The business was supposed to be open until 5. At 3:50 they were closed. When I called to ask what was going on he was very rude. Needless to say, I will never go back there. I guess I'm just gonna pay the bill again, but I'm definitely certifying it and getting a return receipt of its delivery.

I'd thankfully had the flu vaccine, but still got very sick in the last 24 hours and decided to go to urgent care today. As there's no longer a one in my town, I drive to Berlin. This center opens an hour earlier than the UVM one, which was great because I didn't want to sit around in my car after being up all night waiting to be seen. You fill out the paperwork and scan your IDs via your phone (text message) when you arrive. Then they text you to come in. I was see swiftly by a very friendly patient assistant, who took my vitals and had me take a flu and strep test, based on my symptoms (I'd had a neg Covid at home). Then the doctor came in. He was so nice!! A very sweet gentleman who asked me some questions, checked me out before the results came back as influenza strain B. I'm glad I went. They do have a virtual option, but I was sure I had strep or the flu and wanted to be sure. Will be a long weekend at home, resting. They also do tests for work and school with reasonable fees if you didn't have insurance. My insurance thankfully paid for the visit. Really nice facility. I'd come here again.

When that person came out and took our temperature the woman at the desk STILL persisted in her clearly personal phone call for 10-15 more minutes! I waited for a half hour altogether and was still not registered. The the temperature-taking person said it would be at least an hour wait. I left and went to Med Express, highest ratings for them, and was in and out in about 20 minutes. Sharon was rude to a phone caller - put that person on hold while she continued with her personal call, and then when she finally did pick up, she told the caller in a snotty voice that this is a "walk-in" and no appointment was needed. My daughter is in college and came down with Bronchitis, so she went to WellNow in April of 2024 because they are in my network, confirmed by my health insurance. WellNow charged my daughter out-of-network cost of $165 for her visit which should have been in-network and only $15. After repeated phone calls with WellNow billing department they admitted that the visit should have been in-network and only $15 and would reimburse my daughter the $150 she is owed in 30-45 days. After months, they still had not reimbursed my daughter so I spoke with my insurance company who contacted WellNow billing department on my behalf and my insurance called me back to say it has been corrected and that WellNow will reimburse my daughter the $150 within 45 days. As of today, 08/28/2024, not only has WellNow not reimbursed my daughter, but I received a bill in the mail from Doctor Krystyna Koryzma, who treated my daughter, for out-of-network expenses of $334, in addition. How is this even possible??? My daughter goes to an in-network urgent care for serious issues but the doctors that work there are not in-network? My daughter should have been informed prior to treatment. How is it this doctor is not billing through WellNow so it is in-network? If one does not pay their doctor bill after 4 months, I'm sure WellNow would threaten collections. They scheduled me for the following morning and assured me everything would be ready. I showed up early the next day, completed all the paperwork again, and then sat there for over an hour--only to find out the radiology tech wasn't even there yet. This kind of poor coordination and lack of communication is unacceptable, especially when dealing with injuries that need timely diagnosis. Completely wasted my time while dealing with a painful injury. I would not recommend this urgent care.

You can also make an appointment online, and they typically try to get you in the door around(ish) the time of your appointment - although there is typically a 20 to 30 minute delay. I have yet to be seen by an actual physician here, which is a bit concerning, but the physician assistants, nurses, and techs who work here are all nice. They accept a bunch of different kinds of insurance, which is great in a pinch.

Came in crying, limping, bleeding with a napkin compress applied to my knee (by my hand). There was 1 other patient in waiting area. 45 minutes to check in and be taken to triage, another 40 minutes till X-ray completed and then an additional 35+ minutes to get results (I'm still waiting!). Not once have they offered to get me an ice pack for the obvious swelling. Then all at once, what to my wondering eyes appears? A know nothing nursing assistant! Says X-ray shows "nothing" and has me sign a paper saying I have an adult contusion. After not being able to even figure out how to move the leg holder on the wheel chair I have to hold my leg in midair while she poorly wraps with ace bandage. And the coup de grace?? She informs me that swelling will continue without ice and elevation.......they did not ever offer me ice or elevation!! And they did not even swipe the bleeding area with a magic wand let alone some kind of antibacterial agent!! They did give me an ice pack on my way out because I just couldn't stop from replying that I could have lessened the swelling if I had been applying ice the last few HOURS I spent in their "care"! I am now convinced I would have received better medical attention from the veterinary next door.
