to finding this place. If I lived closer, I would definetly patronize it on a regular basis for the massage services and chiropractic treatment, but with it only being open M- F, that is a challenge for many. When I checked out on the first visit, they advised I owed $67.00. Since I had met the Deductible in January, I pushed back and said I shouln't owe anything. They responded that the Insurance person said they needed to collect the fees. I begrudginly paid the fees as they said if I didn't owe the money, they would refund the fees. What they DIDN'T tell me was that the fees are New Patient Fees which Original Medicare does not cover. I am not happy at all that they didn't let me know when I made the appointment as I could have called around to see if there were some that didn't charge the "NP" fee and see the first visit as an investment rather than an out-of-pocket expense. Their lack of transparency has left a foul taste in my mouth. We did go back for a 2nd visit for an adjustment (as I hadn't figured out yet what would happen with the $67.00). At the end of the visit they still said I owed the 20% that Medicare didn't cover. I let them know that I had already met my deductible and the GAP coverage would pay for the 20% but they didn't care at all. I again, begrudgingly paid the 20% and let them know that the Insurance person (I believe was Sunny) called me on Sep 21st and let me know the $67.00 was for a New Patient charge but that the $7.72 would be credited back to me. I have YET to see the credit on my credit card but will give them a few more days to send in the credit before I call and ask when the credit will be processed. Needless to say, although Dr. Stacy was very nice, the lack of transparancy will preclude me from using their services ever again.

I am the type of patient that thinks the more data the better, also my current chiropractor is requesting these images. I spoke to Gaby regarding this and she was unfortunately extremely unfriendly and unhelpful regarding this, she actually hung up on me today and I am in shock at how rude she handled the situation. She told me my images were (most likely) lost in the Houston freeze/storm from earlier this year. She said she would try looking for them but she's sure they are gone but the tone she used was very rude. I understand it may be annoying that I am calling asking for my images, but this treatment is unacceptable. I don't think Gaby will be calling me back or will even try looking for my X-rays at all to be honest just based on her demeanor with me over the phone. The energy from her was very unprofessional today and rude unfortunately. I have nothing but amazing things to say regarding Dr. Deloache and Dr. Thorton plus the remainder of the staff aside from the office manager.
