Your management is judgmental and racist!!! Told me I had an alert on my account when my husband and I came in to make our monthly money orders for rent. From the moment we walked up to the counter she was staring at us from behind her computer. Told us there was an alert on my account but could not give us a reason then told us if we needed to use the atm we could get the cash out. Tried doing that but since the amount was so high, couldn't do that because she wouldn't approve it. Called customer service support and they assured that there was no alert on my account and I had more than enough money to cover the transaction. This bank is racist as can be. Me and the wife came in to do a money order. We were told that we had an alert on our account and couldn't withdraw nor do a money order. They kept staring at us and our tattoos and said there was nothing they can do. We called Wells Fargo in the parking lot and was told we had no red flags or alerts linked to our account and everything should be fine. We were then told by Wells Fargo customer service to go to a different Wells Fargo branch because this bank always gives customers faulty information. Super annoying experience! I came in to get a cashier's check. The line was near the door and growing. While waiting the line grew to the point it was out the door. They had 2 tellers at the counter moving slower than a turtle. Meanwhile there were 3 employees asking everyone in line what they need. Once we shared what we needed they said, "someone will help you shortly". Obviously they weren't able to assist. Here's an idea, instead of having staff ask everyone in line what they need, how about have them hop behind the counter and help get the line down. I only come here because I have to deposit the rent check for our landlord. If there's 3-4 people ahead of you in line, be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes even if there's 2 tellers. I've never seen more than 2 tellers at a time and the wait is just ridiculously long, always. read more

Been a customer since the 70's. I had 2 ATM withdrawals in Fresno, I live in Milpitas. I don't go to Fresno and haven't used an ATM since 2022. They can see that on my acct. Claim denied twice! They say the person used an actual card and a PIN. Whatever! It wasn't me. Submitted a time card showing I worked on one of the days. No response after a week. I talked to so many claims people and none provided good customer service. Kept switching me to another person and I had to explain all over again. Bank somewhere else! read more

Three star average I can see why. Seriously limited bank hours due to The 19 virus. Literally showed up 1 min before 5 pm. And the door is closed and locked. The posted hours on the glass reflect 9 - 6 pm. I cannot use atm as I am a small business depositing a check for an employee working from home. A bank employee walks out and say nothing he can do. Corporate banks and financial institutions forget that small business is challenged during this time and forced to close. I'm doing my best to stay in business. Poor Customer Service. They discriminate against dark skinned people or if they think you are not wealthy . Just stay away from them, you get treated like a criminal. I deposited a check for $10K, and the teller Steffany Pinedo treated me like a criminal the minute I walked up to her. She questioned the source of the deposit and If am the owner of the account for deposited account and the depositor account. She and the manager Chau Tran decided they would put an extended hold on the $10K I was trying to deposit, after I informed them that it is non of their business to question the deposit even if it is a 3rd party account. I filed a complain against them, and Wells Fargo just pushed it under the rug, saying we have investigated this matter, and will take internal actions, but did not say what action. My grandparents brought in cash deposit & the amount is now "missing" . They have tried several times to figure out what is going on and they are telling them it's under investigation. The bank Tellers name is Ashvindeer & he even asked my grandfather "where does he work" because the amount of the cash deposit. We have asked several times why they are not seeing the funds . And we keep getting the run around . My grandparents have their receipt and there is no transaction of that cash being on file . Terrible customer service. I waited almost one one hour in line for a person to take me to my safety deposit box there today. They have a very small staff with all the people I knew from the pre pandemic era apparently gone. Everybody there today was in their early 20's with most of them sitting alone working at their computers at their desks. None of them went to the window to help out the two overloaded people at the windows as the line expanded out the door. When I complained, the one very young woman sitting at her desk said they have no plans on hiring more people and that i should find another bank if I don't like the wait. She then went back to sit at her desk all alone and work on the computer rather than helping out at the window. She couldn't have cared less. I am now working to follow her advise and find a new bank in the Milpitas area as soon as possible. read more

Worst customer service you can experience from a bank. They don't want to talk to you or explain anything. There was a woman who was just herding customers inside like sheep. When I tried to say what I was not there for teller, she asked me to stop speaking. They didn't cooperate until I had to insist. Even then, they sandbagged about the brokerage account. On the building, they shouldn't write about financial services or brokerage, if they just deposit checks. Never seen such noncooperation from a bank. read more

I have never been so disappointed, I have been a loyal Wells Fargo customer for years. I have deposited and withdrew cash from this bank and other numerous banks and I never had the issue I had with this one. The atm machine crashed and refused to give me my card. They bankers had to manually take it out inside their branch and turns out all the money I deposited, none was actually deposited. I am furious because now I have to go through the trouble of filing a claim and waiting 2 weeks to get my deposit back. I have bills to pay and a good chunk of what I deposited helps me pay for everyday necessities. I don't recommend going to this place. Never has this ever happened to me anywhere else. read more

