My mom loves coming here but this is the 2nd time I've horrible experience. Next time I'd just go to the brach on Beach instead; roomier parking space compare to here. So much verifications from teller Kristine just to cash out money FROM MY OWN ACCOUNT. She already has my ID, my signature, made me sign again on the back of my check and then it doesn't stop there, she verified my phone. Afterward, she sent code to my phone, made me verify again with her. I'm not withdrawing $10,000, not even $5,000 for god sake!!! Wonder if I should just change to Chase. Much easier to withdraw money from my own account. Last time I came to this Wellsfargo branch to withdraw the simulus money given by the state. This place said I couldn't. Went to Chase and staff cashed out the stimulus $$ for me. Truly despise this branch now! read more

WFB reps have no sense of what's in front of them. And apparently there's no manager at all, according to one of the reps. This is absolutely insane. Regional managers really need to get a hold of the branches to ensure there's proper coverage or cover the managers if they are out. Formal complaint was placed with Dat, the personal banker. The girl in a pink dress, had no name tag, took over some guys tellers station to do the transactions. What would've made more sense, is open a non-cash drawer, or another drawer since you all have a TCR/NCR machine and take straight deposits to help the line. We wanted to make an appointment with this branch but she kept insisting on another location that was 5+ miles away, then had the audacity to say, "I'm going out of my way to help you here." No wonder Wells Fargo is falling further and further down the rabbit hole. Scene: we came in WF branch at 9550 Bolsa Ave, Westminster CA around 2PM today 05/03/2022 trying to make a cash deposit into a personal checking account. We were met by a teller named Cat (her Vietnamese name is Cát), who immediately refused to take our cash deposit, citing that this is a "personal account" therefore she can only accept deposits by checks only. Cat is very adamant that this is her bank's policy, not offering any explanation nor seeking any instruction from her supervisor. Cat seemed to be interested in helping other customer, not us. Maybe Cat is reluctant to feed our cash into the counting machine, costing her precious time. Maybe Cat is practicing COVID-19 prevention measures by not touching any cash bills. It is very confusing to us that US currency is no longer accepted at Wells Fargo. Perhaps, Wells Fargo is now taking deposits only in Russian Rubles or Chinese Renminbis? Well, we did not have a chance to verify this with Cat's managers, as they all seem to hurry about. No wonder Wells Fargo is closing down branches, faster than we can do a Google search for other available locations, with employees like Cat. We wish WF people lots of luck finding employments elsewhere with such low esteem and experience. We will definitely move our money to other banks. read more

I don't normally come to this branch but it was on my way to run errands. I'm leaving a one star review not because they spoke their own language but while the teller was assisting me she looks to her coworker and she's speaking in a language which I don't understand. If im being assisted, I don't find it professional that she's chatting in a language that is completely foreign to me. I've never been to a bank where a teller is chitchatting with a coworker while assisting someone who clearly doesn't know the language. It's unprofessional and makes you felt not welcome. Simply put this Wells Fargo is perfectly placed. Seriously on Bolsa in the middle of little Saigon. Let alone most of the restaurants that it shares its strip mall with are cash only. So at 2 am when your craving pho and have no cash left on you, this place will totally hook you up. 2 side by side ATMs that are walk ups. I have been here countless times in the past and countless times in the future I am sure as well. it is definitely a handy handy place to hit up. This is first time ever I'm Yelping a bank due to one unique employee, Ms. Linh Nguyen (cause I had one bad experience with one staff at this bank where she was so fake and didn't even know who I was and she assumed I was with the old lady who stood before me and she was not. I see fake when I see one!). But not Ms. Nguyen. She has a heart that is genuinely gold. This sweetest employee has gone above & beyond for customers like me even from the very first day I met her. What makes her so deserving of a title, "Best Employee of the Year," is for many great reasons. Now I understand why her manager puts Ms. Nguyen right up in front of other employees. She always demonstrates friendliness & confidence as her customers are all being treated VIP status and calling out by their names, goes above & beyond by calling me at home to assure my new card arrival or if any problems encountered, from her assertive tone of voice to her fun, relaxed mannerism, she's a real hard working person but never once shows any distress. Every time I'd come into the bank she always greets me like a true friend and best of all she's able to resolve all my banking problems. This tells me that not only she's very knowledgeable & responsible but very professionally experienced in the biz world and I'm sure she will climb up the corporate ladder very fast. If anyone wants a personal banker to really care for you and to be trusted 100%, say hello to Ms. Linh Nguyen! She is the face of Wells Fargo!!! I visited this branch to get my debit card issue resolved. First, I was told by a bank person to wait so a next available can assist me. After 20 minutes of waiting, a banker was available and asked me about the issue. After 10 minutes listening to my issue, this banker who claimed she is the branch manager (Charlene Malauulu) told me that I will need to wait another 20 minutes for her staff to come back from lunch. Charlene, if you are reading this, I think your management skills are very substandard and need improvement. You have no available staff during business hours and yourself is incapable of covering a simple task for your customer. You disrespected your customer valuable time spent to come to the branch. I have been a long time Wells Fargo customer for over 20 years and I am very disappointed at the level of service of this branch. If a branch manager cannot set an example how she can go extra mile to help customers, then she should be replaced. read more

