I have been with Wells Fargo for about 13 years now, and despite all the negativity I hear about you guys as a whole, its interactions like yesterday that make me LOVE you guys and want to stay! I forget the name of the person who helped me, but yesterday 4/28, I was doing a deposit/change run for a business. The business account is with Chase, so that's where I dropped the deposit and tried getting change. I forgot to write down the account #, so they wouldn't give me change over $100, which I get is policy, but the guy at Chase was rude and had attitude. NEVER at Wells Fargo do I get spoken to how I do at other financial institutions! I left frustrated, because it was 4:50pm and I NEEDED change for the business, so I tried speeding to Wells, my personal bank before they closed (which I HATE doing). I made it 1 min before close, and I forget the name of the person who helped me, but they were they were so welcoming and friendly right off the bat. I apologized for coming late, and he assured me there was nothing to worry about and he'd love to help me with my transaction. Had such teddy bear energy, and a lovely cream sweater, looked and acted very professional and courteous! We got it taken care of and had a nice chat, SO much better than the vibes I felt at Chase. It may seem like a simple instance, or an easy transaction, but the relief I felt in that moment as he helped me with my issues with the upmost care and respect is what makes me stay with you guys. I always get treated so well, whenever I go in branch or call over the phone. Any issues I have get resolved ASAP, nobody will change my mind, I LOVE WELLS FARGO. read more

My company has been banking with Wells Fargo for the last 10 years and since COVID one thing that's been a big decline is good customer service. Usually you go into a branch and they have a couple bankers at desks on the floor and one teller working. You have to go wait in a huge line where you end up spending half your day waiting to make some deposits. This branch was very clean and organized. The staff was friendly and courtesy. My teller today was Jessica and she was 5 star amazing! Not only was she bubbly and so polite she assisted me with my many deposits with pleasant delight. I've been into other branches with the same amount of deposits and I've been met with not so friendly tellers pushing me to set up night deposits so they don't have to deal with the several that I bring in during the day. My company puts a lot of money through Wells Fargo so it's kind of disheartening to hear such push back from a bank that you are the customer.. well that's not the case today!!! I was greeted with a smile and Jessica took care of my deposit needs. She also let me know that the branch has full staff and there's many tellers working at all times so no one will have to wait too long. She said her manager does a great job giving the support they need which is great to hear because that's the kind of manager I pride myself to be. If you bank with Wells Fargo. Do not go to this bank. It is a duck pond. The workers are sitting ducks. There is only one teller who will go on a power trip if she finds out you're in a hurry. The manager is the biggest duck of them all for letting them behave this way. read more

I came in to close my account today. Michael was the banker who helped me. He was very concerned that there might be a problem, but there was not. I just didn't use my account anymore as I have been a long standing member at a credit union. Michael was helpful, reversed a fee for me, and was able to close my account and send me home with a little money. Literally did the same transaction across the street at Bank of America. What took me 15 mins at Bank of America I did in less then 5 mins with a customer ahead of me at Wells Fargo. Why you ask? Because the extra person doing whatever in the back stopped to help the customer who helps them have a job. Oh and the girl was nice and not annoyed that I was there. read more

For Gilbert Wells Fargo Banks... This is my 1st Choice because of the Customer Service & No pressure banking. Other banks are pushy about signing up for Credit Cards, Savings Accounts and who knows what else... But not this bank. Went here to cash a settlement check from a car accident I was in. I bank with chase but because it was a Friday afternoon when I got my check, I didn't want to wait for it to clear so I went to the bank it was drawn on. The bankers were pushy. The teller told me she couldn't help me when I declined her offer to open an account and when a banker FINALLY saw me after 15 minutes, the whole sales pitch started AGAIN. I let her know that I understood it was her job to solicit my business but I was happy where I was. She wouldn't let it go!! Finally I asked her if she had ever considered going to work for chase. She said no and that she was happy at Wells Fargo so I asked again but this time mentioning it was an awesome bank and the people are friendly. She said again, this time upset, "I'm happy to be a part of the Wells Fargo team!" I looked at her and said, "Now you understand what it's like to be harassed about something you have no interest in even after feeling that you've made yourself clear." With all the bad news on Wells Fargo, I decided to check our bank accounts (checking and savings). I discovered we were being charged $15/ monthly fee for banking with them since June 2016 because our mortgage was no longer active. (we sold our home). Today, I called 3 times with no good advice or wrong advice from various CSR. When I was transferred to a fourth person - ONLINE banking CSR ( Michael Puckett) who saved the day by transferring our account to an account with no fees as long as we kept a specific combined balance which was not a problem. Top it off, he got an approval from his manager to return the fees they have been charging us because they failed to notify us of the account change after we sold our house. I have always liked and trusted Wells Fargo and I am glad they made it right after being so persistance to speak with someone who knew what he was doing. Thanks Michael Puckett! I was ready to close all our accounts but your good training saved the day. read more
