The assistant that answers the phone is called Angelic. She is very rude and unprofessional. First Angelic said they never got the referral from my doctor even though my doctor confirmed the referral and I saw it with my owns eyes. Now since it's been so long, I need xrays. I got xrays in the ER when it happened. I simply asked for them to monitor her phone calls and she hung up the phone. Every time I call back to set an appointment Angelic hangs up the phone. I have reported this to her supervisor Anjana Kumar. All I ask for is respect of setting an appointment.

She said, " they're still entering things." And never checked on me again. Im standing there for over an hour watching person after person go, the lobby getting emptier down to two people. I'm thinking they're obviously triaging and people with work UA's and physicals are prioritized - mind you I'm standing next to the window against the wall because I don't want to get sick. I'm here because I'm having a hives breakout and was seen last night at this location and give a steroid and am breaking out again. So 11 rolls around and I go up and asked if I was skipped, well go figure I was. She then hands me the paperwork to fill out mind you I filled out the registration, uploaded my employer provided insurance already. So here I am waiting still well other people have been triaged before me with hives all over my face and a croak sounding voice. I've watched the reception leave two people on hold, and not kidding you completely forget they were there. Another patient where English was their secondary language and she was an older woman struggling while the receptionist tells her three times to write down the name of her pharmacy and the lady is clearly confused and holding her bag of rx medications. I work in healthcare for an insurance and so I simply respectfully involve myself saying that it's likely on her Rx bottle in which the receptionist then says oh, let me see and write down the pharmacy for the women. Where in the world is this person's supervisor and are they screening their staff for the ability to multitask. The staff yesterday were helpful as to be expected, typing this while I continue to wait to be called back

Today I went to see Sara for a health issue because my doctor had no earlier appointments. Once again the same thing had happened leading me to leave this comment for future patients. It was another appointment where Sara tries to rush you out of the office. Sara continued to shut down anything I tried to say regarding the medical issue. Sara has a direct approach and I get that but this does not work for everyone. I tried to discuss over the past week my medical issue leading up to my visit and Sara continued to shut down what I was saying. Saras response to me was "so what are your symptoms today" then cuts me off again while I'm speaking and continues to say "so what are your symptoms today". I took time off work to be seen and looked for help from a medical professional. Patients should feel heard not shut down. This experience was awful and really uncomfortable.

For those not familiar with this, its a lifelong skin condition that causes inflamed, dry patches on your skin. Unfortunately, every blue moon (a phrase that my mom likes to use) I have a small flare up around my nose. Of course situations like this always occur around the time that you have to attend a special event. In this case, my wife and I have a small San Diego/Las Vegas trip quickly approaching. Previously, I have been prescribed medicine for seborrheic dermatitis through my physician, Dr. Sara Dougherty. Due to the fact that I was out of refills, I was under the impression that I would have to schedule a regular checkup in order to have Dr. Dougherty prescribe a refill. Fortunately, one of the office assistants suggested that she could send a request for Dr. Dougherty to prescribe a refill without me having to physically visit the office. Within 2 hours Dr. Dougherty had sent the prescription to my local CVS! Talk about efficiency! Thank you to Dr. Sara Dougherty and her awesome team! Now I can walk around confidently, Seborrheic Dermatitis-free!

Calling in for anything, I've waited an hour before, most of the time it's over 30 min. No call back system. You leave a message for referral or to schedule an appointment, no one calls back. To get into the Dr? At least 3 months. You're waiting for a referral to be approved, you find out the specialist never got the fax. The Dr's are so overbooked, I feel like I have to rush because I don't want to make them late for the next person. I will be looking for another primary, this just isn't normal or anything I want to continue to deal with.

The drive is about half an hour for me but totally worth the drive! She is the best primary care physician ever! She is very patient, friendly, nice, sweet and very professional. Most importantly, she listens to my all concerns and always provides clear instructions or recommendations. I meet with her at least once a year for my annual checkup and for my flu shot. Whenever I see her, she is always smiling. She doesn't judge her patients. She treats all her patient with respects. I would totally recommend her to everyone I know. But of course it depends if she accepts new patients or not :). All the medical assistants and staffs in the office are all super nice as well.
