Not notified that my personal banker is no longer here. My appointment was not showing and it was just unpleasant

The Lakeshore branch in Tempe, provided one of the worst banking experiences I've had. My partner and I went there to open a joint account, but the staff were unwilling to assist us. We visited another branch afterward, and they opened the account without any problems. Very disappointing experience at the Lakeshore location. ​I don't recommend especially if you are black. read more

Do not know how to do a notary here. Every other person got a notary smoothly done at other banks. Had to go to multiple Wells Fargo locations and still did not get one due to being understaffed or unwilling to read the documents like here. Would recommend changing banks. read more

Drive thru closed today shortly after 12:00 pm on a Tuesday ... What is up with this?

This branch has terrible customer service. We walked in to add a joint savings account to an existing joint checking account and we were told to go online and schedule an appointment despite the branch having almost no other customers and a branch manger that was just too lazy to help. Guess we will deposit the $30,000 in a different bank! read more

Get out of Wells Fargo!!! I cannot get access to my accounts, and their stupid*ss idiot robot refuses to recognize any of my account numbers so i cant get in to change my password. the g*dd*m idiot robot is now requiring, from ME anyway, my social security number, date of birth to even recognize me, then an account number or an atm/debit card and and the crappy trash robot refuses to recognize any of my account/card numbers GET OUT of this bank. I cant get acccess to my financial advisors, they never answer the phone or respond to my emails until 24 to48 hours later,if then. Their service USED to be good. NO MORE, in my opinion!! read more

It's kinda silly to review a bank but like the other Yelper who reviewed this location, I just wanted to give props to their friendly staff. Britney helped me the other day and she was friendly and efficient! Also, I didn't really have to wait at all, but then I went on slightly off hours. The location is a lil tucked off the main road so don't miss it! See ya there! read more

Came into Wells Fargo to deposit money. Nathan assisted me and was not only helpful but very personable. 10/10

Every time I've come here the wait times have been minimal and the tellers are great. I've visited with credit card and mortgage questions and a specialist helped me get what I needed each time. read more

staff is beyond rude & lazy!!! the old ladies refuse to actually provide any assistance for a basic deposit. told me she wasn't able to cash it but i had no problem mobile depositing and then withdrawling within 1 minute of me leaving her teller desk. read more

SHOUT OUT: Amidst this craziness, I want to acknowledge the EXCEPTIONAL service I have received from Wells Fargo bank -Lakeshore/Tempe. Seriously, the personalized, quick responses, call backs, etas and kind, unsolicited coaching tips have really have made them stand out. They closed 30min early which caused a very long line at the atm machine which was completely unnecessary...

This bank is wonderful! Sean signed me and my boyfriend up for a few accounts and he was just great. Very helpful and answered all our questions i details. He even did a follow up call a few days later to make sure our accounts were going okay. I have been in this bank 3 times since I got an account and everytime was a fantastic experience. My mother, who has just started chemo, needed to sign a check. I usually do all of her errands but she needed to be there physically today. I notice not all of the staff wear masks which is so concerning. Many people who go in are elderly who go in person because they don't know how to manage the online apps. I am disappointed in the staff who are walking around the floor without masks. Please do better. read more

I typically do not go to this location. I guess that was my first mistake! I had an appointment today at 11:00 this morning. I was on time 5 minutes prior to the time. I noticed two women helping other customers. So I sat down and waited and I had a appointment with Catherine. About 10 minutes past 11 go by and Catherine came to me and said "Hello do you have a appointment?" I said yes it was at 11. She said okay well either myself or someone else can help you. So I continued to sit there. Around 11:30 Yolanda was still busy with a customer and Catherine was not. She was walking around talking to more customers who have walked in after I did. Another couple walked in around this time and she quickly greeted them and wanted to help them but told them she had a appointment at 11:30 and if they don't show up she can take them. Yet I was waiting there since 10:55 for my appointment with her at 11:00. Which was ridiculous by now it was 11:45 and she came up to me again saying okay Yolanda will take you and she took the Caucasian couple that walked in at 11:30 that did not have a appointment. I am a Hispanic and I do not appreciate that. I have never felt this way just by being Hispanic which was very unprofessional. Yet I had my appointment with her (Catherine) at 11:00. I sat and waited almost an hour when I shouldn't have. I felt discriminated by her to be honest! Around 12:00 I was then helped by Yolanda a Hispanic also. She was very sweet and helped me out with what I needed which was a simple name change which took 10 minutes! If I would've known ahead of time I would be waiting almost an hour to be seen. I could've just walked in. That was ridiculous! Thank you Yolanda for turning my mood around to a positive and in the end for simply helping me! Let's just say I will make my next appointment with Yolanda and not Catherine! I don't appreciate feeling discriminated against by a so called professional. read more

I am about to be a "former" Premier customer with this bank. I have had two bad experiences with them, the most recent on 11/18/2014. A merchant made an error and charged my debit card (used as a credit card) for $4123 instead of 123.00. They voided the sale, however Wells Fargo will not release the money for up to 15 days! I have the voided slip... still nothing! If this is how you want to be treated... bank with them. If not, find somewhere else to go to. The fact is, they just have people read off of the computer screens and tell you "they are sorry, but they can't help you". read more

I continue to have outstanding service at this bank. In fact, it's been so great that both of my kids have opened up savings accounts at this branch and my husband and I are considering switching from the Credit Union. Last time I was in the bank, I was horrified to hear how a customer was treating one of the bank employees. What did surprise me was how calmly she handled herself. I don't know that I could keep my cool as well as she did! Sabrina no longer works here. However, we have had wonderful service from Eric as well as the branch manager. If you want to be taken care of, go to this branch! They're great. read more

It doesn't matter which branch you pick they all follow Wells Fargo policies, which are legalized larceny in my opinion. From where I sit the fees they charge are abusive for everything from overdrafts to "processing" fees. I had my business account there so I would stop by with my daughter. They used my bringing her by with me as a chance to sell her on a credit card. I asked them not take advantage of her being there with me to sell her a credit card she would get into trouble with. She was a full time student at the time. Sure enough she got herself in trouble with it and I ended up helping her out. I had an account for which there was not supposed to be any fees. It seems like every month I had to get the branch manager to correct the charges they would make anyway. I moved very significant funds over to another much smaller bank and I am much happier. Bank where ever you like, but I have had all I want from Wells. read more

Tellers here are great. They don't bombard me with the usual sales pitches. Personal bankers are awesome about account issues and super friendly. I truly feel like they present solutions and not just sales. This is my favorite branch. read more

The bank is crooked. I would give the zero rating if I could. I found they had switched my account several years ago. I went in to complain and the manager said it wasn't his fault or the company's fault. I told him I wanted a refund of the fees but he said "are you kidding". Now I find out they this was a company wide fraud. Don't trust this company to correct things at anytime in the near future. read more

Everyone who works at this bank is friendly and accommodating. They are always ready with water when you are hot, there is always coffee for when you have had a long day and you never have to wait more then a few minutes for anything. It doesn't matter if it's waiting to deposit/cash your check or setting up a new account, they are with you within a few minutes. I will continue to do my banking with this location as I have for the past two years and for ten years when I lived in Arizona before I came back two years ago.
