I am a Graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. I became a member of the then Golden Bay and now Meriwest Credit Union when I was stationed at Naval Air Station Moffett Field, as a Lieutenant Junior Grade, in 1976, 50 years ago. Perhaps the Greatest Performance in those 50 years was exhibited recently by Yvonna Trinh, the Branch Manager. I had a challenging Money Wiring Date. Keeping within the Meriwest Procedures, Yvonna was able to reduce the Hold Time on one check by hours and not put two additional checks, on Hold. With her valuable assistance, I was able to meet this demanding Money Wiring Date. This is very much Appreciated and acts like this, plus the other True Meriwest Professionals over the years, is why Meriwest has been my main financial institution for 50 years. Additionally, Yvonna does an Outstanding Job as Branch Manager. It is always a pleasure to go to Meriwest because, there is always "A Positive Vibe". All of the Representatives, especially HOA are Well Trained, Professional, Courteous and Customer Driven. 20 min on hold to get an answering service who will take a message just to find out that to do a zelle transfer is not possible on the website only on the app which has a deficient interface (unable to type in numbers) BofA Patelco wells fargo all have working websites . I don't bank at this Credit Union, but I'm very glad that it accepts other Credit Union cards. I love the fact that it has ATM on the outside of the business so you can use it 24 hours if needed. It's in a small shopping center, but well lit with plenty of parking. read more
