I waited over an hour after being the only person in line. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I explained my symptoms I was told about other clients rush to testing, making me already feel invalidated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I was finally seen, the practitioner was polite but it's obvious that English isn't her first language and that isn't a problem, but I specifically asked for a test and she ordered everything BUT the test. Do not go here please ! This is a fraudulent medical centre. I walked in here last August with my son . [[HIGHLIGHT]]The two individuals at the front desk checked twice that my insurance was in network , and reassured me that it was. They were not ! I got lied to![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I received care from a nurse only who advised me to take my son to a hospital for appropriate care for a wrist fracture. She was unable to provide a splint that fit him correctly. I drove 4 hours following this visit to North Shore University Hospital to receive the appropriate medical care. I received a bill with fraudulent charges for almost $500 . [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have reached out to customer service and the centre so many times since receiving this bill with absolutely no customer service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was charged $220 for a $10 brace that did not fit my son ( a CVS type brace) . My son received an appropriate splint later in the day at North Shore University Hospital . The charges on the bill included medical supplies on top of the ill fitting so called splint , all which I did not receive. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Along with my insurance, I have called customer services endlessly and they promise to adjust the bill, but have not done so in 11 months!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Furthermore, my insurance has also reached out to billing along with me on the phone, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the representative from Emblem was simply horrified by the way that I was treated on the phone by the representative.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I contacted the Queensbury NY Well Now Urgent Care Center , the person that I spoke to informed me that complaints about billing happen daily at this centre. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The manager at the centre has not returned ANY of my calls for help![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is a nightmare!! Please do not attend a Well Now Centre . I went in for a suspected broken hand and was told they couldn't take X-rays because the radiology tech had already left for the day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They scheduled me for the following morning and assured me everything would be ready.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I showed up early the next day, completed all the paperwork again, and then sat there for over an hour--only to find out the radiology tech wasn't even there yet. This kind of poor coordination and lack of communication is unacceptable, especially when dealing with injuries that need timely diagnosis. Completely wasted my time while dealing with a painful injury. I would not recommend this urgent care. read more

Amazing Urgent care. My son got nursemaids elbow and was in quite a bit of pain. He wouldn't let me touch it so I had to take him in. Screamed the whole way about not wanting to see a doctor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They took him right in, gave him toys to distract him and made him laugh.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They then fixed him up fast and he never knew what happened. You must complete scheduling an appointment and checking in yourself from your own device, which is quite a cumbersome task.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]No one there will help you from their own office computer; I wasn't greeted or given an explanation of the process.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Simply met with a sign with a QR code to scan and figure it out on your own.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As someone with ADHD, it was an extremely overwhelming and overstimulating process.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was made to feel horrible and embarrassed because the lack of help or guidance from the employees was extremely frustrating-all of this shaming because of my frustration happened in front of my sick child.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will always advocate for my kid to get what she needs! I am not obligated to smile and be Mary Sunshine to anyone. Never once did i yell, swear, or threaten anyone, I simply asked if they could help me with the process multiple times. Unfortunately I had taken time off work unexpectedly and this was the closest health center to me, not to mention my child was really hurting. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I did not appreciate a male employee coming out front to intimidate a mother and daughter in the waiting room alone (no other patients), standing with his arms crossed like a bouncer and glaring at me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The scheduling process can not be completed without agreeing to receive further texts/emails from this "business".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I expressed my concern and that I did not want to agree to being contacted outside of being seen that day, and their employee's solution was to take my cell phone and agree to the terms & conditions anyway, without my consent, to make it easier for her.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I am curious to know if this health center receives any federal funding...seems like that is a conflict. It's an awful system and if someone weren't able to go through this multi-step scheduling and check-in process-they simply wouldn't get healthcare. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I felt so uncomfortable that I had my husband meet me there and wait for us in the waiting room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I know this male employee thinks I am just another "Karen" having a moment, but that was not the case. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Another employee told me "we all get emotional sometimes" which I found particularly insulting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Expecting help from those whose jobs are to help is not getting "emotional".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's lazy to use the "crazy woman" trope instead of actually addressing the issue and helping someone in need.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our experience was negative enough that I filed a complaint with my insurance company so they can complete an investigation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Maybe they should spend less money on video games and slush puppies machines and more on employees that have empathy and the capability to help sick and injured patients without having to beg.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] read more
