In fact I truly appreciate all of the bankers at this branch. They are knowledgeable, professional and I can trust them. I always appreciate the time they take to ensure my banking needs are met. I just went into withdrawal, some cash (Pewaukee Wisconsin branch ) and the idiot of a manager or teller or whoever was asked me in a voice from across the room. What are you in today for? Since I was taking a chunk of cash out, I don't feel like announcing my business to a room full of people. This is a stupid that puts people at risk, especially when someone is withdrawing cash. When I said, "withdraw some cash," he then asked me "how much" out loud, again in front of a few people this may be uncomfortable with both the bank and this branch and felt they were very unprofessional and absolutely clueless in regards to privacy and security I did confront him and said that that's breaking my privacy, he told me it was "policy to do this". Ask a question out loud across the room bullshit. Wells Fargo: this was 430 on Friday June 28, 2024. Please talk to this guy. If this really is your policy, I'm changing banks. read more

"Worst banking experience ever in my life" I got an auto loan through Tesla in December. I tried to sign on the bank auto loan but it was not allowing me to open my loan account. "Enroll in Wells Fargo Online. We couldn't process your request online. Please call us at 1-800-956-4442 for help." I called the customer service and after talking to 2 different departments, I was told that it will take couple of days and then I can sign up. I tried today again on Jan 29 but the situation was same. I called customer service, holding for 15 minutes, talking to someone inthe background and then transferred the line to another number. This number again gavethe message, unable to help at this time, call back later. I am surprised how can we do business with this bank. My first payment is due on 2/12/2022. Without a doubt the worst banking experience I have ever encountered. We have 2 restaurants that will generate revenues around 3.5 million $ a year and I have run $500k of my own money through my account there in the last 6 months. We have had nothing but issues with this branch and today it was capped off with being told that it would take a week to get $700 worth of 5's and 10's. (wait you're a bank right?) Apparently the money is still coming by horse drawn carriages from Texas. Add that to rude service people and a complete lack of customer service as a whole and you are now sharing in just part of the joys you can expect here at Wells Fargo Pewaukee. I don't live in Pewaukee or in Wisconsin, but out of the blue I received an email from the Pewaukee Wells Fargo about a new account I'd supposedly just opened. Within minues I receive a series of additional emails about my line of credit and the appointment I had supposedly made to speak with a banker. This totally freaked me out. Of course, I thought identity theft was involved. I immediately went online to see who I could contact. I found a Customer Service number for Wells Fargo. When a rep answered, I explained that I'd received all these emails about an account I didn't have. The rep was polite and told me I should contact the branch the next day. I called the Pewaukee branch the next morning. The lady who answered was also polite when I explained that I was receiving emails from Wells Fargo that said I'd opened an account and had borrowed money, etc at the Pewaukee branch. I explained that whoever had done those things had apparently given them my email address. I stressed that I did not have an account with them. She said I should call the fraud department and gave me a number. So I called the fraud department and explained the situation again. They gave me a number to call the credit bureau. I called that number, but it was for an opt out service. Sigh... Meanwhile, over the past month I have received numerous emails about this other person's account, notices regarding monthly statements, credit card payments, etc. I no longer think this is an identity theft situation. I think that someone with the same name as me opened an account at Wells Fargo's Pewaukee branch and that somehow when her information was being entered there was a typing error that led to my email address being entered instead of hers. My email is firstnamelastname@provider.com. Hers may have a space or a middle initial or a number at the end - something close to mine at any rate. Why the one star when I'm not a customer? Well, can you imagine if you had an account at a bank and all of your information was being sent to someone else? And if that someone else made three different phone calls (customer service, the branch itself, and the fraud unit) and no one would take a moment to look into the problem? Jeepers. All anyone had to do was look up a phone number for the customer, call her and say we seem to have the wrong email address. But no one - NO ONE -- at Wells Fargo will take a moment to do that for their customer. Shame on them. read more

Banked here for years with very healthy balances and spotless accounts. I have never walked out of this branch whole or in a position where I was not inconvenienced or forced to wait for service. This branch exemplifies the lack of standards that the company seems to taken as a whole and their customer service number runs at the same negating rate. If you seek to be treated poorly and without regard for your time, this is your bank. read more

Tried to schedule an appointment to set up an IRA banking account with a large deposit. They would not set up an appointment time because they were "just too busy". Wow I wish I could use an ATM so I could get better service. read more