Kristi Nguyen, lender, of this location is unprofessional. Do not come to her for any of your business needs. She went missing for days, did not return any missing calls back, and not updating any of us of what is going on, especially since our closing disclosure was due in two hours. Instead of taking responsibility of her absences, she had her assistant took care of her irresponsibility. When she was confronted of the concerns, she would point fingers at other people instead of apologizing and owning up to her mistakes. She does not have any knowledge, self pride, or understand how a good buisness ethic and practice works. IS THIS A SCAM?! Might have to close all of our accounts with Wells Fargo if they all run like this one. The supposed manager this last Thursday harassed and refused service to my elderly mother. The situation: My mom intended on depositing $2700 but handed the teller $2800 my mistake. The teller quickly counts it and reports the excess funds back to my mother. She immediately realizes the miscount and takes $100 back. Problem is solved. Deposit the $2700. The teller proceeds to return the remainder of the amount to my mom and refused to deposit it for her, insisting she double check next time. No matter how much my mom agreed, the teller still refused her service. I don't understand why. But even then, my mom took her money back and drove to the next Wells Fargo. TELL ME WHY ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES FOLLOWED HER FROM THIS WELLS FARGO TO THE NEXT ONE. THIS IS NOT SAFE. She waited in the car for 10 extra minutes in case he had bad intentions, knowing the amount of money she is carrying around having not successfully deposited at this location. She was luckily able to get in and deposit the money before the situation escalated further. Is it normal for Wells Fargo exmployees to be cleaning multiple locations? I'm really hoping this is the case because those women at this location were very agressive with my mom for seemingly no reason and this man with a spray bottle followed her from one location to the next. With everything that has gone on with other banks in this area, it all seems to add up to something very sketchy. My mom and many others we know have been victims of situations like these in the past, where they were followed from their banks and robbed. On 2/1/17, I wanted to open a checking account with Wells Fargo as a brand new customer. 1) USELESS EMPLOYEES - 1st employee told me to wait for 15-20 minutes to speak with someone. 2nd employee sat me down and took 15 minutes to look at my checking account offer. 3rd and 4th employee sent me to the computer in the corner of the branch to open the Everyday Checking account myself. 5th employee informed me I could not do it there and needed to go home. I think this wells fargo is very convenient and close by to home. The only bad thing about this place is that it's in a crowded area. Usually parking is tight and cars are everywhere. The people that work here have excellent service, they will help you out as much as you can! They work fast and sufficient so lines move quickly and it's not too long of a wait. I came here to open up my checkings and savings account and they were very nice and helped me out with everything. I ordered new printed checks using the reorder form that came with the last order. Wells Fargo called me to say it no longer honors the form. I was transferred to customer service. Of course I was really transferred to the automatic system. When I finally got through to a live body all the lines were busy; then I was informed that they had no record of my previous check orders (even though I have a checking account for over 40 years). So he started from scratch to ask a multitude of questions. After a 1/2 hour total time I was informed that the fee for 100 checks was $18 and he would process my order. Ridiculous! They're commended for their customer service but I believe otherwise. They're really fake, putting on a front like they'll take care of their customers, but they don't. Christopher switched my account over from a teen account to a regular account, and with that some of my outstanding withdraws were canceled. I paid for my college classes the day before and he said it wouldn't affect it. The next day, the amount that was pending for my classes, were then transferred to my new account. I called and let him know what happened. He said he would fix it, and the few days after that, I kept seeing the amount being transferred back and forth from the new and old account. I then had negative balance with my old account and was charged over draft fees. He said he would take care of it and he didn't. I'm so frustrated especially because I received emails from my college saying I would be dropped from my classes because the payment couldn't be processed. I really am considering switching to another bank because of this branch. It's ridiculous. Not only that, the parking in this plaza is horrible. People go out of parking spaces without looking. Worst bank ever. Tried to get a loan from them. The manager and her staff had no idea how to get anything done, both them and I were chasing the underwriting department on a daily basis to get the loan completed. By any means this was a small auto loan that should have been turned around in 24-48 hours max. They were clueless and of course I had to go somewhere else to get the job done. 20 days of back and forth with them led to nothing and they weren't even willing to remove it from my credit report. I was a victim of identity theft and they made everything so uncomfortable. I would recommend staying away from this location. read more

This Wells Fargo isn't usually busy, that's why I go here. HOWEVER, the street that it is located on is busy. BOSLA ST in Little Saigon... full of what you'd call "Asian drivers". I can be one of them sometimes (not gonna lie). The staff here are very friendly and are super helpful!