I came in to deposit a check, get some cash back and activate a debit card. Pretty straightforward and simple or so I thought. I get routed from a teller to a banker who sits behind a desk only to be told about opening new accounts. After a few exchanges, I finally agree just to get it over with. He makes some stupid comment that I live far which I really don't need to hear since he is prolonging my effort to get on the road for the commute home. Sign, sign etc. he comes back with no cash after he had my deposit slip completely filled out from the beginning. What a waste of time!! The dude isn't even meticulous and can't even get a simple transaction right. Probably didn't even read my deposit slip. I took the papers, told him I'll just go to the ATM, and stormed out. I will not be returning to this branch. On top of that, I get home and check my accounts online, and I don't even see the amount that I deposited posted or pending in any of my old or new accounts. read more

I ordered a "Deposit Only" stamp over the phone and had it sent this Wells Fargo Bank. I own a house in Utah and my property manager requested I get it so that he can drop off my rental check at the bank, instead of him going to the teller every single month and call me so I can dictate my account number to the teller. I had to come back to this branch 3 times to get it! I called in on a Monday last week and asked if it arrived. The gentleman on the phone said it did, so the next day I came by to pick it up. I was greeted with a smile and I told the teller that I need to pick up my stamp. He looked and came back saying he couldn't find it. I reminded him that I called in on Monday and whoever answered the phone said it had already arrived. He checked again, and came back with the same answer. I asked him if he could refer me to someone who could help. He directed me to Victor. I explained the situation to Victor. Before he started investigating the stamp's whereabouts, he started asking me questions why my property manager couldn't just deposit my money without him having to call me to dictate my account number to the teller. I told him that my property manager needs it for convenience and besides that point, I have a package with my name on it that was sent to this bank and I would like to pick it up. He had no luck finding it, so he told me that he'll give me a call when he gets in to work the next morning. I gave him my business card to call me at work. Next day, 2:30PM, still no call. I called Victor. He answered. Apparently he forgot to call. He did apologize and called back within 10 minutes with a status. Looked like my stamp didn't arrive and whoever I called at Wells Fargo was mistaken. I called this past Monday and Victor answered. He said it finally came in. I came by today at 9:45AM and the teller couldn't find it and he said Victor must have it locked in his desk. I left my cell phone number for him and he said he'd have Victor call me when he gets in. 3:30PM. Still no call. I drove there and asked the greeter if he could get Victor for me. He was at lunch. The greeter was able to get a hold of him on his cell and was able to find my stamp. It took me three trips to the bank to get my package. What a waste of time. read more

I would give it a 5 if I myself wasn't aware of the working conditions and what a cheap organization Wells Fargo was. Anyways, I was a former employee here for almost 2 years and though angered and irritated at times by customers and banking procedures, it has to be one of my greatest experiences. The people comprised of this branch is what makes it a hit! All are very knowledgeable and caring associates and are happy to aid you as long as you yourself are not rude and disrespectful. I don't like Wells Fargo Bank in general but I love the people that work here and I find it strange how customers blame their predicaments at the employees. From my experience and my knowledge, don't blame them, blame the upper management and complain to them instead. Had a very bad experience on Friday June 12. Went to deposit $2700 cash in my saving. The teller counted it and started processing it. When teller asked me to confirm the deposit, the screen said $1700. WTF!!! I told her it was wrong. Teller had a confused look and recounted the money. Teller finally got it right, I thought. When I got home, i checked my savings and didn't see the deposit. Was alittle worried. Then i checked my checking account. Teller had out it into my checking. Had transfer the money to my saving account online. Never had issues like this before. I hope the teller was not trying to pocket the money. I usually has the bank email me my receipt but I may change that now and get a hard copy. i would recommended people confirm your transactions before walking out the bank. read more

This was our bank for years and years. Then they installed thick bulletproof plexiglass everywhere. Tellers can't hear customers through the tiny opening in the plexiglass, so you have to shout out your business for everyone to hear. And it is often hard to understand the teller, too. Once I asked for cash back from a paycheck and the teller shouted out that she could not believe I wanted so much in cash. And announced the amount to everyone in the bank. Frequently, tellers told me that they did not have the currency denominations that I wanted and refused to get any from the vault. Sometimes they questioned why I did not want the whole amount in $100 bills. It got so that we dreaded having to come in to this branch. Then the bombproofing for "security" was installed. We felt like the enemy, not a valued customer. Fortunately, there is another Wells Fargo branch at McCarthy Center off Ranch Drive where there are no onerous "security" panels, they welcome you with a smile, and several of the tellers and one manager virtually greet me by name. Once I forgot my wallet with my bank card and ID, they said, no problem, we know who you are, and cashed my check. Very cool. If you can choose which branch to bank at, I'll suggest you drive a little and get a warm welcome than go to this branch that looks like a wing of the county jail. read more

The service has been going downhill for some time, it appears that they have lost quite a few seasoned employees. Now they are closing business services, so business owners who have daily deposits and change requests are not helped in a timely manner. Not to any personal or business account owners, do not get in Priya's line unless you want to wait 1/2 hour and have your request to speak to a manager wait until she figures out how to post your payments. Seriously guys, keep business services open and close 1 of the 6 lines for personal accounts and hire quick, friendly employees who can multi-task! read more

Worst service they have here. People waiting in line for more than 20 minutes outside waiting to get in, and they don't say nothing until 5 minute before close that they won't take more customers, so we wait for 20 minutes for nothing. Slow service too, the other day it took them 45 minutes to process 3 deposits because they have a new person and they weren't helping her to speed things up, and that's in top of the wait to get helped.
