He asked me what I came to do and I just wanted to make a deposit but I had coins (don't judge, my account is negative so every cent counts) so I went on line instead of going to the ATM. So, while I was on line, he asked me if everything is fine with my account and if I have any questions to let him or his other coworkers know. And my teller was so sweet and soft-spoken. I just love soft-spoken people. It was just a very mellow environment I was in at the moment. I know this seems like nothing but that was some really good customer service. Usually, the bank tellers/employees just let you do your own thing and don't bother you. If it weren't so far from where I live, that's the branch I would always go to.

We went to open a business account and a certificate of deposit (CD), but no one assisted us. We waited, yet no one greeted us or asked us to hold for a moment. We went there because we live in Maywood, but the service was very rude and disappointing. None of the employees cared about us; there was even someone in an office working on a computer who didn't even notice us, and the same went for the tellers. We then went to Chase Bank; we received excellent service there and opened four business accounts. We will never return to TD Bank, nor will we recommend it to our friends and family. Never!

However, what is the same is the one star rating, and the uncaring lackadaisical attitude of the people that work there. I went there to have a one page document notarized. It would have taken a minute. The Manager, who knows me, said the Notary was busy with a customer and asked her how long she thinks she would be busy. "At least an hour"the clerk said. Then the Manager said "She will be busy all day, make an appointment for tomorrow" I told her the urgency of the document and said it would just take a minute. She told me to go to the Pearl River Library to get it notarized. I went to a bank a few blocks away and they did it immediately (I don't have an account at that bank). I also asked the Manager why I was only getting 0.01% interest there while other banks are giving over 3.0%. Her answer "They are not J.P. Morgan, they are a smaller bank who wants your business." That said it all. And if you try to complain to the Corporate Executive Office you would get confirmation they don't care about you. What J.P. Morgan Chase don't seem to realize is that even if your money is in one of the smaller banks, it still is FDIC insured.
