This was my first time at Lakeside Massage Spa and Nina did a really great job. I told her I wanted my massage a little harder, and she didn't disappoint. I had quite a few knots and she was able to get the majority of them out. The pricing was very reasonable. I got a 90 minute massage for $100. I don't even know what to say. Like really. Ok, if you know me, you know that I've never actually been speechless, so here goes. I was having a mani next door at Nola Nails and as I was leaving I noticed this cool looking massage spa. I was just thinking that my feet could use a little love. Mr. R has a major aversion to feet, so asking him to do the honors would've ended with him questioning my sanity, so I popped in to inquire about an available appointment. As it turned out, they had time for a 30 minute foot massage. I haven't had a professional foot massage in years! I sat myself down in one of their super comfy chairs and the masseur went to work on my tootsies and calves. It was Heaven! I think I had an out of body experience. I've NEVER had each toe massaged. Honestly I love this place. People always ask where I go for my foot massages, it's Lakeside massage on Severn. I never do less than 60 minutes. Call and they almost always get you in on the same day. The foot massage starts off with a nice warm foot soak during this time they do a mini facial massage followed by scalp, neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage. (if you don't want this you can ask for all the time on your feet) Next is the awesome foot and leg massage and it's all ended with a hot stone rub. I typically always get this gentleman Tom but I've had several massage therapists and the staff is all so nice and professional. I haven't done the full body massages here yet, i typically go to someone else for that but definitely foot and chair massages for this girl! You should try them out! read more

Really nice place. They could probably make more $ if they really went boutique and offered stuff like couples massages and things of that nature. The talent is there! Anyways, the inside is nice and the full body massage my wife and I got was amazing. I told my massage therapist that even though I bought a full body, to just concentrate on my back, shoulders, and face because my thighs, arms, and legs are real ticklish but I guess she didn't understand me and still massaged them anyways. Thank goodness she did because she was awesome and applied just the right amount of pressure for me that I wasn't squeamish or laughing like a maniac. She's great with her hands. I felt great after. I think her name was Angela(?). Anyways, it's $68 for a full body massage (before tax and tip) which is probably one of the better deals you'll get from a massage agency so if you're not going for a spa-like experience, definitely check this place out. read more

I went here a few months ago on a whim, and I've been back every two weeks ever since. Tom is phenomenal. I lift and run and have a sedentary job and Tom works wonders for 90 mins. I don't really have anything bad to say. They don't speak English so you can ask for anything you just point to what you want. I also didn't like that they soaked my feet for 5 mins of the 30 min foot massage followed by 5 mins of head rubbing and then 5 mins of leg rubbing at the end. I wanted a foot massage not all the pampering. I'm used to someone prepping and then a massage for 30 minutes. The pricing is the same $1/min no matter what service you get, I find this weird. I googled "massages near me," and this place came up. Boy, am I glad that it did! Danny (or Denny maybe) was my therapist for a 75 minute full body massage, and he was amazing! I live right around the corner from this location so it's common for me to treat myself to at least one "spa day" a month. Usually I'll go and get my haircut and then walk over to Lakeside Spa and get a massage. As far as walk-in massage establishments go this is one of the best I've ever been to. They're always prompt and available and give a quality service. I use them regularly and intend to keep on doing so. I only have one minor gripe and it's more of an industry standard I suppose than anything they do themselves, but the up-selling at the end of the service is always a bit annoying. They aren't heavy handed with it and don't push the issue if you decline, but I guess I'll just never be a big fan of any up-selling, anywhere. read more

Very uplifting and welcomed experience. Its my first time, so I can see why the spa has a five star rating. I've been under the weather for the last several days: sluggish, sinus, aches. But I felt a significant change in wellness as soon as I stood up from the chair. I can't explain it, but the half hour foot massage was unquestionably therapeutic. There were a few minutes of massage therapy to my face, traps, legs, which was an unexpected pleasure. My therapist had a small cup of water waiting for me at the register, which was thoughtful. My boyfriend and I came here for a chair massage. It was empty and we were quickly sat down and begun to be worked on. We initially chose the 20 min massage, but the lady working on my boyfriend noticed the tightness of his back muscles and asked if we wanted to increase to 30 minutes, which we happily agreed to. The massage included the entire back and shoulders, as well as a little of legs and arms. It was exactly what you would hope for a 20-30 minute massage to be. There was never any time they weren't massaging. I felt very relaxed after. I probably would prefer a table massage, but definitely for the chair massage, this was a wonderful price and felt great! This was amazing. I don't usually go for reflexology, but my feet have been killing me due to long hours standing up at a new job. I reserved myself a 30-minute reflexology that day for an evening slot. When I arrived, the space was serene. Dimly lit, a burbling fountain, and very helpful staff. The experience started with a light scalp massage while my feet rested in the bath. The herbal bath seemed more like plain tepid water in a shallow bucket, which is why I gave it four stars. Then the actual massage... amazing. Just. Amazing. I have never felt such comfort. I fully relaxed. For the first time in very long, I let go and felt serenity, listening to the fountain and spa music. No phones ringing, no talking, just peace. I was even convinced to have a ten minute back massage on a massage chair, and it was so amazing, it felt like 20. In the end, I tipped well, and received a rewards card. TL;DR: This is amazing. Go. I had my first reflexology massage today at Lakeside Massage Spa and I have to say that it was a wonderful experience. Staff was friendly and professional. My particular service started with a foot soak in warm water while getting a really relaxing scalp massage. Once the foot massage started, I knew I would be returning! This is an excellent place to come in and relax. It is close to Lakeside Shopping Center so after shopping go get pampered! Kevin performed the massage and did an excellent job. I love this place! Jenny is the best masseuse ever! I discovered this place when my regular masseuse was out of town. I did a quick google search and found this location, which is conveniently walking distance from my home! Jenny is nice, and very attentive to my massage needs! I get the 2 hour massage with her every week! If I could get more time I would but 2 hours is the limit lol. read more
