This place is great! I came here back in March and I completely forgot to write a review. I've had a colonic done before and didn't have the greatest experience. Thankfully my friend told me about this place and I had a fantastic experience. The girl working with me (wish I remembered her name) was wonderful. She totally put me at ease and made my experience a good one. So I walked in and filled out some paperwork, I was super duper early and the receptionist asked if I wanted to try their turbosonic machine, it's basically a vibrating platform that stimulates your body and muscles. You basically stand on the platform and it shakes your body up a little bite, you can stop at your convenience I think it runs for 10mins. After 7 minutes I couldn't hang anymore it was a interesting experience, I kinda felt a little wobbly but I was okay afterward. Sooo after that experience I sat down in the waiting room for a little bit, the waiting room is pretty and nice to wait in. I was called in to the room the girl told me what to expect it was not awkward at all, the experience was very easy and I felt very comfortable with the treatment. My girl was extremely knowledgeable, answered all my questions and I would have liked to go longer. Afterwards the girl had given me some flavored water and told me what to expect, gave me instructions on what I should eat and what not to eat. All in all a great experience. The attendant was very involved in the process wanting maximum benefits for me. It was a bit of a crampy experience but well worth it. I always see Eleni, she is both professional and personable. She puts you at ease by explaining what she's doing each step of the way. I tried their infrared sauna today for the first time and I absolutely loved it! The girl who helped me out and set the room up was very nice, she even brought extra water and towels when I told her my boyfriend might join me (he was running late for our appointment)! The sauna was so relaxing and the lavender cooling towels were oh so nice. They provided me with a big bottle of water to hydrate while I'm in there and also an electrolyte drink afterwards. This is weird. But so is going for a colonic and having NO IDEA what your in for, so I write TMI about my pooper for the good of my fellow intestinally clogged brothers and sisters. My inner child HATES colonics, but every year I do a cleanse and it's just part of the program. Thank god I found Wellness Within. It's neither coldly clinical nor is it uncomfortably hippie dippie. It's just right. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have their own bathrooms attached. At least the one I was in did. Diane is the perfect personality for this kind of work. She makes it seem totally normal but is still willing to tell you a good funny and/or horror story or two if you ask. Come on, if we can't laugh about years of butt work, what can we laugh about? She was very good about "taking requests" of more or less water from the 60 second standard. She's a good talker/distractor and a sweet, gentle spirit that's all business on the business end of things. And she's young and cute, which makes it slightly less gross for some reason. Go figure. I like the closed system. They pump it in and out the same tube with the switch of a valve. No getting up til the end. Okay people, now get YOUR poopers cleaned out and keep the doctor away! P.S. Wellness Within is a fairly cheap place to get yourself cleaned out. The business is located in an area with other offices and is a pleasant little place. Inside, you feel like you are not in Woodland Hills, you feel like you're somewhere different due to the serene colors, the array of magazines and products, and the pleasant service. Kameron assisted in cleaning me out. She made sure to explain to me the entire process. During the process, she answered any questions I had and also let me know that I was expelling a fair amount of waste, which is good, because that's what I paid for. A colonic is not a pleasant experience but when Trader Joe's Colon Cleanse isn't doing it for you, it's the next step. Anyways, after the procedure, you probably will need to use the bathroom. Take as much time as you want. Afterwards, you're given probiotics with coconut water. Kameron also gave me a little baggie filled with all natural supplements to take to further clean out my system. I left feeling lighter (sadly, the scale at home did not show this) and I swear that my skin even looked better afterwards. The facility very clean. Each room has its own private restroom, other places I tried had one restroom for the facility -very uncomfortable. The staff was very polite, professional and did a great job explaining the process and giving advice. I appreciate that they provide coconut water and probiotics after the procedure. I have been going to this colonic spa for many years. The girls are super nice. They always make you feel super comfortable. Twice a year visit is a must for me. Recently I have tried their infrared sauna and it is the best of the best out there. It is super duper clean. They provide you with soft towels and drinking water. After a 40 min session at 135F I was soaking wet. I have tried a few infrared saunas and although at the same temperature or higher, I have never experienced same relaxation and detoxification as at this place. Their $400 for 20 sessions is very reasonable; especially since you can bring someone with you and use one session for both. read more

This place was referred to me by a colleague, so I thought I'd give it a go. It is in a little courtyard, and I had a sudden 'Uh-oh' moment, but went in, and it is a lovely small space well decorated with calming 'spa' music .... The two girls I met were so sweet and chatty; completely made me at ease. Going into the room, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the therapist talked me through everything, with no problems, and I asked EVERY QUESTION you could probably think of! She was so chipper, and easy to chat to, I wasn't worried. The place was absolutely spotless, and the process was easy, took an hour from start to finish, and not anything to worry about at all! There is a private bathroom in each room, and by the time I had changed my clothing the place was cleaned up, and the therapist had a glass of coconut juice and some pills to replace enzymes, whatever they are!! Would I go back? In a heartbeat ...... Would I refer them? Already have to three people .... Price point? A bit pricey, but I was happy to pay it, solely on how they made me feel comfortable throughout the process. A great little gem ........... read more

Well...This is an awkward review... But I feel I should give kudos when it is due, so here goes! This place is the place to go for a colonic. The staff is friendly, its clean, and very tranquil. About as tranquil as a colonic gets I guess! They make you feel comfortable, explain the procedure if you are new, and are very professional. It is hard to trust someone you do not know to get near your pooper, ya know!? Kameron was my tech, and she was a sweetie. The whole process was calm and relaxing. They massage your abdomen and don't force anything, so you control how your colonic goes. After, you are encouraged to use the restroom, which is private and is supplied with plenty of air freshener!
